Spirit Convergence Technique

Soon two weeks passed since he woke up as Raymond, during this time he went out to a mountain range outside the city.

The Clover family's main branch was located in the Phoenix Cry City, which was also the capital city of the Fireborn Empire.

Head of the Clover family, who was also a marquis, was stationed at the empire's border.

In return for everything the Clover family had done for the Fireborn empire, they were given a large chunk of land to build their home.

It was also done in order to keep an eye on one of the most influential families in the empire. This was done by the founding emperor of the Fireborn empire, he had allowed his four dukes and three marquises to build their manor in the capital city.

East side of the city was protected by a vast mountain range. It is here where Raymond came everyday to practise.

He kept hearing whispers about him whenever he went outside the house, so he just walked as fast as he could leaving behind a blur every time he went out.

By now he had almost full control over his power. He could control his powers without conscious effort from him.

He didn't break things randomly whenever he was not paying attention. That was a big improvement for him.

After practising for a while, when he felt confident about his control over his powers, he came back to his family compounds within the blink of an eye.

He wanted to take a look at the library of his family. But was waiting to control his powers.

Soon he reached the library where he saw a man in his forties sitting near the entrance with a table in front of him.

As soon as the man saw Raymond walking towards him, he stood up smirking and said "Brat, you are forbidden from entering the library."

"Oh, may I ask why?" he asked the man.

"Madam Rachel had said that drunkards shouldn't be allowed inside the library" he replied, chuckling.

"Are you blind? Do I look like I am drunk right now?" he asked, feeling irritated.

"That doesn't matter, your name is listed in the list of drunkards banned from the library, so you can screw off" with that he sat back calmly.

"Listen here, old man, I have really stopped drinking, that list is only for drunkards, please let me go inside the library." he tried to reason with the man.

"Who are you calling old? I will definitely not let you go inside." he stood up from his chair and stood in front of the door blocking Raymond's path.

Raymond realised that the man was deliberately trying to make things difficult for him, so reasoning with him wouldn't get him anywhere.

From time to time he would forget that he wasn't in his previous world, where people were governed by proper laws. Here people only respect strength. Whoever was stronger made the rules and rest had to follow it.

"Look old man, I am giving you one last chance, please step aside and let me in." he said flatly.

Man's lips twitched when he heard Raymond calling him an old man.

"Or else what? What are you going to do? Are you going to call your maid for help?" he asked smugly.

Raymond's eyes flickered with anger when he heard that.

He grabbed the man by his collar and threw him far away into the sky.

By the time the man realised what had happened and opened his mouth to scream, he was already flying past the city border.

Two soldiers guarding the city gate looked up to see something flying off in the distant sky.

"Look, a flying star, quickly make a wish, it will come true." One of them said.

The other soldier slapped him behind the head.

"It's daytime, where can you find a star now? It must be some expert practising flying."

"Did I throw him too hard? He wouldn't die right?" Raymond asked no one.

He shrugged his shoulders and entered the library.

Reading was one of his favourite hobbies in his previous life, so he really wanted to take a look at the books in this world.

The library was divided into two parts, one was where all the normal books were kept and other was the martial library.

He first entered the normal section to find some books to read for timepass.

He found some interesting books called 'The history of Fireborn Empire', ' The saga of descendants of Phoenix', 'The Founding Emperor'. He took them all and stashed them in the bag he was carrying.

He even found a book written about his father, 'Adventures of the Brave Thomas', wanting to read about his father he took that book too.

After that he quickly made his way towards the martial section.

He browsed through many techniques related to martial arts, but he wasn't interested in them.

He had no use for martial arts when he had overwhelming physical strength and god level reflex.

He could just dodge whatever was thrown at him or simply take them head on.

But he was interested in knowing how cultivation worked. Sadly he wasn't able to cultivate because of his broken core.

Still he went towards the shelf where cultivation techniques were kept.

He browsed through many of them but didn't find anything interesting.

Soon one of the books caught his attention. It was a dual cultivation technique called 'Spirit Convergence Technique'.

He quickly started reading the book, according to this technique when two people regardless of their gender, connect on an emotional level and become intimate with each other. A special energy is formed between them which is called spirit.

If one cultivated this technique then they could share this spirit according to their needs and speed up their core refinement.

He read the book with interest and soon reached the end, the line mentioned at last caught his attention.
