-SITE PSI ??:?? AM-

Doc was once again sitting in the interrogation room with The Hierophant.

She still looked horrible, but it was to be expected after what she witnessed.

The Hierophant was writing something down on his notepad, and it took a solid 10 minutes before the interrogation started.

"Combat medic Doc, I have prepared a series of questions for you, you are expected to answer each question as well as you can, do you understand?" said The Hierophant

Doc simply nodded and The Hierophant wrote something down.

"First question, are you able to give me a detailed description of the anomaly you saw and it's abilities?" asked The Hierophant.

Doc thought for a second before responding.

"As for as I know it is a shapeshifter, it can shapeshift into anything it kills but I do not know if it retains the memories of the original host. If we take in account the various kinds of wounds it inflicted on the cultists back at the serpent's hands hideout we assume that it can also shapeshift its limbs and such, the scariest thing about it is that it has a human-like thought process, it can deceive you just like it did with us."

The Hierophant looked surprised upon hearing this, but his face quickly went back to being blank.

"Second question, does the anomaly have any other anomalous qualities?"

Doc responded instantly.

"Not that I know of, I don't know a lot. It attacked us and we got caught off guard. The only reason I am here is because I ran like a coward."

The Hierophant sighed upon hearing this.

"Alright, last question. The Nu-7 commander wishes to create a separate squadron that will focus on finding and containing this SCP, he wants you to join this squadron as you have experience with this creature, but you already mentioned that you wanted to retire to an office position, I won't force you to respond right now, but think about it."

Doc was in thought but didn't answer the Hierophant yet, instead, she asked a question of her own.

"have reinforcements already been sent to the village?"

"Yes, we are waiting for a response from them now as we are speaking." responded the Hierophant.

"Alright, that is all."

"What should I do? I want to retire to an office position, but at the same time I can't allow this creature to continue on slaughtering."

-THE FOREST, 9:00 AM-

Leo woke up after another terrible night of sleep.

He kept waking up to sounds around him, and after sleeping for three hours he decided to stay awake.

He was still concerned about the presence he felt, but not that much anymore.

He had enough time to think about it and assumed it was probably some bear or wolf following him for a quick meal, but giving up later on.

Leo was really sleep-deprived, he had slept horribly for two days in a row, getting about 7 hours of sleep in total.

He kept on walking through the forest, but at a much slower pace.

When Leo still was a human, he never really spent a lot of time outside.

He was always busy with either school or research of his own.

He could not help but have respect for the Mobile Task Forces of the foundation for being able to withstand such harsh conditions, but this respect turned into hate real quick after he thought about the way he originally died.

Leo kept walking until sundown and then started searching for a place to sleep.

He wanted to get the perfect location this time so he would be able to get some proper rest.

However, nothing in the area was suitable.

At best he would have to sleep in a tree again, so he continued on walking.

He grew more tired by the second, and he was sure that the moment he closed his eyes he would fall asleep.

When he took a look up at the sky, he realized what a beautiful day it was.

!!

Leo suddenly heard bushes moving around and twigs breaking.

Leo got on guard and decided not to move anymore.

He kept looking around spastically, but couldn't spot anything.

In the next second, he saw four shadows jumping out of the bushes.

"Shit! How are they already back!" thought Leo.

He instantly got surrounded by the operatives and they all pointed their guns toward him.

Leo quickly inspected them and was surprised by the logo on their upper arm.

It was exactly what he saw when he met Sogrith in his dream.

The operatives got slightly frightened when they saw Leo smile all of the sudden, they thought he had some trick up his sleeve.

"What do you want from me?" Leo spoke.

Someone entered the surroundment and spoke to Leo.

"It's quite simple, we want you."
