The Dark Creations Part 5: The Chains of Insanity, Gleipnir

(General POV)

Location the Plague Garden-The Blighted Mansion/The Restoration Pools

Nurgle told his newest servents everything that has happened on the "Second" Chapter of the Great Game, which completely confused the trio, then Nurgle realized that the world they originate from that have numerous war between their weaker counterparts and those war were without the older brother, Laharl.

So the Plague God elaborated that they were no longer in their old world, but one much more different and with infinite possibilities for carrion, this shocked the trio they were summoned to another, they were confused about the one known as Laharl, hearing this Nurgle sighed and explained who the Dark One is...the results didn't surprise the armless Nurgle.

Epidemius, Ku'gath, and especially Festus were shocked of the mention and existence of a fifth Chaos God, and not only was this "Dark One" powerful but he I'd more ancient than Papa Nurgle.

But the Rot Lord reassured them that in the end all shall be consumed by rot, and his wounds were but a minor set back in that goal, and to achieve total domination and putrification of Materium and Immaterium, he needed them to stand and serve him, in this ambition.

Ku'gath and Epidemius were more than happy to serve their dark father, and experience these new poxses, plagues, and infections of this new nearly infinite world.

While Festus was overjoyed the possibilities to create new carrion, disease, and pathogen from such an advance world filled the former mortal doctor, Nurgle was most pleased he promised to provide Ku'gath and Epidemius with new palanquin and Festus with his own laboratory near his Mansion, Festus saw this as a great honor as a huge swarm of nurglings came into the pool.

They were summoned by Nurgle himself to guide Festus to his new workspace, and serve Ku'gath and Epidemius as they restore their own dwellings in this Plague Garden, and Nurgle also said, "Once...I'm restored...I will summon...you...three...to lead...a lovely...cancerous celebration...amongst...the eldars. For now...rest my...children...for now...my legion...we...wait...until the fever...worsen...across, the Warp...then we'll...make...a move." hearing Nurgle's commands they bowed, and obeyed as they left their beloved Grandfather, to rest and heal in his vile pool.

As they left the chamber, Nurgle, he sighed as he carefully adjusted himself in the pool, quite happy and contemp, the addition of Ku'gath, Epidemius, and Festus shall prove a great bounty for him and the cycle in the end, he allowed himself to be completely submerged by the bubbling yellow green waters...and waited for his opportunity...

Location the Nethervoid-The Bastion Stairs/Mordred's Domain & Headquarters

Mordred was personally overseeing his assigned territory and watching for any khornate invasion.

Stomping around the giant armored elder daemon was accompanied by several heralds (Abyssalnites) since the end of the Second Chaos War, things have been calm in the borders to the Blood Lands.

But scouts mounted on the daemonic siege towers have reported that some khornate daemons have been gathering in the Bastion Stairs so Mordred and his forces have been on high alert.

Speaking on those tower they are Carnage Towers that their Dark God has created long ago, during the war against the Blood God, so then the Dark One has bequeath exclusively to Mordred as they were better serve the Ultimate Slaughterer, and when Mordred was about to return to his personal dwelling on the floating earth cloister that oversee the are called "Slaughterer Rest", he sensed that their was some khornate daemons coming directly to the gate entrance of the Bastion Stairs.

Tightening the grip on his spear-blade, the Slaughterbane, he was prepared to attack and slaughter the braisen invaders when he heard telepathically, "Mordred!!! Stand down, those bloodcrushers are given permission to enter my lands. Their transporting cargo, send by the Blood God to me. Allow them safe passage to and from the Nethervoid...anyone else...kill them." Mordred immediately recognizing the voice of his dark master and father, lower his guard slightly and turn to the abyssalnites, under his command.

He said in a daemonic and metallic sounding voice, "My daemonic warriors. Our Dark God, has instructed that the coming blood daemon will not be harm under any circumstance. But still be prepared any other minion of the Blood God that come, is free game for us to slaughter." hearing the Second Elder Daemon's, command the high-daemons rush off to relay his orders.

Mordred stared at the brass made wall gate that is the Bastion Stairs, one last time before turning away making his tail swing across the violet ground, kicking up violet dust clouds in the process.

He left to gather the daemons under his command regardless of having the Dark One's permission they are still enemies and some of the khornate force may use this opportunity to invade while the Bastion Stairs is opened, and as the Elder Daemon charge with safekeeping the borders to the Blood Lands he'll spare none who defy his dark father.

Of course the Dark One sensed and saw all of this on fold from miles away, flying in place as he sensed the approaching blood daemons to his domain.

It has finally come the 1300-Tons of Blood Brass Ore, that Khorne promised him and while he knows his brother will honor their deal, and truce his daemons are another thing, sometimes it amazed him that all blood daemons share all Khorne's more bloody qualities including martial honor, and honesty but...they don't share his code of honor, quite a controversy.

Flapping his wings, the Dark One decided to personally welcome these khornate daemons so they can leave quicker before another Bastion Stairs battle occurs...

