Reborn as a SCP

Leo was a surgeon in the foundation who had dedicated his entire life to the foundation, entering their ranks as a surgeon's assistant the moment he was qualified. He had seen everything from agents with minor injuries up to agents who had sustained major trauma to their bodies and had lost body parts, even operatives who were affected by SCP's. However, through thick and thin Leo stayed loyal to the foundation. Eventually, Leo qualified for a level three clearance level, all he had to do was complete a minor operation on an executive agent of the foundation. However, the agent mysteriously died and Leo was found responsible for the death after a trial. Leo lamented everyone as his hate for the foundation grew. "I dedicated my entire fucking life to your cause, I have saved hundreds of your operatives and this is the fucking reward I get!?!" After Leo found out he was scheduled to be tested on an SCP that could cause a horrendous death he rebelled, resulting in him dying. When Leo died, there was only one thought in his head. "Why am I the one who must always suffer? All of this happened due to the corruption of others, I've just been a puppet in the grand scheme of everything, the foundation is a predator, and I was the prey all along. The entire foundation, no, the entire world is corrupt. It should all be purged in order for a new beginning." Suddenly, Leo heard a mysterious and dark voice calling out to him. "Do you truly wish to purge the world? To create a new one?" Leo thought he was going insane for a second but still responded. "Yes, that is truly what I want. But before that, I want to trample those who wronged me in this world!"

Train

Leo had never used crypto before but he did hear it was one of the safest way to conduct anonymous transactions.

He knew it wasn't fully anonymous so he would still have to do some research so that he wouldn't get caught out.

Leo sighed and walked out of the warehouse.

The car was still waiting outside and he quickly got in.

"You know the destination, right?" asked Leo.

He wanted to confirm it first before they drove off.

"Yeah, I do. Miss Valentina briefed it to me, are you ready for departure?"

Leo nodded.

"Do you have all your tools?"

Leo did one final check before confirming it.

"Yep, I'm ready."

The driver nodded and started driving.

Leo sighed.

"Man why do I have to do this in the middle of the night, I'm already tired as fuck."

Leo relaxed in the car and closed his eyes for a while.

He didn't want to fall asleep yet since the car ride wouldn't be too long, he would take a nap in the train instead.

It was quite important to get some sleep since his reflexes would become slower if he didn't.

"Oh, right. Valentina gave me a note actually."

Leo took out the note and took a look at it.

"Target resides within mayor Westworks lane, housenumber 11. A guard of the VIP target resides in that house, take care of him and shapeshift into his body before reporting to Mayor Arkenson lane 42A, which is the mansion where the main VIP target resides. You are expected to clock in at 11:00 AM, try getting rid of the target as quickly as possible without raising any alarms, try to not leave any traces for your sake in case they get involved."

It took Leo a second to realise that the "they" Valentina was talking about was the foundation.

Leo put the note away.

"If it wasn't for this job paying so well I would never do this."

Leo knew all too well that he was quite hypocritical at the moment, he wanted a world without any corruption yet he was corrupt himself as well, doing the dirty work of some shady company that wanted a competitor gone.

"I gotta get my hands dirty before I can create my utopia." thought Leo.

Leo was deep in thought over the next half an hour, thinking about all kinds of situations and how he could combat them.

After an hour, the car started slowing down.

Leo looked out of the car window and noticed how they were at the train station.

"Thanks for driving me here." said Leo to the driver as he stepped out and picked up his weapon case.

"Anytime, just make sure to do your thing." said the driver as he handed Leo a ticket.

Leo nodded and closed the door.

The driver quickly drove off and Leo took a look at the train ticket he was handed.

"Man, I'm too early."

Leo still had to wait a solid fifteen minutes before the train would arrive.

Leo took a seat at the railway platform and waited.

There was not a lot else to do.

After waiting for another fifteen minutes, a train finally pulled up toward the station.

There was nothing special about it, just your regular normal train.

Leo got up and stepped in the train, taking a seat

He kept his gun case close to him in case something happened.

The train was eerily quiet, but it was also kind of soothing.

A distraction from the constant business of Leo's life.

The train departed and Leo looked around.

There were only four other people in the same cabin as he was.

Two of them were some drunk college kids meanwhile the other two looked like burned-out office workers.

Leo didn't feel threatened at all so he stashed his gun case under his chair before closing his eyes.

He knew that he would probably be woken up by the train stopping, or at least he hoped so.

In the end, he really needed the sleep since after killing his first target he would go for another shift that would start at 11:00 AM, he would be entirely drained mentally and physically by that point.
