Reborn As The Villainess's Knight

Reinhardt, in his past life, he was a student who was brutally murdered. However, he had been reborn as the Knight of The Villainess from a Novel he had once read. In his last life, he didn't accomplish anything, in fact, the most notable thing he had ever done was killing his murder. But now, he had another chance. And this time, he was going to survive no matter what. Armed with the Heart of a God and knowledge from the novel he had once read, he would make sure to survive, and trample over anyone who sought to take what was his. *** I dont own the cover art, just smt I found on Pinterest I think. Let me know if you're the owner and want it down. This is my second novel, so you can expect an above average quality of writing. There will be romance but it'll be gradual, and he won't be dense or anything since that would be annoying. The MC might be a tad bit insane at times, and he won't be OP immediately. But he won't be losing too often. Anyways, enjoy! And check out my other novel, The Child Soldier's Reincarnation if you like my style of writing. Upload schedule: As of now, daily but I'll take a one day break whenever I need it.

Chapter 38 - Entrance Exam [9]

As I waited for the Princess to finish up her check up, a young Elven came out of one the rooms. The Elf had long, grey hair along with a set of piercing, pale blue eyes. She was none other than the Elven Princess who fought my own Princess.

She was Aubrey Elfrieda.

She didn't have any visible wounds, this was because her fight wasn't particularly vicious. Both sides were fairly evenly matched and so, it was hard for either of them blows.

When she looked at me, I noticed her pupils had began dilating as she began to look uncomfortable. Her right arm trembled, and used her left arm to stop it's shaking.

"Is something... wrong?"

She sighed as our gazes met, she approached me almost angrily.

"Yes. Something's wrong. It's.. you that's wrong. What the hell are you? What sort of person has that much Mana in them. It's like I'm staring at a massive ball of Mana rather than an actual person. As a matter of fact, are you actually a human? Is all that Mana actually yours? Are you using some sort of Artifact or technique or something? There's just no way a human has that much Mana. Actually, are you perhaps a member of the Sun Tribe? I wouldn't be surprised if you were a Dragon or something."

She said that last bit jokingly, but everything preceeding the mention of the Sun Tribe was serious.

"But jokes aside, you're a real freak of nature. You could put a numerous amount of Awakened together, and they probably wouldn't have as much Mana as you. But that aside, you... have you actually learnt how to fight? Your swordsmanship didn't take advantage of your longer sword, and your movements didn't take advantage of your longer limbs. It's like you have no idea how to fight. Are you perhaps... totally inept at using the sword whilst being a prodigy at using Magic?"

Then, Charlotte came out of her room, interrupting the Elf.

"My Reinhardt lost his memory, he hasn't really learnt how to fight. And his master says it's best for him not learn any other fighting style, and to instead grow the fighting style he's made for himself."

Then, the Elf's eyes widened and she trembled. Her small body shook as she processed what she had just heard.

"How... long has it been since he lost memories? Awakened tend to lose their ability to control Mana after becoming amnseiacs so he must've lost it a rather long time ago to be this strong. He should've developed a sense for battle by now."

"Two weeks."

Aubrey nodded her head at my words, and looked at us as if we were crazy.

"Yeah, sure. If you don't want to tell me that's fine. If you actually became that strong in two weeks then you're a monster who'll leave his mark on the planet's history. In any case his master is probably right."

Charlotte raised an eye brow as Aubrey agreed with what Caelus had said to me a while back.

"Your Knight. He has an overwhelming talent for violence. It's unlike that Arthur guy who's skill is uncanny, it's an entirely different talent. Whatever the hell he's doing, let him keep doing it. Your Knight's a monster. So is that Arthur guy, though they're really damn scary."

As she was about to walk away, she turned on her heel before meeting my eyes. The question she was about to ask seemed to be of the utmost importance.

Question. Do you bite everyone you fight against? That can't be good for anyone..."

She sounded a little disguisted by how I bit Arthur's neck. Actually, she was totally horrified by it. I turned my gaze towards Charlotte who looked away, seemingly unable to disagree with what Aubrey had said, she too found it disgusting that I would bite someone even if it was an extremely effective attack.

"Yeah... Reinhardt, maybe don't bite people so... readily. I don't care how effective it is, you don't need to bite your fellow examinees, that poor boy's going to have whatever's in your mouth inside his neck."

'They seem to forget that he cauterised it, killing any bacteria and that he had it checked up. Are they so disgusted that they can't think?'

Sighing, I began to walk from the two Princesses.

"Come on, the next fight's probably started already."

A/N: break tmr probably, so no chap
