1 Chapter 1 How It All Happened ( Part 1)

She walked into the drawing room, her eyes clouded in confusion.

"Princess Everleigh, I am madame Adelia your governess." The woman bowed as a sign of respect to the fourth princess of the kingdom of Auxataria.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Same to you." Lei curtsied a little wobbly almost tripping on her own feet.

Everleigh walked into the classroom with her head lowered as she took a sit at the front of the class, away from the bullies who had marked their 'territory' at the back.

The teacher walked in and started the math lesson immediately. When the teacher had her back turned to the class, one of the bullies decided to pick on her by throwing something at her head.

Feeling something was thrown at her, she touched the back of her head and removed the thing from her hair only to see a recently chewed bubble gum with too much saliva on it.

She scrunched her face in disgust. Just when she was about to throw it away the teacher turned and her eyes fell on Lei.

"Chewing gum in my class I see." The woman said glaring at her. "And that too in a disgusting manner."

"Ma'am, I... It's not what it looks like."

"Detention for you young lady."

"But..."

"No buts!"

The class snickered at the words of the short fat teacher.

"She said butts."

"Looks like dorka girl just got detention."

"For the first time in history."

She could hear their whispers but chose to ignore it like she always does.

The bell rang for lunch break. She was walking to one of the tables at the cafeteria when she tripped on someone's leg, landing face first in her plate of spaghetti.

Lei heard the loud laughter that erupted in the canteen as she stood up and left heading to the washroom.

She was an easy target to them and she knew that, but what made her situation even more pathetic, was that she had a crush on Henry the leader of the bullies.

Lei could feel tears running down her cheeks and she quickly splashed water on her face.

By the time she left the washroom, the bell for the next class had already been rung. She ran as fast as she could to the class to avoid missing the attendance calling.
