Chapter 9- Spicy Flax

Vincent ran non-stop. Unaware of the task force created with the purpose of killing him. All of his problems would vanish when he gets that skill so why bother?

"Who's that hooded player running like a crazy?" there were some players in the level 2 area who spotted Vincent.

"Don't bother bro it's probably a newbie running away from the monsters," the other one said.

"But he has The Seer nickname above his head. It's probably a fake, right?"

"Haha, of course. Wait, what did you just said?"

When the two players realized, Vincent was long gone.

"Everyone recognizes me. Fame isn't that great..."

Inside the level 2 area there was a waterfall. Players quickly discovered the cave hidden behind it. There wasn't much there. Some herbs like the Spicy Flax and one treasure chest. The chest was a Silver Tier chest, which wasn't that amazing. Vincent knew a lot of locations with gold chests, but he firstly needed to complete that hidden quest inside the Moonlight Forest.

Vincent quickly arrived at the waterfall. It wasn't that far and he had ran like a madman, no wonder he arrived that fast. The waterfall had a small passageway in the sides. One could slowly walk towards the center of it, finding the cave behind it. So that was what Vincent did.

"Whoa. I wonder what would happen if I tripped or something," he thought, looking down at the ground. Luckily, nothing bad happened and Vincent arrived at the cave safely.

"All right it's time for some herbs."

It didn't take him long to find the Spicy Flax. The herb had a unique appearance. In fact, most of the plants inside Rise were like that.

"Let's grab a couple of those," Vincent was afraid that he would somehow lose the herb so he gathered a couple of them, and then walked towards a shining chest that stood at the middle of the small cave.

Chests in Rise had a determined loot inside of them, these were the fixed chests. The game developers decided to grant items based on classes in certain chests, and the one in the cave was precisely one of those. For example, if a Warrior opened certain chest, it would contain an Iron sword. But if a Mage opened the same chest, it would contain a spell book. But of course, all of the items would have similar power in the end.

These type of chests were most common at the start of the game. That way players would be able to find items according to their classes, making their life easier at the beginning.

"Come to mee sweet item," Vincent had tons of knowledge but no way he would remember all of the items in all of the chests. He remembered only the most important. A Silver Tier chest inside that cave wasn't in that list.

He opened the chest, releasing a silver light. The entirety of the cave lighted up, and Vincent noticed the item inside of it.

[Scaled Grimmoire(Silver Tier, Low Grade] [Level 5]

[+20 Magic DMG]

Description: a Grimmoire made with scales of an unknown best. Some say it could be mermaids, who knows.

"Not bad. Strangely this chest gave me a level 5 item inside a level 2 area. I think that's because of the bonus loot when someone opens a chest for the first time. The best items only go to the first player."

Vincent equipped his new Grimmoire happily, but then he heard some noises coming from the outside.

"My informant said that he saw The Seer running in this direction. Split up and find him," a man who seemed the boss of them said.

That group of players were the task force hunting Vincent down. He looked at the forums for some information right after hearing that. People wouldn't just hunt him down for no reason.

"They are hunting me down for no reason? Just because I'm higher level? Just you wait, I'll make all of you suffer." Vincent pondered what to do in that situation. If he was correct, there was tons of players in that task force.

"Oh. I can do that, HAHAHA. Vincent you evil bastard." He came up with a plan, and that task force would pay for creating trouble with him.
