We stood in front of the same giant desk, Celdricks hands placed onto dark wood as he smiled at us. I was standing behind Chaaya as he stared at us. It has been a month since we cleared an S rank dungeon. I've been on all sorts of raids with Celdrick, We've fought dragons and zombies, ghosts and hordes of monsters together. It's been a while since I came to this world, in that time I've grown much more powerful. I've met people who have changed my entire perception of humans. The Golden Key accepted us. They fought with us and we grew to be friends. It's been a while since I've been sick at the sight of a human. I still don't particularly like them but I don't hate them anymore, it's something i haven't felt before. It's a nice feeling. There is no other way to describe it.

"I'm glad you could both come on such short notice, as you're all aware there can only be ten SS rank adventurers to keep the world power evenly distributed. But I feel that you, Chaaya, could attain SS-rank. Although as you both know every SS-rank wants to take control of the country, me included. Apart from that old man. So having another in my company would be very helpful in my case."

"Why me?"

"Well to be honest you are the only one I believe could do it. In order to get that rank you would need to defeat Torid, another SS-rank and make him give up his rank and while he is the weakest of us he is still incredibly strong."

"By her you mean me right?"

"Well Rhy as her summon you'd be fighting naturally but she would get the rank because you're not technically human."

"We'll do it" I said it blankly walking out of the room. This will help her achieve her dream so I have to do it. I have to win. Will he be like Celdrick? Is he that strong? I am level one hundred and twenty is that enough?

We walked through the town, I was still walking behind her as we waded through the crowds, marching through the town. It wasn't long until we reached his mansion. He was a large man with a huge frame. He wore shorts and nothing else.

"Who the hell are you? What do you want?"

"Well my name is Chaaya and I'm S-rank."

"Ah I see I get twn of you punks a week. Walk round back I got a ring there."

We walked around to a ring with a barrier shimmering.

"All right kid which one of you will I be fightin"

"That would be me."

I raised my hand and walked into the ring.

'Alert: Skill activated - "Conjure" '

My armour wrapped around my body crawling into place and my new sword dropped into the ground next to me.

'Alert: Rhy has started a duel with Torid - duel rules will now be applied. If your Hp drops below 1 you will not be killed and stepping outside the ring will constitute a loss. Killing your opponent will result in loss of respiratory organs'

We both stepped into the ring, my sword trailing behind me.

It began. He walked towards me, He stomped his foot, the ground exploding with yellow flames, the entire arena exploding. I jumped back, grinding my foot into the ground, I dashed forward my sword hanging to one side. My wings formed behind me as I swooped upwards dodging his fist as it rocketed towards my face and exploration bursting out of his knuckles, He stuck his left hand in the air grabbing my leg as he slammed me back into the ground. He punched into the ground explorations nursing into my stomach. Blood erupted from my mouth my entire body exploding with pain from the impact.

I managed to scramble backwards charging forward, I dropped my sword.

'Alert: Skill activated - "Smash" '

My fist glowed as I poured mana into the attack punching the giant man, as our fists met a shockwave pushed us both back cracking the barrier as we both landed.

"Heh heh damn kid that was quite the punch I guess I'll have to take you seriously."

He launched forward his feet exploding as his entire body exploded, his huge frame turning into a missile. I grounded my body and dug my feet into the ground. It was time to use it, the skill I got from passing level one hundred. My entire body burned with electricity, my sword jumped to my hand as the ground was crushed beneath me.

'Alert: Skill activated - "thunderclap strike." '

My body lurched forward, there was something familiar about the way I moved the incredible surge of speed that bolted through my bones electrifying every part of my body.

Torrid was closing in his fist hurtling towards me followed by a cloud of explorations burning the air. The ground cracked under me as I moved, the world disappearing before me as I cut everything stopped, everything was still as I pierced the skin. And then suddenly I was behind him, my sword stained with blood. The barrier was destroyed. The ground was ripped to shreds.

"Damn, I guess I'm getting old. I lose."

I looked back at the man, his arm was gone and blood was splattered over the ground. He was on his knees clutching at his lost limb

"I...I'm sorry."

"Don't it was my time, I was always the weakest of the SS-rank. I hope you two will become great in my place. I resign"

'Alert: Rhy has gained a new title - "SS-rank adventurer." '

'Alert: would you like to use title - "SS-rank adventurer" '

"We will and I'm sorry it had to end this way." Chaaya was talking and she looked so earnest. So hopeful and yet so full of regret.

"Good it's time for you kids to surpass us and your summon is real strong you got a good one, just like the old man."

It was over. The fight was intense but in the end he was nowhere near Celdrick. He really is amazing.
