14 let's lick more

"Y-You, How dare you attack my friend."

Looking at the voice, Yuji noticed a buckling charging at the female goat with blood-red eyes and anger visible all over its face, and this buckling was none other than Sith.

Noticing Sith, Yuji felt his heart weaver a bit. He felt a feeling he never felt before, the feeling of having someone who stand up for him. But the truth is he never thought of this goat as a friend. He only said they could become friends because he wanted to complete a new mission. And most importantly, he never thought a goat would jump in a fight for him.

"What should I do?" Yuji pondered, his mind racing with uncertainty. Yet, as he deliberated, he recognized the stark reality: he only have two options before him.

One is to fight alongside Sith and other is to run away. But both are dangerous, so he didn't made up his mind right away.

With this thought, Yuji waited for the results as Sith ran toward the female goat. But the battle ended even before it started. The female goat turned around and run away.

Yuji watched as the goat's figure vanished into the distance, leaving him puzzled and uncertain about its sudden departure. He couldn't think of any reason why this female goat would suddenly run away, especially after their brief encounter where she had the clear advantage and highest chance of winning.

Turning his attention to Sith, Yuji noticed Sith remained stoic, unfazed by the unexpected turn of events.

With a furrowed brow, Yuji pondered about the mysterious behavior of the fleeing goat. Was there a hidden reason behind its hasty retreat? But he couldn't think of any reason that could force a goat to retreat, especially from a fight that she could have won.

"Friend, are you okay?" Sith inquired with concern as he glanced at Yuji.

Yuji nodded, reassuring Sith of his well-being despite the unexpected encounter with the fleeing goat.

"She ran away. If she hadn't, I would have taught her a lesson," Sith remarked, his tone tinged with a hint of frustration and anger.

Yuji couldn't help but praise this buckling for his courage. He decided to fight someone three times bigger than him for someone he only knew for over a few hours.

"Friend, what do we do now?" Sith inquired as he drew nearer to Yuji, his voice carrying a tone of curiosity and concern.

Sith's question echoed in Yuji's mind. Yuji took a few steps forward, surveying their surroundings. The encroaching darkness and the fading sun painted the horizon with hues of orange and purple, casting a serene yet eerie atmosphere over the landscape.

The world around them grew still, the sounds of the day giving way to the quiet of the evening, and Yuji noticed that most of the goats he had seen earlier had already departed.

"We have to find a safe place to protect ourselves from predators," Yuji stated, his voice tinged with urgency.

"A safe place?" Sith questioned, his eyes reflecting a mixture of curiosity and concern.

"Yes, somewhere where we are safe," Yuji replied, carefully explaining the concept of safety to Sith. Hearing Yuji's word sith nodded his head in understanding.

"Friend, how about we go to my home?" asked Sith.

"Your home?" Yuji inquired, a spark of hope glinting in his eyes. It wasn't difficult to deduce that Sith's home could be a safe haven. Considering Sith lived alone, his dwelling might just be the ideal hiding spot for the night.

"My home isn't that far from here. It will take us some, some... Argh, what is that thing you said? I f-forget it again"

"Time?" Yuji offered, understanding the potential gap in their communication.

"Yes, yes, time! It won't take much time to get there," Sith confirmed with a smile on his goat face.

Yuji wasted no time in agreeing to Sith's proposal. While he hadn't encountered any predators yet, he knew the importance of finding shelter. Shelter is the most important thing for him, especially until he is strong enough to protect himself.

Following Sith, Yuji kept his senses on as they traversed the darkening landscape. The sun had already disappeared beyond the horizon, leaving the world bathed in shadows. Despite the encroaching darkness, Yuji remained confident in his ability to run away if he encounter any predator because as a goat his vision was well-adapted to low light conditions.

With each step, Yuji's ears twitched at the slightest rustle in the underbrush, and his eyes scanned the surroundings for any signs of danger. He remained vigilant, knowing that predators could lurk in the shadows, waiting for the opportune to strike.

After almost half an hour of walking, Yuji caught sight of a grove of trees. As they approached, the full picture of the place unfolded before him. It wasn't just a collection of trees; the area resembled a small jungle, with various small and large plants creating a lush and diverse environment. But the main reason why this place looks like a small jungle is because of Climbing Hempweed. They were everywhere creating a natural defense and a cage at the same time.

"T-this is my place friend, follow me I'll show you." Said Sith as he slowly moved the plants blocking his way with his head.

"You sure you live here?" asked Yuji with an uncertain tone. He hesitated, after all a predator like a fox or a coyote hides in a jungle like this one. Especially Fox usually dug cave to hide in a place like this.

"Yes, every time people try to kill me I hide in this place, they never find me." Said Sith as he slowly entered through the small entrance he made.

Yuji looked at the path Sith made by moving Climbing Hempweed, he looked around himself and regretted not being able to climb trees for the second time, but today he made a promise to himself he would learn tree climbing.

As Yuji followed the path Sith had created, he ventured deeper into the groove, but soon found himself standing in a spacious place, his eyes widening in disbelief at the enchanting sight before him. Fireflies danced in the darkness, their ethereal glow casting a mesmerizing aura around them. Despite his ability to see in the dark, the sight of the flickering fireflies stirred memories from his past life.

Shaking off the nostalgic reverie, Yuji refocused on his surroundings. He noticed a cave entrance, almost two feet tall and 3 feet wide. Yuji slowly entered the cave.

What surprises him is that he can't determine how big the cave is. As an animal who can see even in the dark, he felt his gaze can't penetrate what's deep inside. As if his vision has been limited.

He shifted his gaze around and noticed Sith close to the wall of the cave, as he approached Sith he heard a licking sound, looking carefully he noticed Sith licking the cave wall.

"It's good, dalesuas. Friend y-you should also try" Sith urged, his voice resonating with contentment as he continued to lick the wall of the cave with unbridled enthusiasm.