Back in the border Mordred Deathharbinger, and his small legions of knightmares, abyssalnites, stalkers, and slaughter calvaries were gathered as the elder daemon requested, as the Bastion Stairs began to rumble and shake...

Opening slowly revealing the bloodstained red hellscape it kept shut, along with countless hundred bloodletters, rendmasters, all looking bloodthirsty and eager for battle, as some flesh hounds were also around the area, growling aggressively at the laharlish daemons.

The khornate daemon growled, and roared at Mordred and his daemons, while Mordred's forces responded in kind some even hissing and revealing their long venom-like tongues at their enemies, but regardless of the high tensions between the two opposing Chaos daemon forces, the Blood Legion was given orders to not attack and allow the cargo of their Blood God to pass into the Nethervoid unharmed.

As the two forces glares at each other, eager for the other to make a move and provoke a battle, but a blood herald (Rendmaster) stopped his fellow khornate daemons as they made way for a brass and dark metal squared container being pulled by eight bloodcrushers, within this large container was 1300-tons of ore that the Blood God commanded these bloodcrushers to transport and deliver without fail.

As the cargo was being taken into the violet daemonic lands of Nethervoid, Mordred prepared to escort and watch over the bloodcrushers as they transport their cargo, deeper into the Carnage Lands, but that's when all the daemons from both sides sense a dark divine presence fast approaching their location.

All already knew who's coming, not much later soaring through the maroon skies came the Dark One his shadow was seen descending onto the area, and in one swift moment landing between the two daemonic forces, was the Chaos God of Carnage, Laharl.

Laharl landed in a kneeling position and he stood up smoothly coiling his six wings around his body his own burgundy and black fur colored long coat, mixing with the plumage of four his wing and the leather of his devil wing forming a makeshift large coat.

His appearance immediately made his daemons kneel, while Mordred showed respect and reverence by bowing to him, on the other side the khornate daemons were backing off clearly intimidated and frightened by the Dark One's appearance, he told his daemons to be at ease as he calmly walked towards the cargo, picking up one of the heavy, red, daemonic ingots within the brass transport, in his massive clawed-power gauntlet it look small but the ingot was overflowing with Chaos energy, they are perfect.

Placing ingot back into the container with the rest of the cargo he addressed the daemons who brought it, he complemented them and gave them a few souls to devour as he told them their mission was complete and they can return to Khorne, the Dark One than turn his attention to the rendmaster still on their side of the border addressing and telling him, "Blood herald. Expect Khorne's delivery soon, know that our contract is that my succubi are not to be harm through and from the Blood Lands. Break this oath and you blood daemon will have more than one Dark God enraged...understood?"

The Rendmaster immediately understood as he commanded all his fellow khornate daemons including the bloodcrushers, next to the Dark One to return and for the Bastion Stairs to close, the Dark One pleased with the outcome walked over to the container again, and with his left claw, lifting the container over his shoulder, as he watched the Blood Legion get away from his side of the border and deeper into the Blood Lands of Khorne.

Once again the Bastion Stairs started to rumble and shake as it was closing slowly back up.

The Dark One hmmed, as he turned around and walked towards Mordred, Laharl complimented him and was quite pleased with Mordred's diligence.

Mordred was honored and immediately went back to keeping watch over the Bastion Stairs with his forces, Laharl seeing he prevented another annoying war on his border he prepared to leave and create his chain, don't get him wrong he enjoys war as much as his brother Khorne, for war is one of the main producers of Carnage, but that when it has slaughter, devastation, ruin, horror and more a simple squabble at the border its but a bite of meager snack.

Sighing, the Dark One unfolded his wings spreading them wide as he did a powerful thrash of them, blasting off to the air and flying away, with the cargo secured in his left arm.

(Laharl/Carnage God POV)

Location the Nethervoid-The Maroon Skies, on route to the Lone Mountain

Finally I can create my latest artifact, and even give it special anti-magic properties by using the Blood Brass Ore that I've won from Khorne, I smile as I flew through my beautiful, malignant maroon skies.

I was heading back to the single mountain, so I can safely test this chain which I already name after a legendary chain from Nordic mythology, the chains that once bound the great wolf God-Beast, Fenrir, that chain is called Gleipnir.

I've also noticed that I've been quite inspired and eager to create and develop many more things since a day ago.

Then suddenly I felt a surge of power, constantly flowing into me.

I felt stronger, plus I can feel the surge of worship increase drastically than before it was much more than anything this surge of power, and the great flux of worship directed at me made me stop in place, as I flap my wings a couple times to stay in flight.

Curious is to why this happened I contacted Aillia to tell me, she quickly responded as a helpful assistant and advisor.

Aillia spoke to me, (My Lord. The reason for this change in your behavior and personality, along with the surge of power your experiencing, is because another of your Divinities not only ascended but has become a mayor influence to your being. Congratulations on this!!!♡ ;)) so that's what happening, is true when my [Love & Lust] divinities reached max level, I have become more attuned with being very romantic and lustful...sometimes a bit perverted and a cheesy romantic, but who care their apart of my very essence so whatever, as shrugged as thought of that.

