Chapter 9: Super Saiyan Transformation

-At capsule corp-

After Vegeta ate his food, he went to the bathroom and took a shower. After sometime he wear his usual battle clothes and he thought:

Vegeta: "Hmm, I think it should be time to teach Raditz and Nappa how to transform into a super saiyan. They should have enough S-cells in them to be able to transform."

After 3 days since he arrived on earth, he can now stand on the gravity chamber with x300 earth's gravity while he activated the gravity magic at maxed, with a total of x18,000 earth's gravity.

Their power levels now are:

Vegeta = 690,000,000(PL)

Raditz = 27,200,000(PL)

Nappa = 21,500,000(PL)

Vegeta then calls Nappa and Raditz to come to the capsule corp telepathically with the use of his magic. Later, they arrived in the capsule corp. Then Vegeta asked them:

Vegeta: "Do you have anything else to do today?"

Nappa: "Not really, it's my day off today so I'm free."

Raditz: "Today is our rest day since we just finished our game yesterday, so I'm also free."

Vegeta: "That's great. Follow me, I will show you something."

Vegeta then flew off towards a barren land. Nappa and Raditz looked at each other, they were curious of what Vegeta was gonna show them so they followed him.

Later, all three of them arrive at the barren wasteland.

Raditz couldn't wait so he asked:

Raditz: "So, what are you gonna show to us?"

Vegeta: "Haha, couldn't wait are you. Very well, prepare yourself for what I'm about to show you."

Vegeta then began to shout:

Vegeta: "Ahhhhhhhh!"

Vegeta's hair and eyebrows turned yellow, while his eyes turned green. Then a golden aura erupted out of his body giving everyone the feeling of being overwhelmed.

For the first time, Nappa and Raditz saw their prince in full power. Because of the power Vegeta was leaking, they couldn't stand their ground and were sent flying. All the people on earth who can sense ki felt Vegeta's power and fell to their butt, they feel like an ant in front of a mountain.

With Vegeta's base power of 690,000,000 and combined with his mastered super saiyan, his power level skyrocketed to 200 and 7 billion. Vegeta then stopped leaking out his ki and contained it to his body to give the other saiyans some breathing.

This time, Nappa asks while a sweat drips from the side of his head:

Nappa: "V-vegeta, w-what was that? Your power level, it's astonishing. I couldn't even imagine how high it is."

Vegeta then reply with a smirk:

Vegeta: "Hahahaha! This is the form I dreamed of since I was a child, this is Super Vegeta! The legendary transformation that you thought was only a myth, a super saiyan."

Raditz: "W-what?! Like the one in the legend?! You really became a super saiyan that we all thought was just a myth! Hahaha! You're really a genius, Vegeta!"

Vegeta: "You're the only one who thought it was just a myth, but not me. Anyway, I show this form to you guys since I think it's time for you to learn this."

The two saiyans were surprised to learn that they can also achieve this legendary transformation.

Nappa: "What? You mean we can also become super saiyan?"

Vegeta: "It's not that hard to transform, I'm sure you already have enough S-cells. With enough training and power level, it will not take too much time for you guys to transform."

The two saiyans were excited, then Vegeta looked at them with serious face and continue:

Vegeta: "Now then, let's begin."

Without them knowing, Vegeta cast magic on them and put them on a strong illusion.

Vegeta developed this magic for the time like this. He got this idea from the genjutsu on Naruto. He fused some of his ki and mana to replicate chakra, but it's much weaker than the original. By fusing the two energies, he used the mana to freely manipulate the fused energy to control what's inside the illusion and he used the ki to disrupt his target's ki to avoid any disturbance to the fused energy that will make them break the illusion because the fused energy is very fragile. Since it's Dragonball universe not Narutoverse, anyone can escape this technique by suddenly suppressing then bursting out the ki inside their body even if they are so many times weaker than the caster. But it's enough to trigger a strong emotion to the two saiyans since they're not aware of such a technique.

Vegeta used this technique just like how Itachi uses tsukuyomi to open Sasuke's sharingan. But in this case, to make the two of them transform to super saiyan.

-Inside the illusion-

Inside the illusion, Vegeta placed the two of them at the time before Frieza called all the saiyans to come back to their planet. He also blocked some of their memories to make them forget about what happened and what will happen.

This time, the Vegeta inside the illusion didn't ignore Frieza's order so they all went back to Planet Vegeta with Nappa and Raditz.

