"Your're being a worrywart she is alive and well you can even call her after you spill the beans" his casual way of speaking made Damon more terrifying

"If I know she's safe then I'll talk otherwise you can just kill me" Jeremy said with resolution knowing Damon probably wouldn't kill him without knowing the detail

"Fine" he pointed at Jeremy's phone on the table

Jeremy picked up his phone calling Caroline again only feeling relieved when she picked up

"Hey Jeremy" she responded weakly

"Ok I may have accidentally threw her against the wall when I left" Damon confessed

"Did he do anything to you" he asked

"No Jeremy he bit me in the neck after lying about being my mom's friend so that I would invite him in. Then you called and im ok now" Caroline summarized quickly

"I think you got your lore wrong thats for werewolves" Damon laughed that the guy who seemed to know stuff about the tomb vampires didn't even know a silver knife can't kill vampires

'Upgrading Tasty Blood was definitely a worthwhile gamble' he thought to himself as he looked down at Damon's body who was in great agony

Jeremy snapped off the piece of a wooden chair and stabbed Damon in the stomach with it

"Now its my turn to be asking the question" he looked at the weakened vampire with cold eyes

"What makes you think I'll tell you crap" he responded

"Maybe the fact you would ditch your friend Enzo just to live and when you couldn't bare the guilt you turned off you humanity like a coward" Jeremy pressed the stake deeper into his stomach

"And I would do it again" Damon hearing this felt nothing towards Enzo but groaned in pain as the stake was stabbed into his stomach

"All I want to know is why did you target Caroline and after you tell me I want you to leave town and never come back or I'll kill you" Jeremy threatened

"Fine, I needed someone who was close with Elena but also since she was the sheriff's daughter. Also she was just waiting to get fucked and fed with such a face like hers" Damon replied honestly in a playful tone

Jeremy pulled out the stake

"Now get up and leave" he spoke coldly

Damon stood up struggling to move due to the vervain in his system

"Well I hope to never meet you again" Damon said walking to the door

A sudden tear sound was heard as Damon looked down to see his heart pierced by the wooden stake

"For such a smart guy its like you forgot that once you invite a vampire in, the safest way is to kill that vampire since I don't trust you and trusting people like you to leave is the same as just shooting myself in the head" Jeremy said

"This must be how all your victims felts Damon when you pretended to let them live just to kill them. I can see why you do it" Jeremy saw Damon's skin begin to slowly crack

"Damn you Gilbert" Damon replied in a villainous tone saying a villain line before he perished

Jeremy knew his actions would deeply affect the timeline but he felt it was needed

"Caroline how are you?" Jeremy asked her

"Better now, thanks for luring him away I don't know what would have happened if you didn't. I won't ask you how you knew everything until you're ready to tell me" She replied having been patched up by the nurses

"After we get discharged I'll tell you everything" Jeremy said though he was planning to leave some finer detail out

"JER are you alright" Elena pushed through the door rushing over to him

Elena ran over to him giving Jeremy a hug

"I'm fine, nothing serious got broken" Jeremy gave her a hug his neck was already bandaged up

"Promise me you won't leave too" Elena begged him as tears continued to stream from her face

"I told you before that I'm not going anywhere" he comforted her

"So I heard that you killed someone by accident, I hope you aren't too worried since you were just defending yourself" Elena told him thinking that Jeremy was suffering from killing a person

"I'll try but I still need some space so I can process what happened" Jeremy bid Elena goodbye so he could have some peace
