It was now the time for the exam. The plot mostly stayed the same until came to my turn. Like before the plot stayed the same so mu bai ended up placing a black stone behind the ball. Once I went up to it I decided to switch things up and start from a C grade before moving to a B and then ending at an A. Most of the audiences jaws had dropped while others were complaining and murmuring. Mu Bai looked he had seen a ghost and is now questioning his meaning in life.

Like cannon Ms tangyue intervened and I got to go at it again which naturally came out as an S. For the practical I decided to switch things up and started to condense my flame in my so when it hits the dummy it will explode. Once finished silence roamed the hall as people were frozen from shock. I got impatient so asked the instructors for my score and I got the straight As.

Mu Zhouyan again decided to spit out BS but I kept my cool and declined him before walking back. Thankfully the shock of being rejected shut him up to allow me to go back to my seat and the exam came to an end with the results posted. I came in first that's all that matters.

Time skip

After the exam and getting settled into classes I was able to get the stardust cultivation tool and since I didn't insult the old fart I am to use it for the full time. I stuck to my plan and didn't allow the little roach to absorb the spirit. The next test with instructor Zhankong isn't until half a year later which allows me to go get some spirits.

Half a year later

The practical examination is happening tommorow so I grinded my skill until I was ready. I managed to get a few souls from one eyed woods from the forest using the combination of paralysis and the follow up of slicing it's neck with a knife coated in lightning. With it I managed to get my fire element to the second stage. My lightning element is half way through level 2 so it's not close breaking through just yet.I also finished my version of the spirit gun using lightning and tested on a beast it went straight through its head killing it and the little louch pendant absorbed the spirit.

As we arrive at the summit of the mountain we are greeted by instructor Zhangkong who explains the test. We then get in our groups and head out.

After walking a good we finally arrived at the cave entrance and I allowed the plot to play out. The spirit wolf went out of control so I used beginner stage 2 spell and allowed the wolf to follow me into the cave. I propelled myself by using my fire to act like propulsion like Bakugou from mha except I send out continuous streams of fire.

Once I reach the end of the cave into a new room I use my lightning spell to paralysis and use the stalagtite to kill it like in the plot. Soon after Zhangkong and the teachers enter and see the wolf killed. By the end of the day I managed to beat the wolf and get my defence equipment. I good day indeed.
