Jeremy joined the rest of the people lying on the ground just waiting for the mugging to get done with
Jeremy would have tried to fight the robbers which would have been easy but someone getting caught in the crossfirebwas something he didn't want to risk
"Hey Jeremy" he looked beside him to see Stefan whispering to him
He knew Stefan didn't want to risk being revealed as a vampire by using his extreme speeds infront of the councel
"Everyone put their phones and jewelry in the bag" one of the robbers said
Sheriff Forbes was shot in the stomach and her weapon was taken and she was thrown to where the rest of the hostages were kept
"Mom" Caroline screamed crawling up to her mother to check if she was okay
"You shut up" one of the men shouted frantically shaking, he pointed his gun at Caroline
"Stefan I have a plan" Jeremy muttered under his breath but Stefan have him a nod showing he understood the plan
Jeremy saw from the side that something was off about the man and it just didn't make sense why a bunch nobodies who didn't appear in the show would arrive to rob the place even bypassing securities
Jeremy went over to Caroline hushing her up
"Hey sir she'll be quiet I just need you to call an ambulance" Jeremy spoke up pleading with the robber
"Not until everyone puts their wallets and valuables in the bag" the same man replied
The lights were suddenly turned off leaving everyone in the dark which was when Jeremy grabbed a nearby gunman by snapped his neck while Stefan immobilized the other robbers by using guy punched and throwing them at the wall
Jeremy wasn't surprised that Stefan didn't go for the killing strikes since he was nice to actually kill unless he had to
It was quick and after a few seconds the lights turned back on again while the robbers were all found unconscious one of them dead
"Ahhh" someone screamed
The ambulance and more police arrived shortly after arresting the men that were still alive and sheriff Forbes was brought in the ambulance
Caroline was worried about her mother and went to visit her in the hospital
Jeremy had taken her home after the doctors told her that the Liz was not shot in any vital organ and would make a fast recovery
"Care it's time I tell you everything about the other day" Jeremy said wanting to distract her from worrying about her mother along with the fact she should be safer not kept out of the dark
"Okay I'll hear you out" she sat at her dinner table looking curious at Jeremy since what exactly happened with the man that attacked her who seemed to have super human strength but she was more curious how was Jeremy connected to all of this
"So what you met was a vampire" he said bluntly
"Haha a vampire, that just doesn't sound possible" she laughed thinking he was joking since just the concept of a vampire didn't seem realistic
"I understand this seems ridiculous but I can show you evidence of this or atleast evidence of the supernatural

"So what is your so called evidence" Caroline asked thinking that her boyfriend might have gone insane believing that Damon was most likely on steroids or something
Jeremy spread out his palm and suddenly a ring appeared out of nowhere
"Where did the ring come out of. Is it a hologram or something" She asked shocked
"Nope" Jeremy tossed the ring to her and she could feel it was real making her baffled
"How?" she didn't see him make any movements with his hands like how a magician would use deception and fancy gestures to distract people
"That man you met was a vampire and I know it's still hard to believe but he targeted you intending to compel you to do disgusting things" Jeremy said
"Compel? As in mind control?"
"Yeah at any time did he look into your eyes and give you a command"
"He did now that you mention it, but then why did it not work" His answer only caused more question Caroline wondering why the compulsion didn't work on her
"Well you see the bracelet you're wearing is made of a material that harms vampire's and stops compulsion"
"I still have a lot of question? How do you know all of this and does Elena know too"
"Vampire and witches is knowledge that was pass down from me by my Uncle John and it's been passed down from generation to generation except they teach us to hate vampires and no Elena doesn't know anything though she is getting into the pants of one"
"You mean Stefan is a vampire? Then why don't you try to kill him if his a vampire and all you're taught is to hate them"
"Well you see I don't care much about what vampires and out of anyone Stefan is probably nicer and safer than most humans"
"Okay.." Caroline felt her head about to explode with all this new information inside her brain
"Care I have a favor to ask you" Jeremy spoke in a soft tone
"What is it I guess I'll try to see what this favour is"
"I want you to become a vampire" he said seriously knowing that this was the safest way for her to become strong enough to protect herself
"I don't know but would you still love me if I became a bloodsucking creature and I don't know enough about them to make a decision"
"Well there isn't much to need to know besides that they burn in the sunlight, need to drink blood preferably human, wood hurts them and getting staked in the heart will kill you and do will decapitation, you will also have to be invited into homes by their owners but in return you gain unimaginable strength, speed and stamina, you can compel others and you can also turn off you humanity. Finally Caroline no matter what I will always love you"
"That sounds good but I rather bask in the sunlight and honestly I don't think I mind drinking human blood but it would be weird"

In Jeremy's hand he summoned a small vial of red substance
"Drinking this will give you the power to protect yourself and I'm offering you thid to protect yourself since only more vampires will appear"
Caroline didn't know what to do since she trusted Jeremy a lot and genuinely loved him but she didn't know was she ready for immortality
"Are you a vampire Jer?"
"No I'm not" he replied honestly
"Then don't you need it to protect yourself instead of using it on me"
"I'm not a ordinary human I possess strength greater than all humans and also I want you to have it since I love you and don't want you to get hurt or worst dead" Jeremy said honestly just leaving the part about how he actually can drink it
"Will drinking it hurt me or change the way I look" she asked starting to become convinced
"No to both in fact you will probably be even more pretty afterwards not that you aren't beautiful right now"
"Will I not grow up, im only 17 and I'm just not sure if I want to be stuck at 17 forever"
"Hey Caroline, I'm begging you to drink tge serum since it's the only way I can do to make sure you cab protect yourself so please" Jeremy resorted to begging
Seeing how desperate he was she gave a nod before taking the serum and gulping it down
"So what happens now" she said realizing she had just impulsively drank the serum and now started to panic
"We wait now until it takes effect of you but it's going to be safer for us to drive somewhere in the forest or near a cemetery since you won't be able to stay here until Liz invites you in"
"Okkayy" Caroline said feeling dizzy before convulsing and dropped dead onto the table
Jeremy went over to her to feel her pulse to find she had already died and sighed in relief that he didn't have to snap her neck to kill her
Jeremy gently brought her body to her car and drove away into the forest
