1 Chapter 1: Alicia's birthday
A 10 year old blond girl with a fair sun kissed skin and a beautiful pretty eyes can be seen giggling with joy, because today both of her parents agreed to make time to celebrate her birthday with her.
she was smiling from ear to ear. mom, thank you so much, this means a lot to me. Her mother couldn't stop her self from pinching her cute cheeks. Now Alice, can you continue with what you were doing.
oh mom, I almost forgot. her mother smiled and looked at her warm eyes.

This girl is Alicia Wilson, Alicia was born in a rich family, her father was a gambling addict that he sold most of their house properties to pay off his dept.
Her mom Elizabeth Wilson was forced to leave under her abusive husband who mostly vented his frustration through both physical and sexual abuse.
Not long her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. her sickness continue to worsen as the days passed. But they couldn't make enough money to pay her hospital bills, but her greedy father did not stop until everything in the house was sold off to pay his depts.
Because of this she had no choice but to drop out of school since there was no money to pay her fees and money for food became difficult. she had to do many Temporal jobs to support her self and her mother.
on one faithful afternoon. Her father Sebastian arrived home with a nice expensive car. he stepped out from the car and a pair of black well polished shoe could be seen dazzling under the sun.
with a proud grin he walked with his head held high . when he saw how his house looked so shabby, he couldn't help but snort in disgust. when he entered his house he saw his daughter resting on the couch.
Pack up and get ready to leave this house. He said coldly and emotionless as if he was talking to a stranger.
The girl on the couch did not bother to open her eyes since she knew who the voice belong to.
Seeing how he was being ignored he said furiously, pack now and let's leave or NEVER. Alicia slowly open her pretty eyes and stared straight into the man who seemed to be more of a stranger than her father.
ok, she said with a bit of disappointment thinking about how he never showed any warmth when talking to her. She went into her room to pack up her clothes.
she came back holding a red bag which did not look like a traveling bag and said I'm ready. He slightly nodded before moving not realizing how stiff the his daughter was.
Alicia was surprised and wondered what his father is up to. she decided to ask him when she got in the car.Father, she called immediately she entered, but only got a proud grin from her father. How does being rich again feels like. He said raising his left brow.
She thought this was the right time to ask her father her questions. Father, can you explain how you got rich overnight, Did you acquire all this through hard work, Can we now pay mom's hospital bails, can we now buy all the medicines Mon needs, can she be dis...
Before she could finish asking her questions she received a bone chilling glare from her father. She had no choice but to shut her mouth. And an awkward silence followed with made the atmosphere in the car so tense that it almost suffocated her.
She closed her eyes and wondered why they could never be happy as a family. Why... Is it that difficult to live a normal life. A sad smile could be seen on her cute face. Even though she pretends to be unaffected. Another part of her wished to live happily with her parents.
After a few hours of driving the car stopped in front of a huge metal gate. A guard clothed in security uniform could be seen approaching the car. Master welcome back. He said and bowed respectively. Her father only nodded and gestured for the gates to be opened.
The guard went back to inform the rest of their master's arrival. The other guards and maids lined up waiting to serve their master. When the door opened an exquisite garden came to view. Of course, a certain some one was still in deep thoughts to realize this .
You will be living here for now. He said before leaving. Alicia was brought out of her own world by the sudden exclamations. She couldn't be bothered to open her eyes. After she was sure he was gone, she slowly opened her eyes but could not help but gasp in awe when she looked around. She couldn't help but think of one word "beautiful" it's been a long while since she saw things like this.
Young miss. She heard some one calling her. My name is Elice, the headmaid of the house. The middle aged woman introduced her self with a calm smile. Please let me lead you to your room.
Alicia nodded and said lead the way. Whiles they were walking the maid explained every details about the house to her. After walking for a few minutes they came across a door.
Young miss, I think I have to leave you for now, everything in that room belongs to you. After the maid, left Alicia entered the unfamiliar room with a dumped mood, she did not feel the need to be happy so she just went straight to the washroom to take a quick shower.
With a blink of an eye three years has passed but the was no peace since her father never stopped bringing woman in the house to spend the night with. Sebastian enjoyed his life to the fullest unaware of the dangers lurking in the dark.
A day before her birthday Alicia could be seen in parents room asking for their time to celebrate her first birthday with the cutest face she had ever showed. Mom, Dad please. At least only this once.

Elizabeth felt guilty for not making enough time for her daughter. But as usual Sebastian didn't care and only nodded. Alicia was about to rejoice when she heard him continue. If I can't even give my daughter a great birthday then what will my friends say.
Her eyes dimed thinking all he care about was his fake imagine. She sighed inwardly and said thanks mom,dad. After she left to prepare for her birthday. Sebastian took it upon himself to invite well known business men and well known celebrities.

A certain man could be seen clothed with black robes. it was only his eyes that was left uncovered. And a man covered in sweat was giving he the report. Sir according to what our men said, it has being 3 years since he collected money and more than one year has passed for him to repay what he borrowed. But even through persuasion he always manages to escape.
Does that mean you can't do your work well. He said with an icy yet low tone. Beads of sweat rolled uncontrollably on his face. He ..... he threatened us with the evidence of you killing the the minster's son. He said if we approach him again he will make the video go viral.
The black clothed laughed coldly making his voice echo in the dim room. But to his subordinate it felt like a scary monster. He knew his master very well since Everytime he laughed meant great misfortune. He couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

Today was Alicia's birthday so she woke up early in the morning to prepare. Now it was 6:00 in the evening. Alice was now standing in front of the mirror smiling happily. She weared a blue dress that fitted her perfectly. Her hair was tied in a band. Her mesmerizing features could make every girl at her age green with envy .
Young miss are you ready. The banquet is about to begin Her personal maid called out. Yes . She replied. We're all waiting for you. Ok she replied and with graceful steps Alicia walked out of the room. though no one noticed how she was nervously clenching her fists as she as graceful descended the stairs.The dynamic music came into abrupt pause. The once noisy room became quiet the moment they saw her. They were too stunned to react.
That's my daughter. Sebastian exclaimed with satisfactory in his voice. everyone was drawn back to reality when they heard his proud voice. They all clapped and welcomed her as she descended the stairs. but before she reach the last stairs a lot of people gathered around her wishing her good wishes. The once peaceful night became lively with joy. Alicia couldn't control her delight and allowed her self to enjoy the night to the fullest.
