"So you are a medic nin ?" Tenten was looking like a panda with her twin burns and food stuffed in her mouth. Obviously the girl has skipped the etiquet lessons in the academy or has completely ignored them.
But I didn't laughed at her because everyone has their own quirks.
"Yeah, kinda. But I am just a genin. So my skills are not that great." I told her.
"Everyone is just a genin here so don't worry about it." She assured me.
We had stopped to get our lunch before reaching the town. The town itself was not far away from the leaf village. Technically it is inside the land of fire. But this coastal town, is surrounded with barren mountains from all the sides. And because Kakashi was busy getting revenge on US he has not taught us about tree climbing yet. Although I knew it from my training in the hospital, and Naruto knew about it because of Hinata, Sasuke didn't.
Although it was really funny at first when Naruto lectured Sasuke about the benifits of having a girlfriend, it soon turned annoying with their cat fight.
But that matter aside Kakashi promised Sasuke to teach him tree climbing exercise once they got back from this mission. And we had to take a longer path around the mountains to reach the place.
There was another funny thing going on. Neji vs Naruto. Did I forget that in this world, Neji is a pervert, who liked to peek on girls with his byakugan ? If that's not all then he has some kind of enemity with Naruto for being the boyfriend of Hinata.
I forgot about the exact name but I remember seeing a movie where the characters of the Konoha nine was completely different. Maybe it's similar kind of situation.
But that matter aside it took us nearly two entire days to reach here. And we have still a few hours of running before we finally reached the town.
...
"So you are telling me that these boar like creatures came here and destroyed everything including some of your houses ?" Kakashi asked for tenth time just to confirm.
"Yes how many times I have to tell you ?" The town chief was annoyed at Kakashi. But when you consider the sight in front of you, you can't exactly blame Kakashi.
The foot prints were humongous. At least double the size of a regular elephant.
"And there are at least 7 of them ?" Kakashi asked again.
"Yes for the final time yes."
"Sigh... Looks like we have to see for ourselves."
...
During the night time we waited in a well hidden tower that we made earlier during the day. The general path which was used by the herd of boars, was covered with traps and seals made by us.
And true to the words of the chief, a herd of seven boars came in that path.
But the most deserve thing about those creatures were not there size. They were humongous alright. Atleast big as fully growned rhinos. But their feet were actually very large for their size. Like a big-foot of the boar species.
But I had to admit that the creatures were very intelligent. As soon as the first boar in the pack fell into a trap, the remaining once scattered throughout the field. Because of their big foot, they couldn't run very fast. But actually they didn't need to.
As soon as we landed on the ground to chase them I felt tremors. As if an earth quake is happening.
"They are unconsciously sending earth nature chakra to the ground through their feet !" Kakashi shouted. Then he through through some hand signs and slammed is palms to the ground. Immidiately the earth went soft all around us negating the effects of boar's stumping.
Guy was even faster. He reached in front of the boars while kicking a few of them towards us.
But Kakashi hadn't stopped. He continued to went through some more handsigns before rising earth walls all around the boars.
Both the jonins stopped after that and jumped over the huge earth wall.
"There are six boars. And there are six of you." He didn't need to tell anything more.
I simply beheaded the large boar nearest to me. With chakra scaple, my short sword went through it's neck like butter.
Naruto and Sasuke took two boars together. Naruto didn't have any powerfull attack technique. So his clones attacked two boars and restrained them. It's skin was too thick to cut with a normal kunai. So Sasuke decided to burn them with his fire style.
Which was a very bad idea. While their fur easily caught fire, the same can't be said for their body underneath.
As a result they became more wild and the fire spread through all the remaining boars. And we found ourselves in between five wildly running boars who were literally burning.
"You idiot who gave you the idea to burn them ?" Naruto was shouting at Sasuke when he is the one who asked for his help.
Dodging another attack from a burning boar, I chopped of one of it's legs, which sent it tumbling down towards another boar. Lee took down two of them while Neji and tenten managed to kill one.
...
"It took you longer than I expected." Kakashi said mockingly. Which was nothing but adding salt to the injuries of both Naruto and Sasuke.
So they started their cat fight again while pushing the blame to one another.
It became boring after a while. So I focused on my tasty meat instead. I had to admit that this mission is really tasty.
...
It has been a week since the pork-mission. And Kakashi has been training us seriously.
Well....as serious as he can get. He trained Sasuke to tree climbing and water walking. Although Naruto knew both of them, he had not mastered the water walking completely. So he also took the chance to master his basics. As per me. I mostly took care of Sasuke's injuries after his reckless failures of tree climbing technique.
Although I didn't want to help him, I helped him after he dislocated his arm from an odd fall.
It took me smacking on his head and a good lecture to teach him tree climbing.
As far as I understand, the Guy is not calm in things when it involves his brother. And somehow he has learnt to subconsciously involve his brother into his daily life.
No wonder his second encounter with Itachi made him easily broke his bonds with the original team seven.
There was only one other thing about Sasuke that made him different from his canon version.
Unlike the original one who doesn't give a shit anything that doesn't involve Itachi, our Sasuke showed interest with fair sex when he was not obsessed with Itachi.
I noticed it when I was helping him with the tree climbing exercise.
But that matter aside, one more thing happened in this week. I got promoted to junior assistant senior medic and got my licence on it.
...
AN: Yes it will be Sakura x Sasuke story. And you can already tell who is Naruto going with.
For your information, the story won't focus on romance. But completely upon Sakura. There will be lemon. But don't expect it any time soon. Not until Danzo's death.
