CH 5 - Connected To Purgatory

Akira decides to fly to where the royal knights are and lands in front of them.

"I would like to request something from your king it's to benefit Cho," said Akira.

"We're listening," said a royal knight.

"Oh no I want to speak to him myself," said Akira wanting to speak directly to Cho's father.

"It's a two day trip," said a royal knight.

"That's okay I'll be right back," said Akira and she goes back to the cave to gather everyone.

"I'm going to be gone for a few days, so Sakura will be in charge well im gone," said Akira.

"Where are you going?" asked Emiko.

"To talk to Cho's father about supplies," said Akira and she files back to where the royal knights are.

"Okay let's go," said Akira.

2 Days Later...

They have made it to the salamander kingdom which is inside a giant mountain.

Akira walks into the throne room with the royal knights and Akira tells the king what happened with Cho.

"I see, I guess I should thank you for saving my daughter," said the king knowing that the goblins would have killed Cho after she gave birth with it wasn't for Akira.

"Then how about some supplies?" asked Akira.

"Of course," said the king.

"Okay, then im going to need some people to build a town in the forest and to teach the goblins. I also need food and other necessary supplies," said Akira and the king wonders why she wants to build a town.

"Why do you want to build a town?" asked the king.

"It's because it's not right to live in a cave," said Akira.

"Okay give me a second," said the king and he writes down what Akira wants on paper, and uses the royal seal.

"Okay I would recommend the dwarf Kenji he is experienced in building towns, weapons, armour, and stuff like that." said the king and she points her in the direction of Kenji.

Akira walks around and she sees Kenji's blacksmith store.

Akira walks in to see Kenji working on a sword.

"Kenji?" asked Akira.

"Yes that's me," said Kenji.

"I have this letter from the king about helping me build a town," said Akira and Kenji takes a look at the paper.

"I can save you the trouble and gather everything you need," said Kenji.

"That would be great," said Akira and Kenji looks at her for the first time to see that she is a dragon.

"It can't be your a dragon," said Kenji not believing his eyes.

"Yes is there something special about that?" asked Akira knowing that there must be many dragons.

"You don't know do you?" asked Kenji.

"Know what?" asked Akira confused.

"Dragons have been extinct for thousands of years," said Kenji and Akira is shocked.

"There Must Be More I Just Hatched Not Long Ago!" said Akira knowing that a dragon had to lay the egg she came out of.

"The thing is it takes thousands of years for a dragon to hatch. Your egg must have survived for all those years," said Kenji and Akira falls to her knees.

"I'm the only one left," said Akira knowing that she's alone in this world.

Akira starts to see memories from the past when dragons ruled the world, but she also feels the pain of all the dead dragon souls.

Akira's eyes turn blood red for a moment and she takes in some of the dead dragon's power.

Tears come from Akira's eyes.

"I saw them there in so much pain," said Akira.

"You mean you saw the dragons?" asked Kenji.

"Yes, I was in a pit of darkness with the souls of the dragons crying in pain," said Akira.

"I don't believe it you saw purgatory," said Kenji confused because purgatory is just a legend.

"Purgatory?" asked Akira.

"Purgatory is where monsters go when they die. I thought it was just a legend, but somehow it's real and you have a connection with it," said Kenji and Akira hears a voice in her head.

"Open the gate and claim what's yours," said a monstrous voice in Akira's head.

Akira gets a location of a gate inside her head.

Akira gets a piece of paper and a pen and she draws the gate.

"What is that?" asked Kenji.

"The gate to purgatory," said Akira.
