Greece's Last Stand Final Part: The Final Stand of Zeus

(Laharl/Carnage God POV)

Location the God of War World-The Boarders of Macedonia and Thessaly, Greece/Base of Mount Olympus

Poisedon laid broken next to the one armed husk that is Hades, only Zeus remained as my first Elder Daemon, Ba'al Allseer just informed me psychically, that all Olympians have been beaten and captured, like Khorne and Nurgle before me I'd allowed my daemons and beloved Queens to rampage across Greece.

Stronger all of us were stronger and ready to end that last line of defense, of this World.

Zeus has taken a beaten from my younger brothers, and my newest subordinates, the white beard, S-rank ahole stood there surging with magical lightning...but then Zeus, smashed his electrical surging fists together, causing a great, bright, and blinding flash that hit us all!!!

As our vision was returning, I heard the sound of an eagle, and realized that, that coward was running away!!!!

Enraged and from what I can sense I'm not the only one that has gotten angry, is there's one thing that cab piss off Khorne than magic, is cowards running away from battle.

I turned to see Khorne coated in hellfire matching his ever growing rage, as he send out his hellfire chains.

But with Zeus using his damned eagle form he was too small for Khorne to catch, Nurgle and Oizys tried as well with their respected way, Nurgle with his tentacles and Oizys with her black mist, but they failed as well.

I know that with my size I won't be able to catch this damned bastard as well...so I said, "If we can't force him down. BLAST THE BIRD DOWN!!!!" I immediately channel my fel magic power and fire a large ball of fel-fire at Zeus, grazing his tail-feathers.

As I began an rapid fire of fel projectiles at the King of Olympus, Khorne and Nurgle immediately join my barrage, along with Oizys and Moros also adding to the onslaught, but despite the previous joint damage done to Zeus the coward was still flying aka fleeing away from us!!

That's was until the sky turned to blacken night...which really confused me.

Helios or Artemis weren't killed for what Ba'al has informed me, soo the Sun didn't die and despite the moon not being in the stary sky, I know the Moon Goddess was still alive.

So who..? then I realized their is one God in Greece that could be responsible for this.

Then couple amethyst colored flames, started to barely light up the dark night.

The great whitish-silver beauty in dark ethereal style clothing, and light violet lipstick it surprise me that she has her Smite appearance but it was still fitting for the Primordial Goddess of Night, Nyx.

Nyx was holding her candle scepter, sending a wave of black nocturnal energy at Zeus which the damned golden eagle couldn't escape even with his size, for he was completely in that Goddess' domain.

Zeus shrieked as the black star-covered magical wave, consumed him and blasted him back to the earth.

Zeus crashed and was bruised by the impact from his size, he began reverting back to his God form, now the coward is cornered by six Gods now.

I wasted no more time, I rushed in and use my skill of [Chaos Strike] as my left clawed-gauntlet was surging with soo much daemonic, magical, and warp-energies were surging and coating my fist, it burst with deep maroon, violet, black dark colored energies, and fel-green flames.

Before Zeus could completely regain his composure and senses of himself, I was already next to him with my Claw of Hades, drew back and ready to strike, as Zeus just turn to my direction I was already in mid-swing, blasting/beating his face without restrain or mercy.

Surging and blasting all my power through my Claw of Hades, and onto my punch.

Breaking his nose and majority of his skull with my [Chaos Strike] and I send Zeus flying, but before he could get some great air, I saw hellfire chains wrap around upper arms and thighs of Zeus.

I know those chains, Khorne seems to also not being able to restrain himself any further, as the Blood God pulled Zeus to him passing me, using my serpents eyes to see behind myself without turning I saw as Khorne did a overhead slam on Zeus, releasing his chains and followed up with a powerful kick to the God of Olympus, belly sending crashing against Zeus' precious mountain.

I was about to join my brother in the onslaught against Zeus, when I sensed Nyx landing in front of me.

Turning my attention on the Night Goddess, that was bowing in a elegant fashion, as she spoke to me with a respectful and mature womanly sounding tone/voice, "My lord, Laharl Valboga. I am Nyx, the Goddess of Night. Mother of the Moirai, and of Oizys and Moros. I have come to pledge myself to your service, and to become utterly devoted myself and my night to you alone." I was surprised that a Primordial Olympian, would willingly offer herself to my service...I must say this is a welcomed surprise.

I accepted her along with any other Olympians that wishes to accept the ruinous power of Carnage, will become apart of my legion.

I know that both Khorne and Nurgle, have taken new lesser deities under their services as well, but that didn't matter at the moment, right now it was all about crushing Zeus and winning this war completely.

Turning around I rushed back into the fight, with the Night Goddess following as we finally take Zeus power and dominion over Greece for our own.

