12 A Spark

Almost as if the ring was responding to Baranor's new erratic emotions or even fueling it, the ring pulsed a blue light as if fueling Baranor with more power to push forward. With a new sense of Resolve Baranor started to mercilessly slash down the enemies in front of him making sure to dominate the one's he could and ending the one's he couldn't. When Baranor rushed forward supported by his horde of ghouls and his few uruk's from both the inside and out, and with the uruk's starting to look more and more tired it started to look like Baranor would take the win for this one. That was until the uruk captain took out what looked like a horn and blew into it and a loud cry erupted as if answering his call Baranor could hear the sudden shout's coming from the forest.

The uruk's and orcs who were out hunting or doing their daily task quickly started to run back to their outpost in support of their leader. The uruk's still fighting Baranor also started to shout in retaliation and the uruk's he had inside the enemies' group were slain and the vigor of the uruk's increased. As the tides of the battle slowly shifted favor Baranor could see his ghouls becoming nothing more than lam to the slaughter, and Talon and Crebain barely being able to hold off the uruk's attacks. Baranor seeing this was enraged and forced his way through the enemies and arrived at the center of their formation with his uruk's in close pursuit. Baranor with burning blue eyes looked at the uruk he guessed was the leader of this small outpost and without saying a word they locked eyes and the surrounding uruk's not wanting to get caught up in the mess that was about to happen backed up and formed a circle around the two.

Baranor observed his surroundings carefully and could see numerous uruk's ready to strike when they saw a chance circling the two of them.

"Filthy Grog Stain! Do you know who you face? A captain, of the dark lords army! Once I am done with you I will turn your little army and the traitors into bait for my hunters!" The uruk said

"You will try uruk, and you will fail!" Baranor said as he looked at the uruk with rage and disgust

The two rushed at each other with Baranor's sword burning a bright blue and the uruk's twin axes shining a deep crimson red. The uruk quickly blocked the attack and kicked Baranor away, Baranor who was on a knee slid away toward the edge of the circle when a uruk tried to slash at him with its sword, which was responded with in kind when his head rolled. Baranor stood back up and dodged the rushing uruk and slashed at it's exposed back. The uruk flinched in pain and quickly turned around swinging it's axes at Baranor, who blocked and dodged all except one which slashed his shoulder open for blood to flow. Baranor taking the chance when the uruk stopped his onslaught quickly backed away and eyed the uruk, waiting for their next exchange another uruk tried its chance at Baranor who quickly kicked the uruk down and dominated it, pushing it into the crowd. The uruk leader rushed in once more seeing Baranor distracted which was a mistake as Baranor used the uruk's momentum to his advantage as he slid straight under it striking at it's hind legs making it fall to it's knees. Baranor wanting to end the fight sooner rather than later turned around and stabbed his sword through the uruk's chest and quickly withdrew it. The uruk's vitality was nothing to scoff at, as it turned around and swung its ace in retaliation, the uruk realizing that it was outmatched in skill and even if not slightly worse than the human in front of him tried to use tricks to his advantage.

As the uruk quickly threw down poisoned spikes down around the area making sure Baranor couldn't see it. Baranor not oblivous to what happened yet didn't know what was thrown down tried his best to avoid the area where the uruk threw what was ever in his hand. Baranor and the uruk went a few more small rounds being in a dead lock of Baranor not being able to kill the uruk and the uruk not being able to hurt Baranor. The uruk did something Baranor did not expect as the uruk put his twin axes away rather fast and rushed to Baranor using his brute strength to pick Baranor up by the waist and slammed him down atop the poisoned spikes leaving a visible crack in the ground and knocking the air out of Baranor's lungs and temporarily stunning him for a second. The uruk took this time and delivered a series of ferocious blows to Baranor's face, when Baranor snapped out of it he grabbed his short sword and stabbed the uruk's leg and quickly punching the uruk off of him.

Baranor started to slowly feel the affects of the poison of the spikes and fearing an uruk in the crowd would take this advantage to strike at him he got up fast, However he was quite relieved to see a few of his uruk's in the crowd watching and cheering for him. Although Baranor didn't know of orc or uruk tradition he still refused to get direct help from the uruk under him, he felt that he was above help when dealing with the uruk in front of him. The uruk seeing Baranor moving slower than before decided now was the time to go all or nothing, the uruk charged straight towards Baranor swinging his axe down towards Baranor's head, Baranor dodged to the left and sliced at the side of the uruk, however Baranor not realizing how far the poison traveled fell to his knee's.

The uruk looked at Baranor and smirked

"What? Poison got your tongue? Hahahaha" The uruk said

Baranor's eye were dimming, the light in his eyes fading and the blue hue being replaced with gray. The uruk walked slowly to Baranor and stood right in front of him pointing his axe outwards to Baranor.

"It was fun pigskin!" The uruk said before he readied his axe

When the uruk was about to swing down his axe, Baranor jumped up and placed his hand on the side of the uruk's head.

"Heed my will!" Baranor said as his voice resounded through the uruk's head

The uruk screamed and fell to his knees as Baranor was dominating his mind, due to his current state of mind it was rather easy to dominate the uruk's mind as the uruk was also just as tired and hurt as Baranor was. When Baranor was done only a few seconds passed and the uruk's surrounding the two were lost in what was happening and when the victor became clear when Baranor stood alone as the uruk's leader was still on his knee's looking at the ground. The uruk stood as it looked at it's old subordinates and regaining its old vigor and healing some of it's old wounds. The uruk leader looked at a new prey, it's old followers and prepared to start the massacre, Baranor's uruk's were also begging to start their own slaughter as they once again began to battle.

As if right on time the force's that the uruk leader called for arrived and the rest of the camp entered the camp and saw their leader attacking their own, believing it to be a rebellion they joined their leader's side They didn't realize how wrong they were, when the dust started to slightly settle Baranor was out of the battle sitting down as his body started to slow down to a halt. When Baranor realized he was dying he started to feel regretful that he couldn't even start his plan to avenge his father. Baranor looked at the scenes playing before him and once again relived the memories of his past.

Lunamir watching this scene was quite satisfied as the uruk's proved to be a much better batch of exp than the ghouls as he saw multiple level up screens. Feeling that he gained quite a lot from the fight with the uruk's Lunamir was quite pleased.
