5. Itachi and His Grand Scheme?

Crows could be heard flying around a shrine in the middle of the Uchiha Village, inside the shrine there is a dark chamber containing gold lanterns wrapped with purple flames along the corridor. There could be seen a man sitting on a throne made for the Uchiha Royalty. His name is Itachi Uchiha, and he is the current commander of the Uchiha Clan.

Surrounding him were 3 anbu ninjas that are very close to him, it's rumored that they're his students from before he was given the title 'Orange Eyed Demon' after fighting and singlehandedly killing off multiple clans that wiped out one of the Clan's Main subdivisions hiding out near the border connecting the Land of Fire and the Land of Lightning.

His power alone is enough to fight off an army, so whoever has the balls to even dare touch him is, by all means, courting a gorgeous death caused by thousands of swords impaling through their heart on repeat for years at a time.

Some would say he's a menace to society for the radiant orange eyes that he has, a new form of the EMS that can be gained by earning his EMS without a transplant and just by having such potent chakra and reserves.

His eyes have a sort of gleam that when you look, you can't help but cower in fear if you have less willpower than him.

When you've killed thousands of ninjas the amount of killing intent you can release is enough to rival the fabled Renzo Uzumaki widely known as the 'Warrior of Carnage' that passed away back in the 1st Ninja War that ever occurred.

Right now the number of ninjas on the same level as the Warrior of Death can only be counted on 10 hands and a single foot. With only 52 ninjas, there are only around 30 that are currently verified alive and maybe some more in hiding.

Even though 30 out of 52 seems like a huge amount of people, however since the Warrior of Death was killed there hasn't been a widescale fight ever since.

Shortly after he was ambushed and set up by his old friends and some of his lifelong adversaries, he succumbed due to combatting an excruciating battle 1 versus 5 Super Kage leveled ninja. His strength was very large at the time, but it wasn't as widely known in the past that the 'Super Kage' Level of power was not a myth and it was only lacking evidence to prove that it is very real.

The main reason that he is still a Legend now is that back then everyone was weaker on a large scale. Throughout the wars and hundreds of years of relentless terror from countries being pushed by stronger countries, the Ninja World started to develop and refine themselves by doing the craziest training yet to date.

Itachi is currently 46 years old and he is still chasing his prime, doing never-ending training day in and day out when he isn't having clan meetings between the elders.

Lately, he's been keeping an eye out for some Genin showing potential for the training regimen that he and the elders have been planning on starting soon after the coming war.

Going through the statistics the sensor ninjas put together after each skirmish or battle in the war, he was skimming through when he saw something different. Out of all the Uchihas, there has been a single kid sticking out from the crowd recently, and it wasn't because of his distinctive appearance.

Itachi's chakra-laced voice filled the room, "This kid, where is he at this moment both strength-wise and ability-wise? He hasn't been performing all that well up until this last year, but throughout the last couple of clashes with Gato, he has been progressively getting better and more promising.

I'm interested in getting him as one of my students to find out if he can qualify to take the training course formulated by us.."

After a slight pause, he continues "Hopefully he's worthy of it, it would be quite a shame for his mother to have an extraordinary kekkei Genkai that is still unknown to us and his father to have a strong Sharingan and him just being the useless brat he had showed himself to us since their.. untimely deaths."

Sarada was the first to speak, "Zuno Shisora is currently at his residence. The last time he was checked he is around Genin level. Father, what would like us to do?"

"Naori go tell Inabi to call him in, it's about time we start nurturing him like the rest of the young talents. I know he's been tough on himself but his method of resisting being motivated to train has been extremely detrimental for his own good. At this rate, it is only a matter of time before he dies on the battlefield." Itachi stated the facts, it may have been a little harsh but in the end, that's how he sees it.

Itachi was deep in thought, around five years ago, he had Shisui use his Sharingan ability on the entirety of the Uchiha Clan to conclude that Zuno's parents were killed in the war when they were just killed for plotting to overwhelm Itachi and takeover the Uchiha Clan.

This side of Itachi is one that some may look over because of all his 'righteous' accomplishments, the whole time he's only done any and everything for his own good so that he and his household can keep on living.

Meanwhile, located on the side of the road there was a medium brown-skinned boy that could be seen walking towards the clan's shrine. This boy has short purple dreads that are dangling from above his Uchiha Clan Headband with the Uchiha Clan's symbol. He's quite small but something folk may start to notice soon is the purple shimmer covering his left eye and the blue shimmer on his right eye.

Zuno hasn't looked in a mirror since yesterday before the clash had happened so he is entirely unknown to his eyes dojutsu beginning to form. All he knows is that his reflexes have been getting better and better ever since he started boosting his agility stat.

Something else that's very foreign to him is the origin of his mother's clan and what her Kekkei Genkai consists of. With no one alive to teach him the Shisora clan's mysteries, he could only give up on trying to find out for himself in time.

As Zuno is lost in thought, he finally made it to the shrine. Once he laid eyes on the beautiful shrine he saw the crows in the air flying around the huge building. The temple was for the most part Black with Gold ruins going across the perimeter.

As he walked up 18 steps skipping every other one, he had no choice but to admire the amount of detail that the Shrine had. There are purple runes across the bottom half of the steps and gold runes across the top half. Once he reached the door, it automatically started to open up he heard a very powerful voice that was quite low but enhanced with chakra to be clearly heard.

"Welcome back to the shrine, Zuno Shisora. I understand that you've been training in seclusion ever since your parents died, but it's about time that you check-in and show some of your prowess." Itachi spoke quietly but his voice was heard throughout the chamber perfectly.
