4 Planet Namek
Rejoining everyone on the lookout Bulma left them a message that it would take her dad and her 2 weeks to complete the pods. They were making 2 spaceships. One for Goku and Gohan to train in and one for her and Krillin. While Krillin and she had not originally planned to join them, Bulma could not resist the urge to visit another planet and forced Krillin to join her.
The next 2 weeks flew by as Gohan spent that time with Goku and Chi-Chi. While not so much with Chi-Chi during the time spent together, Gohan truly began to see them as his family. He would like Chi-Chi more if she was not so much of a nag and listened to others.

"GOKU YOU MAKE SURE TO BRING MY BABY BACK SAFELY!" Chi-Chi
"Don't worry Chi-chi if anything Gohan will be the one protecting me" Goku says boarding the spaceship
"By mom see you when we get back" Gohan
With the door sealing behind them a giant screen appears before them
"Now Goku, Gohan we pulled out all the stops on this ship. It has a gravity machine that can raise the gravity to 150x earth's gravity. My father could originally only get it to 100 but thanks to the beautiful genius known as me I managed to get it up to 150. Let me know how it works when we get back and I may be able to get the force of gravity stronger. Anyways as long as you press that green button you will follow behind Krillin and me. We should be arriving in Namek in roughly 3 weeks. We originally could have gotten there faster but due to having to make 2 ships we were unable to make them as fast as I would have liked due to having to share parts." Bulma
"That is fine with me, gives me more training time with dad." Gohan says pressing the button
Putting their luggage below deck in the bedrooms Gohan and Goku begin training under the effects of increased gravity.
Using their training time to the maximum Gohan took close to no time at all to adapt to the increased gravity, and with the increased power level before their training by the end of the second week, the duo were able to operate normally in 150x gravity.
Arriving at Namek, Gohan's power level reached 600 thousand, and Goku's power level reached 500 thousand.

"It's a pretty planet." Bulma
"We are not here on vacation just yet. Let's go to the highest power level person on the planet and let them know" Krillin

"..... and that's why we are here" Krillin explains
"Come let me check that your intentions are pure, and should they be I will provide you with some assistance and unearth some of your buried potential." Guru
Placing his hand on Krillin's head, Guru begins to hum before a white energy begins to course through Krillin's body
"this power, I FEEL GREAT," Krillin says getting a laugh from everyone
"Alright, who is next" Guru
"I will pass, I prefer to get stronger on my own" Goku
"I will take you up on that, but you better watch out dad I'll end up a lot stronger than you after this" Gohan
With Guru placing his hand upon Gohan's head, the energy begins coursing through Gohan's body.
As Gohan feels his power increasing, the strange energy around the base of his tail begins to shake before the invisible barrier around it vanishes and assimilates into his ki flow. With a snapping sound only able to be heard by Gohan, a bestial roar escapes his mouth shocking everyone present. As Gohan's power begins to increase, so does the size of his body.
"Everyone get back I'm not sure how but he is transforming just like Vegeta did on earth" Goku
With nail and Krillin's assistance, everyone escapes elder Guru's house.
With Gohan transforming into the full great ape state, he releases a loud roar before a cacoon-like energy sphere. With the cacoon releases a light brighter than the sun. With the sheer power being released from Gohan's body, the planet begins to shake unable to withstand the constant output.
Regaining control of his body, Gohan begins to reel in control of his power so as to not do damage to the planet. Shocked at the sheer increase of his power he feels like he is 10 times as strong as he was prior to transforming. And then all at once, it donned on Gohan what was happening. The great ape state, he never untransformed from it he merely controlled it. As the dust settles his friends and the Namekians get a good look at Gohan.
"Gohan is that you, you look different" Goku
"What do you mean?" Gohan
"Your taller and buffer. Plus you have this wild aura about you now" Goku
"It must be from that transformation. Somehow it seems like I have gained complete control of the great ape form. So even though I am not in that form, I still am" Gohan
"Neat, wonder if I can learn to do that" Goku
"Probably not dad since you have lost your tail" Gohan

"Sire a power level of 5 million has been detected from Namek, how do you advise?" Henchman 1
"Proceed as normal. But just in case whoever that is can transform, contact cooler" Frieza
"Yes lord Frieza, right away sir" Henchman 2
With a subtle purple glow about Frieza's body "Tch, I did not want anyone else in the family to know about the dragon balls but something is telling me to be careful about going to Namek"