(Zeus POV)

Location Within the Mountain of Olympus

I groan as I stand up...

Immediately I was hit with pain, circulating from my sides.

After struggling to stand I realized, I was in the cave systems of Olympus...how can this be?

Last I remember, I was fighting against two of the invaders, Khorne and Nurgle.

After the Blood God kicked me onto the side of Olympus, then both the Blood and Plague Gods struck both of them...they hit me with every ounce of strength they could muster.

I looked around and saw a massive hole in the west side of the wall, they've really did hit me through the side of Olympus.

The Skorpius must be hiding in the dark corners of these caves, soo it will most likely stay hidden when...before I could end my line of thought, I sensed a great danger approaching behind me.

I quickly turned my body into pure lightning and flashed away, as a fireball struck the ground I was on.

Reverting to my original state, and looking first at the cloister of rock I was once standing on, as it burned in crimson and blood red flames with dark energy exuding from it, I quickly turned my sight to the hole on the side of the caverns.

I spotted Khorne with his outstretched arm coated in flames, obviously the one who just attacked me.

Khorne jumped into the cavern landing on one of the block for the maze, designed and build by that mortal, Daedalus.

The chains and cables holding that cube, buckled under Khorne's weight but held, as I know I couldn't run and my world...my kingdom was practically taken away from me, the only way to save myself and all of mine is to destroy these invaders!!!

Then the deep, sickly laughter started to echo through these caverns, along with the stench that not even 1000 corpses could hope to compare, also started to perfume and permeate these caverns.

Also jumping to another block...much to my surprise that the bloated God-creature was able to jump, let alone the block's supports would be able to willstand rotten, bloated, fat body of Nurgle.

Finally the familiar roar that belong to the Arch-Daemon, I heard it and flying through the hole was Laharl Valboga.

All three of my mortal adversaries have come to end our battle, luckily seems that those traitors of Moros, Oizys, and lastly Nyx have stayed behind, this can provide some reprieve and opportunity for me to come out victorious.

(General POV)

The trio of Chaos Gods, decided to personally end the battle with Zeus themselves.

Hence the reason that Laharl's newest followers, didn't came with them to caverns inside of Mount Olympus, Laharl was impressed how exactly the caves appear exactly the same as in the God of War 3 game, only ten times bigger than what the game depicted.

But that was not important, he can geek-out once Zeus laid broken before him and his brothers, deciding he wanted to feel Zeus body and bones, break and snap under his claws hence the Dark One, he banished his Ragnarok and prepared to strike alongside his younger brothers.

Zeus knew that him currently couldn't hope to match three powerful Gods on his own, soo he plotted quickly and realized he has one last resort to use, soo he rised his arms and blasted his lightning that surged throught everything and struck every creature on Olympus.

He drained the life-force of all the mortal servents that roam and work around the many levels of Olympus, lightning surged through these souls burning/shocking them to death, taking all their energy and souls unto himself.

Zeus began to transform into a energy and lightning surging projection of himself, with white and light blue sparks of lightning striking and burning the rock, and metal in the area in a constant current.

The trio was not impressed...any of their daemons can achieve this...hell a true Chaos Champion, could also achieve this through vast sacrifice and absorption of souls...

Soo as stated they expected that Zeus' final gambit would be an actual challenge against them, that's when the pure lightning giant that Zeus become, flashed over and struck at Laharl fist with a supercharged lightning punch to the face.

Pushing him back a bit further into the cavern, only for Nurgle to strike Zeus projection with his Phthisis on Zeus' back, Zeus grunted in pain as Laharl re-centered himself, Laharl grabbed Zeus by the throat and drove his Claw of Hades into Zeus' chest and lifting the projection a bit and slam Zeus onto one of the blocks.

Khorne jumped over Laharl and Zeus, stabbing his Unmaker at the projection's right arm flowing hellfire through to Zeus, making the lightning projection scream, as the daemonic flames spread through the projection's form.

Nurgle used his parasite tentacles to swing himself over to his brothers, ready to keep wailing on the last Olympian.

When Zeus caused a burst of blue and white electricity knocking off all three Chaos Gods off of him, he managed to toss Khorne and Nurgle off to the abyss below...only for the damned Arch-Daemon to save them, he caught Khorne's arm and open a strange rift of violet and green that exuded foreign and malignant magic from within.

After Nurgle fell through the rift, the Arch-Daemon open another one over to the large ridge at the side, there Nurgle appeared a bit discombobulated but fine.

The Dark One flew over to said ridge, and set Khorne down as the two brothers helped Nurgle stans up, both thanked their older brother for saving them...of course, Nurgle was his usual open self, while Khorne was more grunting and angry manner...all in all, the usual.

