Chapter 3

After the fiasco at the practical examination I decided it was time to go to the hunters association to sign up. I wore a black hoody as well as a face mask like kakashi. I was tempted to troll people but I decided not to because I really needed the job.

Once I arrived plot armour kicked in and I joined the city hunters. Once that's over we head to the school. Thankfully I checked in with Xin xia and made sure stayed away from school. When we arrived I headed to the cafeteria and waited. Once I saw the rat I called for back up while dodging the rats laser eyes. Once the cavalery arrived plot kicked in which lead me to intervene to save the water mages life. We finished up I got payed and head back to the dorms. For the next few months I started to expand my arsenal. I managed to learn how to make a firewall, fire ropes which is based off of irohs technique from avatar: the last airbender, and how to enhance my physical strikes using fire on my body parts. I also increased the number of orbs I can make each finger for my lightning as well as finished making pseudo finished chidori as my resistance isn't that high to take the backlash. My lightning stardust is now close to breaking through while my fire is 3/4 the way there. I was also in finding my sword. I managed to find a run down shop which sells antiques. I found a worn out sword on I table and touched it. I then felt a mark in my mind. I knew the swords bonded to me so I bought it and left. I then headed towards the forest and proceed to add lightning to it. It worked and it's cutting power is insane. I took a closer look at it. I was shocked. It became clean and it's pure black blade but the best part was that it looks like Ichigos Mugetsu. So that's what I named it Mugetsu.

Time skip

After a couple more months Zhoumin came and asked to help her with her problem. I agreed as this is not a problem for me. My lightning element is now at level 3 as well as my fire element. At this stage I managed to make an outline on how to replicate Killuas Godspeed. It's taking time but I will get there.

Anyway we arrive at the scene and fast forward until we see me taking the soul of the wolf we drank some of the underground holy water. Yes I did follow the plot as I really wanted the soul and also because I didn't want expose that I have the lightning element.

Once that's finished I make a plan to start preparing for the battle between me and Yu ang. My plan is to make fire element close to break through to mid rank. Same for my lightning element.once I break through I will use the louch and underground holy spring to help me in mastering the 49 stars for both elements if possible if not I will try to master the lightning element. I highly doubt that Ms Tangyue will give me the star atlas books as i don't have that teacher student relationship like in the novel so I'll have to improvise.

Time skip 2 weeks before graduation.

It seems that the match is being held 2 weeks before graduation and here I am standing in front of a boy who has the Chinese syndrome of acting like an arrogant prick.Welp here goes nothing.

Yu ang: It's best if you back out now. you stand no chance against me. If you bow down maybe I'll let your father keep his job.

See. The syndrome kicked in.

Mo Fan: ....

Yu ang: already giving up.

Mo Fan: Sigh. Just start the fight.

Invigulator: Begin

Immediately he used 2nd level beginner ice spell to freeze the entire area. To protect myself I made a robe made of 1st level fire. Then I attacked by faking 2nd stage with third stage to surprise him and that did the trick as he flew backwards into the wall from the force. He got up and showed all the precious equipment so while he was in a monologue I got in close by using burst( Bakugou abilty) to land a solid punch to his nose. I then proceed to beat him using combos while enhancing to punches and kicks with fire while using firewall to make unable to escape and fire whips to bring him back to me to get punched. I ended up breaking his arm and then slamming is face into the ground repeatingly. His face is no longer readable.

Silence filled the area as no one spoke until the instructor stated that I won. I then walked of the stage. I took a look around and saw the different faces especially the face of Mu Zhouyan I feel satisfied with my performance.

I looked over to see Mu Ningxue who had a face of happiness for a few seconds. I guess she really didn't I could win after our talk.

flashback

I stood at our usual meeting when we were younger plot kicks and here she is telling me to back out for my own safety. I don't know whither to be insulted or take it as she still cares for me.

Mo Fan: Sigh. Just stop. listen do you think I am the same person all those years ago. I stoped and moved on so should you Ms Xue.

I then passed her and left.

Mu Ningxue pov

I used love a boy named Mo Fan. After an incident and other things we haven't talked in ages. when I saw his potential at the entrance exam I was stunned and happy for him. My father wanted him to join th Mu clan but he refused. After he gets picked to represent the school for the fight for the underground holy spring. I come to try and stop him.

Mo Fan: Sigh. Just stop. listen do you think I am the person all those years ago. I stoped and moved on so should you Ms Xue.

then he proceeded to walk away. He was right this isn't like before and with what he said it can't go back to that point.

End of flashback

Mo Fan pov

As I was going to leave I was intercepted by Mu Ningxue.

Mo Fan: Sigh. Since I'm going to college after graduation we can have a rematch their and maybe start over from the beginning.

I looked at her face. She was shocked.

Mu Ningxue: Alright. but when we meet we will have a fight to see whose better.

Mo Fan: that's fine.

We both smile at each other and shake hands.

I then proceed to head home to prepare for the underground holy spring.
