I looked at the ice spear that was impaled in my left arm. I managed to cut down most of the ice spears but a few managed to cut through my skin and one got my left arm, which I used to block an ice spear from piercing my stomach. It was a good thing that I have made my clothes resistance to cuts by using reinforcement seals. Maybe I should select a full body suit like those comic superheroes. Skin tight but easy to move. I decided to reconcider my choice of clothes in the field. While, I am not heavy hitter like Naruto or Sasuke, I should consider preparing for circumstances like these. Especially I have to prepare for the future chunin exams if I survive this.
The ice spears were very thin, long and pointy. But they were not that strong. Neji was the only one who didn't got impaled. His hands were bleeding. Probably from blocking or deflecting the ice Spears.
But Naruto was the worst. She also managed to deflect almost all of the ice Spears with his kunai knives.
But still he got pierced in his stomach and right leg with two ice spheres.
I pulled out the ice sphere from my arm and first stopped the flow of the blood by using
Haku stood mystic palm and then rusged towards Naruto. He was the one who needed most of the medical attention.
Haku took this chance to stand up. But before she could, she fell down again. Neji went towards her to deal with while I went towards Naruto.
But just as I reached him, I felt something off. Then suddenly a large killing intent was spread all across the area. It felt like I would be crushed under a mountain. The killing intent was not particularly aimed at me. But still I was suffocating. Then I noticed naruto's eyes. They were blood red with a black slit going through them.
I understood immediately. It was not other than nine tail's power.
Then Naruto grabbed both of the ice Spears and ripped them apart. Red Chakra started bubbling up from his body. It was so dense that it was visible to naked eye.
Unlike the popular believes, the Chakra of a tailed beast is not poisonous or evil. It is just full of dense life force. So much so that the body of a person who is not accustomed to it will grow cancer cell from remaining in contact with it for too long. It was so dance that a person's normal Chakra coils cannot take their pressure. That's why it is considered poisonous for normal person. But there are many ways to deal with it. First is controlling your Chakra to protect yourself and prevent the foreign Chakra from entering your body. The concept was similar to genjutsu and was proposed by the second Hokage Tobirama Senju. It was later confirmed by the third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen.
I have never practiced it. But there was a first time for everything. I was too close to Naruto so I wasn't able to dodge in time. So I crossed my arm in my defence and started to move my my Chakra through it in a rapid motion. My Chakra coils were already used to rapid movement of my Chakra so it felt natural to me.
But unlike what I expected, Naruto didn't go on a rampage. Although my protection kept me safe from his violent and dense Chakra, my guard was unnecessary. Naruto healed rapidly in front of my eyes. Like Wolverine from the Marvel comics, his wound in the stomach and thigh, got healed in a few seconds. Moments like these makes me jealous of both of my teammates. Both of them got a cheat code that I didn't. But complaining won't help anyone. So I should look for improving myself.
After getting healed, Naruto immediately launched at Haku.
Haku who was already struggling with Neji due to her head injuries given by me wasn't able to react and time. Naruto landed his punch on her cheak and sent her flying. Haku crashed through the ice dome and went outside. The eyes construct around us started to crumble.
'So this is the might of the nine tails. Kurama, the eldest among all the tailed beasts.'
All of us have tried to cut that ice dome before. But none of us managed to put a dent on it. Naruto's supercharged wind style great breakthrough didn't even manage to scrach it.
But now with his single punch he managed to break that ice dome by an indirect attack.
And I knew from the Chakra flow that Haku became unconscious a few seconds after she crashed into the ice dome.
This power was enviable. I shivered unconsciously when I thought about Naruto completely mastering this power. Now I am not watching an anime. So the real thing must be on a whole other level. Thinking about nine tails full power when he should be able to crush mountain with the whip of his tails was insane. I seriously need some more defensive jutsu for these kind of beasts. Even if Naruto is my teammate, there are eight others. And one is going to show up in the upcoming exams.
