Ashley Cross was a little girl who was born in a world where all the things were falling down. Step by step. The technology improved a lot, it is the reason why the people started to destroy the planet faster than before. So maybe the planet or another mysterious force sent us a plague to end humanity.

We couldn't fight against them and in that time of desperation and anguish the top company in technology provided a solution. They have created machines which can transportate the souls of the people to a game. The people remain in the capsule while the process of the soul transfer is being completed. Our bodies have been underground and the machines will continue doing the process.

Most people chose this option, they abandon the destroyed planet and start a new life in a video game. Of course the company gave advice. "Once your body dies in real life, your soul only can live in the game, so If you die in the game you disappear forever". Even with this possibility, humanity prefered that option.

Ashley Cross was one of these people. She didn't have any relatives or friends in her life, she was an orphan girl. And she didn't want to do anything special. Her life could be considered boring and without wishes for the future. That was the reason why Ashley chose to start a new life in the virtual game.

She didn't change her aparrience, because anyone knew about her real appearance. She has strange wavy platinum blond hair, beautiful light blue eyes and pale skin. She was considering a peculiarity because of these characteristics. Ashley didn't want to highlight so she dyed her hair a brown color and let her hair grow long to cover her blue eyes.

When Ashley looked at her reflection on the screen, she was surprised. It has been a long time since she saw her real apparience. She let out a chuckle and pressed the button to start the game.
