Yuji thought about it, he must leave as soon as possible, or else someday a goat might seriously kill him Thing are going pretty well for him, at least on surface, but as the days passing by he felt the instance feeling he had is growing.
Even though no goat came to question him before, everything changed today. One goat came today, two will come tomorrow and four after that.
He already thought about leaving this palace. Not the farm but just this place, entrance of the farm. But the problem is, where should he go?
This problem made Yuji think twice about his decision. First of all, it's about safety. Here, in front of the farm, it's the safest place for a baby goat like him. There are guard dogs, and there are humans. If something were to be attacked, this place would be the safest.
In the end, he decided to stay another two days for the elder goat. If he is lucky enough, he will be able to meet the elder. If not, then it's his bad luck. But instead of 2 days almost a week passed by.
After a week as he was doing his daily mission, he heard a system sound.

" Finally!" Seeing the notifications, a smile appeared on his face
It's been so many days since he has been waiting for this. After all, new skills mean a power-up, and power-up means a high survival chance. The only reason he is so concerned about survival is because of what he is.

As Yuji opened the system interface he noticed the notification.

Seeing the achievement a smile on Yuji's face brightened. How could he not be happy? After this is what he was trying to achieve. Without wasting time he walk close to a nearby tree and sat down comfortably, and opened the detailed notification.

Yuji glanced at the skill and his energy. Looking at the cool down and the amount of energy consumption per use, he became a little disappointed. For now, he can't use more than one skill at a time.
Even though the 15% increase in his stats wasn't that big, that's only for now. With more upgrades and the more powerful he becomes, these bonuses will prove more beneficial to him in the future.
As for how to upgrade these skills? There are a few ideas about that in Yuji's mind. One of them is by doing the daily mission, and he might be able to achieve a threshold that needs to be reached for an upgrade. Well, this is only an idea. He will only know about it when he receives an upgrade notification.
But what Made him the most worried is that there's no hidden mission. Previously when he unlocked an achievement there was a hidden mission. But this time there was none. That means unlocking a new achievement doesn't necessarily means he will complete a hidden mission and this is worrisome because new mission means essence.
For a second a thought came into his mind. 'Maybe killing a monster would give him essence'.
But the problem is where would he find a monster. There's no monster but even if he find monster can he kill it?
"Are goats consider monster? Will I receive essence if I kill few?" Yuji wondered to himself. If he search he might be able to find a few weak or old one, after all there's probably few thousands goat here.
"Maybe no." Yuji thought to himself. Killing a goat might not bring him any essence, instead his quest 'New Life' might fail. And no matter what he doesn't wants that to happen.
After ending his thoughts, he opened the system interface to look at the progress.

"Almost there, another 60 Essence, and I'll level up," As Yuji glanced at the system, he became a little excited. It's been a week since he found himself here. Even though he accepted everything, he felt he couldn't do it. But now, looking back, he is making progress, and he believes it won't be long until he levels up. With the possibility of getting a new Essence if he learns new skills or able to upgrade them, it will be fast.
It was not just Essence; his stats have risen as well. When he found himself in this world, his stats were below 0.50, but now all his stats are above 0.7. it's the result of his hard work in past 10 or more days.
Soon his gaze fall on quest completion rate which is only 12%. It was the same when he complete the last quest, this time it didn't increased. This also indicate one thing, only completing a mission will increase the completion rate if the Quest.
As he kept checking the system, he slowly arrived in front of the exit. He doesn't have any particular reason for coming here, he walks here casually. As he came close to the gate, he noticed the gate, which is made out of wood, just like the fence around the farm. Well, he doesn't know if the wall was built with wood; it's just a guess for now, but it shouldn't be anything other than wood.
Upon arriving at the entrance, various elements came into his view, including the gate. As he swapped his gaze he took notice of several wooden house dogs lounging beneath a large oak tree and stretching their bodies.
As he shifted his gaze from the dogs, he spotted two horses munching on grass nearby. He also glimpsed a few humans engaged in playing card-like games, but it was difficult to determine the exact type of game they were playing since he was standing far away. Other than these, there was nothing particularly noteworthy to observe, except for a road that vanished between the woods not too far away.
Soon his gaze falls on the trees where the road has vanished. Most of the trees look the same. They are big, very big, and look like they will be able to reach the sky if they are able to become a little bigger.
This made Yuji think if the farm is truly inside a forest or those are just normal trees, "Is this farm truly inside a forest? Yuji thought, "I am living in a bigger danger zone. I have to make a trip around the farm as soon as possible."
