Chapter 9

It's been two months since we moved into my grandparents' manor. A rumour about mother and Arthur's divorce was known everywhere. There are lots of speculation about the said divorce, some speculated that there is a third party while others speculated that Arthur was abusing his wife.

I don't know who spread the rumours but ome things for sure, It will help me ruin Arthur's image. As one of the richest and known merchant in this kingdom, It wasn't easy to bring Arthur down.

With the help of my grandparents, I'm planning on slowly destroying Arthur's every business. Arthur's actually not doing clean business and he sometimes conspired with the underworld. Underworld is where you can make illegal deals and this is also where you can find black market. He knows how to clean well so that nobody would notice so it'll be hard to find evidence against but with the help of my grandparents' , It will help us gather evidence against him.

My grandfather also came from a family of knights and became a captain, he married grandma who is the only heir of the former duke. Grandma is a descendant of Anya Williams, Anya Williams is the little sister of Aria Williams who is also a hero together with Hayden Reggian, it also says in the book that Aria and Hayden were lovers. Both grandfather and grandmother have strong backgrounds that surpassed my expectations.

My revenge would probably be easy than I thought...But I don't want to rush things in one go. I want to slowly put Arthur into misery. As for Claudius...He is still a child and all those things he did so far were still kind of childish in my opinion. As a college student who's inside a body of a child, wouldn't it be weird if I took revenge on a merely seven years old child? I'm not that lowly and pathetic.

"Are you excited in learning Admon's way of sword?" grandfather talked to me as we were walking on the hallway, outside the window I could see a number of knights doing swordsmanship training. Admon was grandfather's family, I don't really need to learn a new swordsmanship since I got Hayden's combat abilities including her swordsmanship which is said to be the strongest in this world but to not reveal my abilities, I think this is necessary.

I smiled brightly looking at my grandfather "Yes grandpa!" Grandpa patted my head while we were walking. "The Admon's way of sword could only be passed into another Admon like your mother and Uncle. You, my dear grandson is a Admon so be proud!" I nodded as I kept on smiling.

"Uhm grandpa?..." I said as we kept on walking.

Grandfather's head turned to look down on me "Yes my dear grandchild?"

"Can I ask you a favor?" I asked.

"Of course!" Grandfather laughed "Ask me whatever you want! I'll do it as long as I can do it with all my abilities"

I smiled but make I make my smile a little brighter and cheerful to look like a child Infront of my grandfather "Can you help me change my last name? I also want to be an Admon like mother!" Ever since mother and Arthur divorced, mother got her old last name back which is Admon.

Grandfather paused for a moment but he smiled and laughed "Of course! I'd be glad and happily do that!" I sighed in my heart in relief, I don't really want to have Arthur's last name and I wanted to cut everything I have connected to him so I wanted to change my last name which came from him as my father.

"Rest assured! Soon you will be Oliver Admon!" I smiled and hugged grandfather "Thank you grandpa!" Grandfather is a doting grandfather towards me, I've never experienced this before and I must say, it makes me feel happy and warm.

When we arrived at the private training ground, there's only me and grandpa alone. Before we start he gave me a wooden sword "This wooden sword is different and a lot special compared to the other wooden sword you'll find or used before. This one's passed down from our ancestors for decades. Do you know why this is special?" Grandfather asked me as I analyzed the sword and looking at it.

For some reason, despite being only a wooden sword it has a some kind of aura around it. I shook my head and looked up to grandfather "Can you tell me about it grandpa?" Grandpa smiled and patted my head.

"Back then during the war against demons, your great great great great grandmother is also one of the knights who protected this world and kingdom. She was a friend of Hayden Reggian the hero who she was very fond of. Hayden decided to go on an adventure around the world with her lover, Aria. Before your great great great great grandmother parted ways with Hayden, she asked for Hayden's stuff as a memento and Hayden gave her her old wooden sword used in training and imbued it with her own magic so it would be sturdier and last for generations" grandfather smiled as he watch me look at the wooden sword with amazement.

Grandfather first let me do some warm up exercises first before letting me run five laps around the training ground. I used to train like this back in the Ashford manor so running five laps isn't that hard for me anymore.

After running he taught me the proper stance and he was impressed when I got it properly the first time he taught me. He made me swing my sword five hundred times keeping my proper stance with consistency.

It was already afternoon when we finished our training. Grandfather told me change because we will meet my uncle in the afternoon.

After changing I immediately went my way towards the dining room and met my mother along the way.

"Mother!" I rushed to hug mother who turned around with a smile. Mother gently caressed my cheeks.

"How's training? Was it hard?" I shook my head and smiling "It was fun and by the way mother I asked grandfather for a favor". Mother blinked twice wondering what i was "I told him that I wanted to change my last name into Admon just like yours". Mother paused for a while and I could see her eyes slowly tearing up but she smiled and hugged me.

When we arrived the dining room, there was a guy sitting at the dining table beside grandmother. There's also a little girl who looks younger than me who had the same hair as her father which is red like us.

When we sat down, the guy looked sadly into my mother "Sister...I heard everything from mother and father... Don't worry sister I'll make him pay!!" He clenched his fists as if he was going to punch someone. My mother smiled gently and shook her

head "It's okay brother, no need to bother yourself with someone like him"

Even though mom said that her brother agreed but I know, just like grandfather he will also find ways to punish him. It seems like me, grandfather and uncle agreed with one thing which is to bring that man down.

"Is that my niece? She's so cuteee" Mother said with a smile on her face as if to change the subject earlier. The girl with red hair and emerald eyes similar to my mother lowered her head in embarrassment. If I look at mother and this cousin of mine, it seems like they're the real mother and daughter.

Uncle nodded "Yes, She looks very much like you sister and her name is Anastasia, Anastasia Admon. She is a very shy child but she's already five years old this year". He gently patted Anastasia's soft looking hair with a soft smile on his face "Go greet your aunt Arabella and brother Oliver".

The girl looked at his father and slowly nodded. The girls face we're slightly red in embarrassment "G-greetings to aunt Arabella and brother Oliver..." she immediately lowered her head.

"Wahh~ such a cute child~, don't you think so too Oliver?" I nodded while smiling "Mother is right, Anastasia is cute!" I smiled and mother caressed my face.

"From now on treat Anastasia as your little sister okay?" I nodded my head agreeing to my mother. I've never had a sister before so I was quite happy having one.

"You'll be my little sister now Anastasia! So feel free to rely on brother okay?" I said to Anastasia with a soft smiled on my face. She looked up to me and slowly nodded with a smile.

Sorry I wasn't able to post anything yesterday because we lost our internet connection but it's been fixed already. I hope you liked this chapter.

Btw I'm not sure if I mentioned the name of Oliver's mother so I put it in this chapter and named her Arabella. Oliver's uncle will be Devin.

I just thought that maybe it'll be fun if Oliver will have a sister who will treat her kindly unlike Claudius. What do you guys think?

Oh right...As a compensation for not being able to post anything yesterday, I will post a chapter later! I will also make sure to make it more interesting, this chapter's not that exciting to read but the next chapter will so I hope you'll read it!
