Chapter 3: Life & Mana

It's been a week since I joined the martial arts dojo

for a week, I've been beaten up by a number of the seniors. I can handle some juniors, but the seniors are not just physically powerful; they also know many martial arts techniques that are challenging to avoid.

Another thing I started doing was going to school. We are currently nearing the end of the first year, which means that starting next month, I will be in my second year.

At first, it was a little strange, but after a few conversations with Tonomachi, I felt more at ease. I feel an odd kinship with this guy's personality and desire because he is straightforward and discusses his waifu on a girl game. It's the same game, which is a part of Fraxinus servers.

Everything was going well until I felt a stare. I was taken aback to notice that Origami was fixated on me at all times. Due to my spiritual sense, I can now feel it even if it was far away. In the Original story, I choose to ignore her for the time being, she won't start chatting with Shido until they are in the second year.

Today I'm at home alone since Kotori is gone to meet her friend, probably for Ratatoskr business.

Today I'm thinking about training my mana. Last time, I thought Kotori probably find out, but I don't think she can feel my presence.

I return to my room, lock the doors and windows, and sit in a relaxed, meditative posture.

I began to focus, gazing inward even further using the breathing method. I began to calm myself, trying to find the center until I reached my core.

It was warm, and I had the impression that it was gradually easing my taekwondo-related tension and easing his sore muscles.

After about an hour, I found it.

As most of it was focused in my heart, I sought to disperse the mana throughout the rest of his body by regulating my breathing and concentrating on that sensation.

It means that the spirit core is kept inside my heart.

Though it took me some time, I eventually succeeded. Although the old mana skin was slow and challenging to use, I can now use the new mana skin without any issues.

Unknown to me, more than 2 hours flew by opening my eyes I felt well-rested despite having spent the time in meditation, so that was good.

I made the decision to leave and utilize the day, So I decided to visit the dojo for martial arts.

I Halted

"Wait, I have to start the preparations for dinner or Kotori might start acting out as she did before." Making food is difficult because of how busy you are with school and the martial arts dojo.

Currently, It's 6:23, and usually, I start making dinner at 7:00 so what to do

I started watching television while exercising with the new mana skin since I was becoming bored.

"I aim to reach Taekwondo Basic A." With this, I began my training, adding weight and strengthening it with my spiritual force. This was challenging because Camael is not suitable for this type of activity.

Camael only focuses on destruction and protects its owner.

I started working out while watching TV, but don't think I'm doing it for fun.

Manipulating mana skin requires focus, but I want to use it subconsciously, so it won't create problems in the near future

So I started working out for the next 30 minutes.

"Huu~ that was good"

I was sweating like hell, so I decided to take a bath

A few moments later

I got in the shower and started scrubbing the soap.

Suddenly, I feel someone's presence burst open the door.

"Hey onii-chan what are you doi-" It was Kotori who just burst the door open and see-saw everything in 4K

"EEK!~ My little sister is peeking at me!" I said as I threw the bucket at her face, and covered my private parts with my hands.

"Huh—Sorry, I didn't know you were bathing" She turned around, I could see her ears were tomato red.

"For now, just go close the door" I said

"Hmph—Yes" Kotori said as she closed the door and ran away

"I never expected to feel this awkward."

Suddenly, a transparent screen pops up in front of me

"heh you" I said in a shocking expression 'But again he did say he will observe me but can a god really interfere here' I thought

"Wait, did you also see what happen before"

"Not you too-Even a god is peeking on me, at least give me some private space"

I quickly finish my bath and head over to the living hall.

Kotori was sitting on the couch as she noticed me, her face turned bright red as she remembered the earlier incident.

"You should knock before coming" I said

"W-why were you bathing at this time" With a little awkwardness in her voice, Kotori said.

"I decided to take a bath because I had worked out and was sweating."

"Hmm" Kotori was afraid I might be upset with her.

"Don't worry, I'm not angry" I said as I patted her head

Kotori questioned, seeming a little concerned, "Are you truly not angry?"

"Why would I be angry on my cute little sister" I said with a smile

"Really" Kotori eyes lit up "Thanks Onii-chan" she said as she hugged me

"There-There, be careful next time" I said as I caressed her hair

"Okay, let's prepare dinner. It's already 7:21 a.m."

"Yes" Kotori said as she let go of me

"Hey, considering tomorrow is a Sunday, how about we go out and have some fun?"

"Yes sure" Kotori responded, her eyes twinkling. "A date with onii-chan" she murmured

"You said something?"

"No" kotori said with a radiant smile on her face

Okay, I replied as I walked to the kitchen.
