Chapter 15

[A few weeks later]

Today Iruka said "Hello class we are going to do something special today! Now please follow me out of the room" 'Either we are going to get a speech from the foolish Hokage Hiruzen or something else is going to happen. I hope it's something interesting'

I thought while the class silently walked in a single file line following Iruka. When we reached our destination Iruka said with a smile.

"Okay, class sit down wherever you want and wait for a bit we have an incredible guest to speak with you today"

'Oh? I wonder who our surprise guest is going to be? Hold on it's that sly fool Hiruzen. Honestly, that guy is probably the worst Hokage in history. Now that I think of it, weren't the past Hogakes quite bad too? Hashirama wanted peace so he stupidly gave away the tailed beasts (Poor guys) Tobirama was just pure discrimination and Minato… I'm not sure about that guy, he died too soon to know if he would be a good Hokage or not.

Anyways we are on the roof of the academy which is terrifyingly large so I don't think telling the students to sit anywhere is a good idea especially with Naruto being a class clown. Yes, Naruto is the class clown, why? I don't know Sakura and I are already his friends so he shouldn't feel so lonely but I assume that he still wants more people to acknowledge him.

I think that it is foolish to be a clown to get everyone's acknowledgment but Naruto is a six-year-old of course he's going to do something stupid to get everyone's attention. I should help him befriend a few people to help him not be...well the class clown. I wonder who would be his friend?

Ah! I got it why don't I make Naruto and Sasuke friends! It should help them with their relationship in the future. Speaking of relationships I have been noticing Sakura fidgeting and looking away from Sasuke in embarrassment for a while now so I think it might be safe to assume that Sakura has a crush on Sasuke.

Fufu is excellent teasing material! I can now harmlessly bully Sakura with this knowledge of mine! I can get her back for that one time she denied my choice of choosing a game to play. Yeah, this happened a year ago! Am I being petty...yes...does it matter? Nope.

While I was drowning in my thoughts I heard a loud shout.

"Aika Haruno pay attention!"

"Mweep!" I cried out in surprise. 'Eh? What's going on? Is he here yet? Is it the Hokage here? Did he already start his speech?' I quickly looked around to see who shouted my name and...In front of me was Iruka...I probably should have expected that'

"Aika," Iruka said in a disappointed tone "Just listen to what our guest speaker is going to say when he gets here okay?"

I quickly nodded my head. After waiting for 5-15 minutes our important surprise guest came. Draped in a white and red robe with his signature Hokage's hat, the strongest shinobi of Konohagakure nicknamed "The Professor" Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly appeared in front of the class.

"Who's that?" A curious and confused child asked.

"That is Konoha's most powerful shinobi. Our leader and protector. He is the one with the admiration and respect of the entire village. He is Konoha's one and Hokage, " Iruka replied passionately.

Suddenly I remembered the Uchiha's, Danzo, Orochimaru, and many other incidents caused by Hiruzen.

After listening to Iruka's passionate answer the entire class gasped and looked at the senile old man. I heard a surprisingly loud gasp from Naruto. 'Maybe he gets his dream of being Hokage from this event?'

Hiruzen laughed out loud. "No need for such praise Iruka I'm just an old man wishing to pass down the will of fire to the young ones" 'Oh I get it! By the will of fire, it means to manipulate the young ones'

Hiruzen then began his incredibly touching speech about why we defend the village, the will of fire, the entire village is family, and some other things to brainwash the children. Of course, I listened but it kind of entered one ear and left the other so...I didn't pay attention though it looked like I did.

It's a neat skill I picked up in my past life. Useful for school assemblies but not much else. Once Hiruzen was finished with his surprisingly long speech we returned to our classroom and went about our day normally. Well, there was something else new that happened. Naruto was shouting "I'm going to be the next Hokage''

'It looks like everything is going well,'' I thought while walking home with Sakura.

If only I knew what was going to happen tomorrow I wouldn't have been so carefree
