Ch 1:Freedom

A man with short white hair which was swept backwards ,gray eyes and tanned skin color was lying down in the middle of a forest surrounded by huge trees. He was conscious but he is extremely fatigued and didn't even have strength to move his body.

'Where am I?'

If you look closely you can see he is bleeding from everywhere from his body while some of them are difficult to spot as his clothing which was a red plain mystic code camouflages it.

'So this is how it feels like dying'

Even though, he feels like he was going to die but there was no panic in his face only relief as this was expected at the end of his plan. He didn't know how long has passed but he could only gaze at the dark sky which was purplish. As his conscious is fading away he starts to think about his past.

He once had a dream, a dream to be a hero of justice and save everyone during their darkest hour and to put a smile on their faces. But he was to weak, his talents for magecraft was only mediocre at best and most importantly he started too late. On his desperate moment where a hundred life was on a stake, a powerful being offered him a chance, a chance to be powerful to change his fate. The said being's name was Alaya, where the being is the collective will of the mankind to survive. He was given absolute power using counter force to achieve his goal in exchange for his servitude to Alaya after he dies, where he becomes her agent which was known as counter guardian to deal with threats to mankind. He agreed to the contract which was presented to him by Alaya without hesitation as he can save those 100 people and continue saving people after death as a counter guardian.

He used his newfound power to achieve his goal and became a hero for the mankind and saved countless lives in his lifetime where his final act was ending a great war. But, in the end he was betrayed by humanity and was sentenced to death. That was the end of his life as Emiya Shirou a hero. After his dead he entered the throne of heroes and became a heroic spirit and thus begin his life as counter guardian to keep his end the deal on the contract which in the end was not what he expected it to be when he signed up for it. He then remembers the method he has to use to save the humanity time and time again as Alaya's agent where he has to kill everything and everyone near the area he was sent to as an act to remove the threat . Even though it was not the hero he wanted to be or the act that at least he used to stand for but in the end he buried everything deep within himself and killed again and again for eons where the casualty counts is near millions at each place he was sent too.

And finally he came to realize that it was impossible to save everyone and it is easier to maintain a certain balance and save the majority at the cost of a few. He became fed up with his existence as a counter guardian thus devised a plan to free himself from Alaya's clutches. He used an opening due too flaw that was present and was summoned as an heroic spirit from the throne of heroes during the 5th holy grail war as Rin Tohsaka's servant. He successfully killed his past self and became free then suddenly the world started to shake due to the changes and a crack in space is formed in front of him as he was sucked away and here he is dying alone in a forest surrounded by huge trees.
