4 Chapter 4 Pirates

Waking up Rak dazedly got out of bed before putting on his clothes. 'Why does everything seem so much smaller?' Rak thought as he looked around. "Huh, I don't remember being that muscular." Rak mumbled, until finally something clicked.

'This must be the Minor Body Enhancement.' Enlightenment struck him and immediately he turned on his system and the results delighted him.

It seemed as though the Minor Body Enhancement not only made him taller but also increased his stats giving him a perfect balance of 20 in each. With this Rak could now not only complete his training much easier, but could also continue levelling up his punch skill without exhausting himself too much.

'But wait.... what am I going to wear?' Rak thought before deciding to just walk out of his room in his undersized clothes. After all he had nothing else to wear, so either way he'd have to make his request while dressed stupidly.

A few minutes later Rak found a marine he had conversed with a few days ago. "Yo Charlie, do you have any clothes I could wear?" Rak asked as he approached the marine. He had golden blonde hair, brown eyes and stood at about 1.8 meters tall.

Before Rak was much shorter than him, but now after the enhancement Rak was actually a full head taller than him. "W-WOAH!? Is that you Rak?" Charlie asked in amazement. After all it was quite the dramatic change.

"Eh, ya.... so do you have any clothes I could wear?" Rak asked once again. Charlie was in charge of the clothes within the ship and was a Chore Boy just as Rak was. "Ya my bad, give me a second." Charlie swiftly replied before walking off.

A few minutes later he came back with a white shirt and blue trousers. "Thanks, I owe you one." Rak chuckled while taking the clothes. "Don't worry about it, its just part of the job. By the way I heard we'll be docking soon that's quite exciting. Maybe we'll finally get promoted." Charlie replied.

After this small interlude Rak went back to his room, and got dressed. He then began his chores for the day. 'So I'll finally have a chance to be promoted.' Rak mused he was quite excited, after all being a chore boy, while safe was also pretty boring. Also now that Rak had unlocked a skill and his stats had increased so much, he was actually quite confident.

Beginning his chores for the day, Rak received many questioning gazes and some people were even curious as to who he was. And every time Rak told them who he was they'd look back at him in shock. 'Well I mean without the system this would be practically impossible. I am pretty sure I grew an entire 30 centimeters in one day after all.'

Like this Rak's days passed monotonously. Obviously they couldn't harp on his transformation for that long, and the One Piece world was already quite whacky so they simply accepted what happened.

Five days later, while mopping the floors the alarm began to ring. "PIRATES!" A marine screamed, and in an instant thud after thud could be heard throughout the ship. The marines were getting ready for battle.

'Whew they've got it handled.' Rak sighed before continuing to mop the floor. But just as he had calmed himself down, the system interface appeared in front of him.

Seeing this Rak was shocked, as he had a bad premonition. This either meant 1 of 2 things, one it was optional and he could do it or not do it with no consequences. Or, the scenario which Rak feared, Captain Puffy couldn't be stopped unless Rak took action.

'I guess this is what being led by the nose by the system feels like.' Rak thought before dismissing the panel. Before he could even debate what to do next, his fears came true.

"ITS THE PUFFY PIRATES! WE HAVE TO GO ALL OUT BOYS!"

A scream echoed throughout the ship. Rak knew this as the stout man who he had met on his first day. Obviously he knew who he was now, he was Chief Petty Officer Evans, he was the "Captain" of the ship, but he wasn't actually a Captain. This was because the ship was sailing in a relatively peaceful area of the South Blue so a Captain rank marine wasn't required to man the ship.

That also meant, in the off chance they did meet an actual pirate crew, their chances of success weren't all that high. 'Then again he's still quite strong.' Rak thought, but as if to prove him wrong he immediately heard a shout from above.

"HE'S TOO STRONG! GIVE IT YOUR ALL OR WE'LL DIE! HAAA!"

".....For fucks sake." Rak sighed before charging up the ship. It seemed that he was being forced to fight. 'Damn you system.'
