- Two days later -

In these two days, I have managed to discover some information, Hydra is made up of six branches or six heads, as they usually call it.

This tells me that the hydra has probably been defeated before and may even be a trick by Hydra to secretly expand.

My modified car roared its way to site H-009 aka Dr.geist's base.

"Sir, if I may ask, why do you go to that place? Everyone tends to avoid that place." Heimlich said as he drove.

"Don't worry about it, I'm just curious." said Schmidt, unlike some leads who just get memories, I on the other hand, also get their experience and emotions from each event, I mean, even when you watch a movie, you get those emotions.

"In that case, sir, why not visit Baron Strucker." Heimlich said.

"Strucker?" I asked a little surprised, this is a big boss in the future if I can bring him from my side...

"Yes, a year ago he left the academy founded by Hydra and is researching mutations and strange people with superpowers." Heimlich said in a data dump.

Mutants are actually a thing in this universe, but there aren't many of them and the general public is still unaware of them.

The soldiers welcomed me enthusiastically, but, this is a professional organization, so they quickly used many devices to thoroughly search the car and verify my identity.

The car roared and entered the premises.

There are many large and small buildings, and there are many spaces for training troops, but the most striking thing is the huge dome-shaped building in the center of the facility.

The car entered the garage and moved for a few minutes until it reached the heart of the building.

I got out of the car and went to the elevator, I got on the elevator with Heimlich following me, I hit the top floor, considering it's a dome, it will be the top center, quite adequate.

The elevator went up and we got out, right in front of us is a man in a rather formal suit bowing.

"Welcome, supreme leader." said the guy with a look of a British butler.

"Schatten, Schatten Künstler, nice to meet you." Schatten said with a slight bow.

"Follow me, Dr.geist is waiting for you." Schatten said pointing the way.

"Sure, lead the way." I said and followed him.

We went through many places, passageways, rooms, and more passageways.

Finally, we arrive in front of a room, on the door it says Achtung, Experiment laufen, indicating that experiments are being carried out.

Schatten opened the door and gave us a surprising or strange sight...

In front of me, there are all kinds of people, from Africans to Americans, even Asians, they are all tied up in chairs with strong ties.

In their heads, there are some great machines, but there are also others to whom they are... singing? light chants can be heard.

But the most striking is a scientist with a big beard, it seems that he is... sticking something into someone's head...

"Please follow me." Schatten said and led us to Dr. Geist.

Right at that moment, dr.geist, who is currently conducting a strange experiment, shouted with excitement.

"With this, some will say that you can solve problems, like schizophrenia, bipolarity, and those diseases, but, stop me, it means the beginning of human cloning and even better brainwashing." said Dr. Prüfen enthusiastically.

"Mn, I like the idea, if you need support, just tell me." I said quietly, I remember this from a book I read, in a previous life, it was discovered in 2012, it's incredible to think that it could have been created in 1942.

"Oh right, let's talk in private." Johann said as he looked at the many people around.

"..Of course." said dr.geist and led us into a room with many strange things and collections of the human body, with a heavy emphasis on the brain, we took a seat, facing each other on two sofas, with Heimlich and Schatten facing each other.

"The real reason I'm here is…loyalty." I said in a low tone.

"Loyalty? You know I'm loyal." said Dr.geist slightly surprised and... a little offended?

"Haha, I know, I know, I mean my 'common' subordinates. I emphasized.

In reality, the members of Hydra are not loyal to the heads, instead, they are loyal to Hydra itself, to the organization, so if a leader is not beneficial to the organization, he should be removed.

And therein lies my problem, while that may be beneficial to Hydra, it's not beneficial to me.

"Johann, you know that this was a decision made unanimously by all heads, right?" Dr. Geist said.

Turning to Schatten, who is currently holding a knife to my neck, and another pointing at Heimlich who is also holding a knife to Schatten's neck, it's a comedic scene if we forget the guy in a science coat with a knife to his neck.

Schatten didn't drop his knife, but he didn't attack either.

Getting up slowly as Schatten's knife followed me, I said. "Don't bother, you can't kill me." I said looking Schatten straight in the eye like a beast waiting to be tamed.

"Perhaps." Schatten said looking at me with his cold eyes.

"Mm, okay, what do you think, join me, this guy is just a clown, he is of no use to the organization, instead, I have big plans for her." said.

"..."

"It's okay." Schatten said after thinking about it for a minute and nimbly put his knife away.

"It's okay." I said and looked at Heimlich for him to put the knife away.

Relaxing and taking a breath, I said. "Heimlich, I'll leave it to you." I said looking at dr.geist or at least his body.

Then I turned to Schatten and said. "Help me take control of the base and prove your loyalty.

"Of course, Supreme Leader." Schatten said leaning in, he seems like a smart guy.

"Hmm, do you know how to recreate the experiment that dr.geist was doing?" I asked a little worried about missing such an opportunity.

"...Actually, the dr.geist is just a phony, the research was done by Dr.Wunder, the Dr.geist took it as his own a week ago and pretended to recreate it to blatantly impress you and get funds." said Schatten revealing the now dead dr.geist.

"Well, we can start with him." I said and we started planning to take the base.
