Prologue

"Father, please don't do this to me!"

As her blood ridden eyes pleaded desperately at the man who long had forgotten her very existence. His expressions remained as cold as they had always been towards Valentia, looking down at her trembling body as his hand was tightly wrapped around his niece's.

Or as she should now call her, his daughter, Princess Binitha.

"Kill her!" "She tried to harm our true princess" "She should never see the light again".

Vicious profanities ran through Valentia's soft, small ears as the rope that wrapped around her thin wrists and ankles slowly started to rub and burn its way through her flesh. Tomatoes, pears, apples, and even carrots were thrown as her defenseless body was trapped against the wooden pillar. Every hit seemed to bruise or even more break something on her.

However, her father did little to nothing to calm her down.

As much as she wanted to hold his hand, as much as she wanted him to look into her eyes with as much love, as much as she wanted her father to tell her 'It is okay' and 'I love you' as she was to go through the most unbearable amounts of pain.

She never would have the pleasure of gaining this.

All those moments have been reserved strictly for the lying piece of mouth trash that is his new daughter.

"Crown Princess Valentia Rosella Castanie,"

As the silence dawned upon the stadium, everyone including her father, Kind Darcel, turned towards the man in question. The executioner that was standing next to the crown princess slowly moved from this placement, only to tower before her. He beamed at the attention that his mere commoner words seemed to gain from the nobles that stood below him as his sword that was once raised to the gods above moved to the neck of the small, 16-year-old girl whose life was about to be taken away in an instant.

His eyes scanned the poor soul's clothing. It was a simple plain white nightdress that now had dirt and tears stains attached to the expensive fabric.

"I am sorry that my apparel isn't up to your expectations," Valentia whispered as the bulking man glared down. She knew that this day would not only give him a large pay but a bonus if he was able to ensure the quality of the fabric of the crown princess's clothing was valuable enough to sell after he stole it from her dead body.

It was morally wrong, however, she understood. Everyone wants to survive no matter what, that is where she differs from the majority.

She just wanted to live.

As she peered out towards the crowd in front of her, there were many nobles that she knew, that she believed she was friends with, screaming and laughing at the state she was in. There was no dignity or poise in their stances or words. Their backs had become slouched, their faces moved in the most unrefined ways, their clothing had become crunched and faltered with how close they moved against each other in trying to get a closer look at the fallen princesses' death. She has never felt as much humiliation or betrayal in her whole life as in this moment.

"Has been sentenced to sacrifice her life to the new Princess Binitha after multiple assassination attempts against our new princess have been found out upon further research into the case".

Valentia's screams of denial would have become just that of a mutter if she even tried to fight back against lost the crowd of both nobles and commoners who screamed death right back at her innocent words. The executioner seemed to bask in the horror of the scene he is about to cause. His smile was haunting however, the large sack of money that was chained to his thigh seemed to be the one thing keeping his mind off going crazy.

It was almost as though he needed this kill to regain his sanity.

She watched as his dirty, wrinkled hands gripped around the handle of the long sword with such force that she knew there was no way of getting through his thick mindset. She would give her life to save his and however many people his sword might have slashed had she not been executed on the day of her birthday. As her silver like blonde hair that was now dirtied from the dirt fell in front of her face and unable to move it, she was only able to see her father one last time out of her right eye.

However, it was not her father's eyes that she had hoped to be her last sight before her death as they had been hidden behind his lowered head but that of green orbs and fire red hair of Binitha staring back at her with such a dark smirk that it made her heart grow even more painful with every beat.

"The sacrifice shall now commence".

As the swooshing of the sword swung in the air, time seemed to slow as with one eye Valentia attempted to understand the words that the devil herself mouthed back to her.

"You"

There seemed to now be 5 seconds before the sword came slashing down against her exposed neck. The sweat from the executioner bounced off his overweight body and the faces of the nobles became distorted with rage and happiness at the same time.

"Got".

Her eyes widened as she felt the cold metal start to touch her skin. The pain slowly started to grow as she felt the powerful gushing of blood come from the impacted area. Still, she needed to know the words of the true killer.

"Abandoned".

As the final word was spat out, a single tear fell from her eye while her head was removed from her body.

Later after this event, Binitha and her four handsome husbands lived in the palace and had 10 children collectively.

They lived happily ever after since defeating the evil villainess.

-The End-

"The end my fucking ass!"

Throwing the novel across the room, the nameless orphaned teen's voice rang with anger as steam blew out from her nostrils as she gripped her black hair in frustration, pulling some strands out as a result.

"I mean seriously. You kill off my beloved soulmate Valentia with such disgrace and then you just go on and skip past this like it was just a little pebble in the road to Binitha's to becoming the Queen with so much indecisiveness that she married ALL FOUR MEN? I don't even think that's legal!"

Glaring at the book with her arms folded tightly against her chest, the young teen girl anger could not have been more prominent at that moment seeing how the throw of anger created a massive dent in the mysterious book that seemed to have found its way onto her bed, only to ruin her peaceful day.

"Valentia deserves better!" The high-pitched scream at the book caused the pages to move in fear as her finger pointed at the beast. "You stupid author. If I were Valentia, I would have killed your precious Binitha then kill her again for my own personal interest."

Just then before her pitch-black eyes, a pop-up of what seemed to be an invitation like out of a video game appeared. The box was white and shiny like she was the first one to even gaze upon the weird contraption.

Staring at the box in confusion, the girl muttered the sentence that was written on the box out loud to no one other than herself.

"Try again?"

Little did she know that saying those two words on the box would result in her life forever changing in many ways more than one.

For as the bright light that caused her eyes to shut in blindness faded away and she was able to open her eyes again, she was met with a sign that she had never expected in a million years to be played before her.

The signature black hair, the small freckle that was dotted on the corner of his right eye, and his goddammed red eyes were all that she could see. However, as she reached to touch his face, her hand had become so small and heavy that it slapped against his cheek instead of caressing as she had hoped.

"Just as I had expected from the..."

His deep chuckle that cut his sentence short only brought more fear into her small heart as her eyes blinked at the man in curiosity.
