What is Chakra II

The curriculum of the second year in the shinobi academy was almost entirely focused on the basics of Chakra and initial combat practices. Along with Chakra introduced to the academy style taijutsu.

By academy style taijutsu, I mean how to punch kick and defend or block an attack right way. Except from that there was nothing more. I didn't know why they were not even teaching the most basic ability of a shinobi to the future shinobis properly. Were they trying to make canon fodders ? Obviously no one is going to give the answer of that question on their own. And obviously I am not going to ask such a question to the teachers or any other person. So I secretly practiced what I remembered from my previous life about taikando and Karate. I was not some kind of world famous master in those arts but I had reached black belts in both of them. But obviously I never showed them to others are used them in any of my spars.

The other not working thing that occurred during the second year of my shinobi academy, was my gains on fuinjutsu material and notes meant for genins.

Apparently having a council woman as your mother came with many benefits. Although she hasn't gotten access to higher tier materials, but being able to access scrolls that are meant for genins was quite good in my book.

Those materials covered the most basic things about fuinjutsu, some theories about it's origins and some important rules of practicing the art.

While I worked on these things, I spent most of my time during the second year was to find out what is Chakra.

I did various experiments. Wrote down many theories.

We were taught our first ninjutsu during the end of the second year. It was transformation jutsu.

But this year I learnt a new lesson.

Following what others are saying is always not the best idea. Sometimes you have to experience something yourself to understand it better.

Chakra is not the mixture of physical and spiritual energy of one's body. Not at all ! It is more than just that. Chakra is a form of energy. That is true.

But it was more than just the mixture of yin and yang. Or it is better to say that, yin & yang are not exactly spiritual and physical energy.

For the entire second year, I practiced the chakra spinning exercise. And without doing any physical exercise, my body stayed in it's top condition. Even my muscles and bones were strengthening. If chakra would have been the mixture of physical and spiritual energy, then my reserves wouldn't have increased without doing any physical exercise.

Then there is the molding of chakra. Lee wasn't able to use any nin or genjutsu because he couldn't mold his chakra. But raw power up moves like The 8 gates worked just fine in his case. It took me an entire month to understand the concept of moulding Chakra and hand signs.

For example, transformation jutsu is just an illusion along with the coating of chakra around the user's body. But when someone like Naruto overload it with his Chakra, it turned into a solid transformation that can be used as an object in real time. The Jutsu was meant to create a layer of chakra around your body to appear someone else. That's why someone like me or any other normal shinobi can never transform into something that is not human in shape or something that is to small or too big from there size. But that wasn't a problem with Naruto. In canon he even transformed Gamabunta to nine tails with his powerful chakra. But after a month of hard work I found another way to achieve such a feat. The second way was Chakra control. It was the foundation of everything that concerns chakra. The concept was similar to energy efficiency and using the energy in a right way. All though I wasn't able to transfer anything different from the human shape, I managed to pull of a solid transformation of Iruka after practicing it for a while.

But then another question arised. Why was thinking about something or someone and visualise that form made us transform into that person, not something else ?

But unfortunately I wasn't able to find the answer to that question.

There was nothing extraordinary with the final test of the second year. It was a normal theory test along with transformation jutsu.

But finally before the summer vacation, we were told the true structure of the shinobi training program.

The actual training program ends in the third year. After that, you can chose to graduate or continue studying in the academy. There are extensive couses and the apprenticeship system for the final two years.

So one can try to graduate early. Or stay to further study.

That matter aside, I noticed something new. The Uchiha massacre that happened in the canon, didn't went exactly same this time. There were different other factors playing role.

Sasuke along with many non shinobi children were spared. But Itachi didn't spare any other people. Not even a genin. The Uchiha massacre happened, but I didn't knew whether the outcome was influenced by outside factor or some anomaly like me.

Ofcourse I haven't completely disregarded the idea of any other otherworldly persons like me.

But thinking about it too much won't solve any riddles.

So I decided to finally drop the mater.