On their way before they could arrive to their planet, they saw a large sphere made of lava was about to collide with their planet coming from one of the spaceships floating outside their planet's atmosphere, so they stopped their space pods in the middle of the space. Someone was trying to stop the sphere from colliding with their planet but shortly he was overpowered. Then, they saw their planet was obliterated before their very eyes.

Only one thing comes to the mind of Nappa and Raditz, FRIEZA!

Then both of them shouted at the same time:

Nappa/Raditz: "FRIEZAAAA!!"

Though Vegeta temporarily blocked some of their memories, he can't block someone's feelings. Even if they don't have someone who they can call loved ones, in their stay on earth it made them much softer. That's why it makes them so angry, especially when they witness their own planet full of their own people obliterated in front of them.

-Outside the illusion-

Vegeta was staring at the two saiyans in front of him waiting for something. He was thinking if the illusion was enough to make the two of them very angry.

Although there are so many happenings inside the illusion, on the outside they are still standing with blank eyes.

Suddenly, a yellow aura erupted from the two of them and they both broke the illusion.

Then the two of them shouted at the same time:

Nappa/Raditz: "FRIEZAAAA!!"

Raditz hair and eyebrows continue to change colors back and forth from black to yellow, then it's stopped to yellow. At the same time, his eyes also continued to change colors back and forth from black to green until it stopped to green.

On the other hand, Nappa's mustache and eyebrows continued to change colors back and forth from black to yellow, then it stopped to yellow. At the same time, his eyes also continued to change colors back and forth from black to green until it stopped to green.

After their transformation, they realized that it's just an illusion and now they're back to reality. When they looked at each other they were shocked to see that they really became a super saiyan. They can feel their power multiplied by x50.

Their power level when they transformed:

(Mastered Super Saiyan)Vegeta = 207,000,000,000(PL)

(Super Saiyan) Raditz = 1,360,000,000(PL)

(Super Saiyan)Nappa = 1,075,000,000(PL)

When the two of them felt that their stamina was being drained super fast, they immediately released their transformation. They looked so exhausted just by transforming.

Then Vegeta also undid his transformation and congratulate them:

Vegeta: "Congratulations. Just now you've become a super saiyan. How does it feel?"

Raditz: "It feels like I can beat Frieza with just one blow."

Vegeta: "Well, don't be so arrogant just because you become a super saiyan now. There are still so many people in the universe that are much stronger than us."

Nappa: "I felt so powerful, but at the same time it also drained my stamina rapidly."

Vegeta: "It's only natural since it's your first time transforming to that. But don't worry, the drainage will be gone once you master it."

This time, Raditz ask:

Raditz: "So how will we be able to transform again, do we need to be angered again or something?"

Vegeta: "No need for that. Since you've already unlocked it, it will be easier next time. You just need to focus your ki at the back of your spine between your shoulder blades and make it tingle. Now try it."

Nappa and Raditz nodded their heads and began to focus their ki at their back between their shoulder blades. The next moment they transformed again to super saiyan then undid again.

Raditz: "Well, that was easier."

Vegeta: "To master your transformation you just need to try and hold your transformation for the whole day and night even if you're sleeping till you feel like the drainage is gone, you will continue doing so. That's all, you can leave now."

Vegeta then remember something:

Vegeta: "Oh, wait you two. Change of plan. Raditz, wait after a year then you can meet Kakarot since his body should be mature enough at that time to endure a tough training. Since we are already so powerful we will be enough to protect this planet and its inhabitants, but it wouldn't hurt us if we add some more people in our group. No need to test him. You can do whatever you want with him after a year."

Raditz was very happy when he heard Vegeta. He's happy since he wouldn't need to wait another decade to meet his one and only family left in this world.

Although Vegeta at first wants to wait till the saiyan saga to meet with Goku to mold his character to what it should be in the series. But he didn't think that his own growth rate would be so massive in just a few years, if this continues then he wouldn't need to worry about any future threats. With his other saiyan companions, it should be enough to ensure their win in the tournament of power. Not to mention Brolly, if he was able to get Brolly before the tournament, then there's no need to worry about losing to anyone.

In the series of dragon ball, Vegeta was able to conclude that all saiyans have limitless potential, but it depends on them if they will be able to break their bottleneck and how fast they can grow. If you don't have what it needs to break your bottleneck, then say goodbye to your potential.

Then after that, all three of them left the barren wasteland.