Curious into what my [Omni-bending] has turned into since it was the only logical one that must have evolved and reached max level, I told Aillia to bring up my Divinities, and just like that the list screen appeared in front of me.

Greater Divinities

1.Love-Max Level

2.Lust-Max Level

3.Infernals-Max Level

4.Creator-Max Level: The Ultimate force of creation, creativity, and inspiration the power to create everything and anything from concept, to actual life both mortal and divine, as the primordial power of creation, the Chaos God, Laharl governs thus all create by nature or artificial, mortal or immortal, and so much more is all to your design as the deity that now emenates and exudes the force of creation itself, all pray for your blessings of inspiration and success, for creation is as never ending as Life and Death.

5.Devastation +8

6.Void +7

7.Desecration

8.Promises +8

9.Domination +2

Lesser Divinities

1.Punishment +9

2.Horrors +4

3.Madness +1

Checking the list, I quickly saw it [Creator] huh?

The ultimate form of creation, that explains everything, just at the description says it is a constant in this world that everything creates, and never stops quite a great addition to my overall list of divinities, not only that but [Devastation, Void, Punishment & Promises] were close to ascending to their next form, this made me smile as it meant I'm getting more stronger than ever before.

I'm eager to see what they turn into, this latest Chaos War has proven most beneficial for me overall.

But I still have somethings to finish before I call quits for now, I know my wives were still tired and sleeping off our last marathon...hehehe...so I'll do as much I can before returning home and make the next move, which involves fully taking Ymir as I originally intended before once again one of my siblings births derailed all my original plans...plus there was still Nagi and her people that I'm still targeting, I deal with my future "Chaos Wood Eldars" later, I still have to make Gleipnir.

So I've returned to my original flight path, and flew straight back to the lone mountain.

Location the Nethervoid-The Top of a Lone Mountain

In a few moments, I've returned to the mountain, once again flying straight to the top and setting down the brass cargo container that had the ore on the side.

I immediately went to work, I already designed and planned exactly what I want from this chain, so all that was left to do was use a FAC and combine with the 1300-Tons of Blood Brass Ore.

So I commanded Aillia to use a Free Absolute Creation, but once it appeared out his body as a orb of light, it immediately answered to his desires and floated straight at the brass contain absorbing it completely, before it flew directly into him.

It was reading my mind and desires as it was creating this new daemonic and godly weapon to add at my disposal.

In a few moments the entire area was filled in a blinding light with hints of maroon in the flash, it was like this mountain became a lighthouse, seems me combining two forces of Warp-energy cause this surge of power, and light meaning that Gleipnir is going to much stronger than I've originally imagined.

As the light began to die down, revealing the nightmarish landscape that is my Nethervoid my latest artifact was complete and I was already equipping it.

As I rised my right claw, on my middle clawed finger was a daemonic maroon colored ring.

It was large, covering the joint of said finger, as I stated it was mainly maroon with a rough, uncut dark amethyst crystal being encased by a daemon finger it arms and mouth holding onto the amethyst, this is Gleipnir's inactive state when I'm not using it, it will remain as this ring, forever bound and loyal to me alone.

I inspected it for a while seeing it also has amethyst colored glowing runes engraved all around the ring, I smile closing my right hand I did a whipping motion and manifesting itself was an astral maroon colored chain from my hand, imitating my hand movement the chain lashed out, stretching as long as I desire so I let do so as it slashed right through the scatter violet rocks in the area.

With another hand motion, the Gleipnir wrapped itself completely on the half sliced rock, with a smile on my face I send a mental command to my new chain, causing each link to sprout sharp dark maroon spikes and bladed that pierced into the bound rock.

I did another gesture with my hand, in a pulling motion to make it squeeze and crush into the the rock completely destroying and slicing it, with another pull the Gleipnir started to retract back into the ring, shortening itself considerably.

As my chain reduced in size I pulled it into my grasp allowing me to closely inspect my new weapon.

Hanging from my claws, was a transparent almost ethereal maroon colored chain I've designed it to be unbreakable and to only physical interact with what I want it to slice, strike and bind.

It was also able to not only add spikes and blades to it links, but also change into any head it desire from a "small" spiked morning star, spear-tip, to a sharp hook and even a pendulum blade.

Since I named after a mystical, mythological artifact of course it main ability that it was bestowed to it by the "generous donation" of my younger brother, Khorne, was its ability to not only counteract magic but bind magical objects and entities, and the more magical power my target has the greater the binding power Gleipnir will have against them.

I was quite please with it's result, letting the chain go and fall onto the violet ground of the mountain, I did one last whipping motion striking the ground as the chain faded away, turning into it's ring form, with that I'm finished my final new artifact to perfectly face magical enemies when I go to the Old World, Warhammer.
