11 Rayaka Village

Fly toward Rayaka Yuno only thought about delivering the letter quickly and getting back, to go to the hot springs

'Oh, right I almost forgot doesn't magna still live in Rayaka also if I am not incorrect, he should be 13 since he was three years older than me and Asta in black clover. I wonder if I will see him when I reach Rayaka speaking of which it seems I am there'

Descending down at the entrance of the village Yuno got of his broom and entered into it. Passing many houses a few people Yuno realise that he did not know where the chief house even was. [A/N: starting from here it's going to be off canon since there was not a lot of information on Rayaka village heck they did not even give me a pic of the village so I am going to describe it vaguely]

Sighing to himself, Yuno decided to ask one of the locals

"Good morning, sir"

Turning around to see who was talking to him the man also greeted

"Oh, good mourning"

The man seemed to be in his fifties, he had dark grey hair and a few white hairs in the mix he also had a pringles mascot looking mustache.

"I have not seen you face around here before, are you new"

"Yes, I just arrived here, can I asked where does the village chief live, I am supposed to give him a letter"

"Will that 'him' is actually a she and I can saw she was a beauty"

Looking at the old man question-ly Yuno responded

"Ok?"

"But sadly, time caught up to her and she did not age well neither did I. But back in the good Olday she used to get so mu" (much)

"Stop! I just want to ask where she lives"

Yuno already had experience dealing with the situation about 'back in the day' with old people his grandfather would always tell stories about 'back in the good Olday' and they would last for two to three hours he had no time for that, he wanted to go to the hot spring and knowing Asta he could not stay long.

"Hmph rude, just keep on going straight and take a left on the second turn you will see her house you cannot miss it"

Puffing his checks like a tsundere the old man told Yuno where to find the chief then turned around and kept on walking the way he was going while reminiscing about the past.

'Bruh you are in your fifties that ain't cute it only works for girls'

Going in the direction the old man told him, Yuno reach the village chief house. It was had a red colour to it two windows at the front and a chimney at the top of the roof it was quiet beauty compared to the houses made in the forsaken realm.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Knocking on the house door Yuno waited for a response

"Coming! I am getting too old for this"

'Getting too old for want?'

Opening the door, a short old granny appears [A/N: HAhaha did you guys really think you would be getting a hot gilf will you are wrong but as an apology I will give you guys a pic of her younger days]

"Good morning their youngster how my I help you?"

"Morning, I am from Hage village my name is Yuno, I was sent by father Orsi to deliver this letter to you"

Saying this Yuno gave the letter to the granny and was about to leave but....

"Oh, is that so, that man has not spoken to me in ages and now sends a child instead of coming himself how (imprudent)"

*sigh* "whatever he can't hide forever. Yuno was it you can come inside I just brew some tea and I hear about what Orsi has been doing over the years"

Looking up in the sky Yuno could see that it was far from noon.

'I guess I can stay a while'

"Sure"

Entering into the house Yuno shut the door and followed the granny to the kitchen.

[3 POV Asta]

"Alright I am finished"

Getting out of the tent after finish unpacking his and Yuno stuff Asta set up a camp fire and started cooking the meat he brought with him while waiting for Yuno come back

Looked around the plain while he waited for the meat to finished cook, he noticing movement from the west, Asta observed more closely and was surprise at what he saw.

"What the hell how is that thing here"

What Asta was looking at was a white bear 200 meters away from him. It was not any ordinary bear but one that was partially covered in ice that resembled armour and was 1.8 meters high how could even see it from such a far distance was because of the light refracting off the ice on the bear.

What was surprising was not it's appearance but its location, this bears are native to the Spade kingdom because of its cold climate its unusually to see one in a different country but not rare.

'It's defiantly from the from the Spade kingdom it most have crossed the neutral zone and entered the Clover kingdom from the north west. Its best if I avoid it, I read in the book Yuno bought that this bears species is known as Arcas and is extremely strong, are able to smell food from 40 mile away and is able to control ice'

[A/N: This is real information I looked it up and now I fear to go camping again without at least a weapon I hope none of you guys are going camping while reading this have a great day also the bear species name comes from Greek and is one of Zeus's sons that was turn into a bear yes, I do my research]

'But aren't that aggressive unless provoked so as long as I stay here everything is good'

But in the next moment Asta could smell the meat that he was cooking around his camp fire and remembered special traits of the Arcas bear

"........"

Turning to the meat that was cooking over his camp fire Asta had only one though

'fuck'

*RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR! *

In the next moment a loud roar burst further from the west of Asta camp and resonated throughout the entire plain

"God damn it I have the worst luck I was born without magic and I am now going to get killed by a bear that's not even native to my own country "

The Arcas started to slowly move in the direction of the camp slowly walk then to running the Arcas was now running straight to the camp. The bear was gaining distant Arcas quickly

"BUT if you think I would go down without a fight you are surely mistaken!"

Taking out the bow he got for his birthday present from father Orsi and the arrows that Yuno gave him a few days ago.

"Damn I did not what to uses these arrows yet since Yuno said it's for emergency only"

[Time Magic: small flash-back]

"Happy birthday, caught"

As everyone one was celebrating Asta and Yuno, Yuno throwed a quiver filled with arrows at Asta it held 36 arrows.

"Ah thank but why give me more arrows when father Orsi gave me a bow with some"

"These are magical arrows some are infused with my mana and some of their arrow heads are made from mana stones but no matter what only use the white-green and black arrow for emergency there should be 5 white-green and 1 black arrow be careful especially using the black arrow"

But as Yuno was about to get back to celebrating with everyone he turns back around to Asta.

"Oh, right I almost forgot here is your next birthday present don't want you to die"

Throwing another item at Asta which was a small black box Yuno slowly went back to celebrating

"I feel bad now I could not get you anything Yuno"

"don't worry about, with your broke ass I doubt you could get me anything good but what matter is the though"

"I will get you a present that's awesome just you wait just give me a few weeks"

"Sure, I will wait"

Now alone Asta opened his second present but only gave one response

"Huh?"

[Time Magic: Small flash-back end]

'That was even the reason why I came out here to begin with, I knew there was a hot spring out here so I told Mr Ford about so that when Yuno went to his shop again he would mention it to Yuno. How do I even know if hot spring would be a good present for him is because I overheard him say he would go to a hot spring once so I planned everything'

'So, I can't die now '

Taking out an arrow that had a blue stone as its Arrow head Asta place it on the bow sting and pulled it. Taking a deep breath, Asta released the bow string the arrow pierce through the air at extreme speed leave only a whistle behind
