Kisame vs Zabuza

"Yo Shark face long time no see !"

Zabuza greeted Kisame getting out of the carter she created by her drop kick.

"Zabuza, I see that your life as ever." Kisame greeted back. Back in their chunin days, Kisame prided himself for his chakra reserves. He has the amount of chakra that could rival their Jinjuriki. So he was given the title of tailless tailed beast. But when he faced Zabuza, aka kijin, who was 1 year younger than him, he lost. And it was not an ordinary loss either. He was defeated easily. At that time, kisame has mastered water nature transformation and knew quite an amount of A and B rank water jutsus.

At that time, Zabuza was just been promoted to a chunin. But she was quite and famous for her strength and ruthlessness during her Genin days. Thinking, that he should teach a lesson to the newbie, he challenged her.

But it was a bad idea, a very bad idea. But by the time Kisame realised, it was already too late. Kisame still remembered how hopeless he felt when Zabuza dropped the weights she was wearing on her wrists. It was a humiliating defeat for him.

After they gained there respective Ninja swords, Kisame thought about challenging her again. But then both of them we are sent to a S rank mission. Where he saw Zabuza cutting an entire mountain in half just with one single strike of her sword. After witnessing it, Kisame dropped the idea of challenging her and decided to master his sword first. But after that he couldn't challenge her again as Zabuza joined the rebel faction and he became a missing ninja.

But now after all these years he was seeing her again. This was going to be a legendary fight. A fight between two S ranked Swordsmen..... A swordsman and a swordswoman.

Kisame respected Zabuza's strength. So he decided to go all out from the start. But before he could begin Zabuza entered a conversation.

"You are in hurry to fight I see. But before we start our rematch I want to know something. Why are you here ?"

".... I thought you would say that you are going to kill me and take back Samehada with you." Kisame said to Zabuza.

Zabuza stuck her sword to the ground and leaned against it.

"Nah ! As long as you can satisfy me, I will let you go even if you get defeated. Just makes sure to give me a good fight. Samehada is yours. I have seen how close you two are. As a sentient sword, I don't want to hurt it. But I am more interested in your current status. We have no information about you after you went rouge. From that cloack of yours, did you join a cult or something ?"

Kisame relaxed as well.

"Well you can say that I joined a cult.

As per why I am here, let's say a fat pig hired me to kill a civilian, but that pig scammed me. So I am here to take care of it."

"Is that fat pig, by any chance, Gato ?" Zabuza asked casually.

"Yeah ! What are you going to do about it ?" Kisame said grinning.

Zabuza lifted her sword from the ground.

"You know what I will do."

In an instant both of them moved. Not even a milli second later, they clashed with each other in the middle of the forest creating a shock wave.

Itachi sighed when he heard the loud sound from the forest. Kisame has already started his fight. He looked at the impressive amount of goons gathered by Gato. Unfortunately they are all going to die. He noticed the apprentice of Zabuza moving silently in the shadows.

The bridge builder was doing his work while the team of hidden leaf positioned themselves in different parts of the bridge surrounding Tazuna.

The mist team was here to execute Gato. But not in the normal style of assassination. Their task was to present themselves as saviours from other Nation. That was the reason why Zabuza had chosen to attack Gato in this moment. When Gato would be looking like an unstoppable monster with that number of goons behind him, Zabuza and Haku will save the day.

After all for any civilian, five hundred goons are more terrifying than three genins and a Jonin.

While in reality Kakashi alone would be enough to take them all down.

But he has completely different plans in this situation.

I didn't know what the ominous feeling was, but I prepared myself.

Yesterday Kakashi sensei taught me a few defensive earth style jutsus. While I would have liked if he had taught me some sword skills, something was better than nothing. Kakashi during his early days as shinobi was very proficient with short sword. File my Chakra control was excellent and the effect of my blade was amazing to cut through any normal target, I lacked real life experience. I had visited genin library to master the short sword techniques and fighting style for genins. Thankfully, most of the taijutsu and kenjutsu scrolls were available for genins.

When it comes to short sword, Konoha has two style available. Flowing water and crushing rock. Flowing water was focused on smooth footwork, speed and continuous movement of blade. It has both offensive and defensive moves. While the Crushing rock has more power based attacks and focused purely on offence. Even with my chakra agumented strength, I choose the flowing river style as it suited my curvy body.

I have mastered most of its katas except for a few advanced one's. But even after that I knew that it won't be enough if I face an experienced shinobi.

I was positioned closest to Tazuna by Kakashi. A few hours before the lunch break, finally I noticed some movements. When I looked at Kakashi, I saw him looking towards the other end of the bridge.

'So it finally started.'