All three them stood side by side watching as the lightning projection of the God of Heaven, stand up and rage against them.

Zeus surged with magical electricity, preparing to blast a massive surge of electricity at the trio.

Once again Laharl use his ability [Bringer of the Realm of Fel] to open a giant breach for himself and his brothers to avoid the massive attack from Zeus.

That attack from Zeus destroyed the ridge and wall with bolts of magical lightning.

He was soo focused in his attack, that he didn't notice the breach open behind him and coming out were all three Chaos Gods.

Khorne slashed the back of Zeus, then grabbing the lower back of the projection and lifting Zeus over him, and performed a powerful suplex on Zeus.

Smashing him against the block surface, this caused the lightning projection to grunt out in pain, as Nurgle stretch all seven of his parasite tentacles bitting/latching onto Zeus, experiencing a small shock through the tentacles, but regardless Nurgle lifted their opponent and started chopping at Zeus.

After the dozen chop from Nurgle's Worldblighter, he unlatched his tentacles and allowed his older brother to attack next.

Zeus wasn't exactly bleeding or showing physical damage, it was clear he was pain especially after the Dark One did his attack next.

Channeling the Lore of Fire, to use his Fire Magic on Zeus he casted [Piercing Bolts of Burning] conjuring fort several spear shaped magical projectiles of fire, bursting with daemonic power, all floating beside the Dark One, as Laharl grabbed Zeus and tossed him over the edge and sent out all the Piercing Bolts at him.

Each of the dozen spear like projectiles of fire hit the God of Olympus, each causing a powerful fiery explosion upon hitting Zeus.

Each blow making the Greek Thunder God, scream in pain as the last of the Piercing Bolts of Burning, the explosion send Zeus flying and crashing over to the far side of the caverns...

Zeus must have temporary black out, as he grunted and stood up only to immediately see all three Chaos Gods were on him.

Laharl, Nurgle, and Khorne all punched Zeus with all their strength launching the lightning projection against the deepest cavern path.

Before Zeus could retaliate, all three brothers blasted the God of Olympus with their respected ruinous power, a torrent of hellfire, a stream of gnats and vile, and a lastly blast of darkness surge throught the cavern and hit Zeus, not only causing massive damage to Zeus' projection and breaking through the rock wall between him and the two things, the Gods' attack and the wall...

Again the battle has taken a new area of combat, immediately the three Chaos Gods rushed to the hole with light shining through the hole.

Location the Mid Level of Olympus

Explosion and rumblimg reverberated throughout the area, breaking through the mountain and structures of one of the settlements build around was the lightning projection of Zeus, that has just burned, defile in vileness, and coated in darkness.

Zeus was about to flash out the way of the still surging attacks of the Chaos Gods, he huffed and gasped for air from the pain he was in.

Regardless of his attempts to fight back, even going as far as draining the life-force of all the mortals on Olympus, to fight against the three Chaos God Brothers with little success...now the ubercharged Zeus has not been able to catch his breath he was just smashed against one of the larger building by Khorne shoulder smashing him.

Zeus grunted as he was about to deliver a lightning punch at the Blood God, only for the Maggotking to grab the arm of Zeus, preventing him from striking his brother as he spewed acidic vile at Zeus' face.

Causing Zeus great pain, as the lightning projection face steamed and burned while this happened Laharl, fired a very weakened [Warp-Ray] from his first upper right serpent's mouth, the ray was powerful enough to blast Zeus further in the highly damaged building.

Khorne stretched out his ignited, upgraded Unmaker and used his [Daemon Cleave: Inferno] destroying everything in a raging inferno of Hellfire Zeus was consumed by the Blood God's infernal flames.

Everything was burned to ash, using all the power he could quickly muster Zeus, manage to quickly flash away from more serious damage.

This wasn't the end Zeus tried to bring down lightningbolts onto the trio only for once again that damned Arch-Daemon to stop his attacks.

Laharl's growing connection to Lightning Magic, has granted a special side-effect as it grew in power, that was [Weather Detection: Lightning] while he didn't really know about this passive ability yet, he still sensed the shift of the weather and the coming of the lightning so he immediately rised his left hand/claw, just like before by using the powers of his God Weapon, the Claw of Hades absorbing all the magical lightning that Zeus cast down on them and again protected his brothers.

This was his second protected brotherly act, which greatly benefited from this selfless act to protect his little brothers, growing in power and connection with Lightning Magic.

As Zeus raged and cut off his magic, once again the three Chaos Gods standing in front of him.

Zeus charged in a flash of lightning hoping to surprise attack Laharl Valboga again, only his move won't work twice against the Dark One.

The Dark One blasted a burst of dark daemonic energy, knocking back Zeus as the dark force was surging through his projection, and all three of the brothers thrust their claws into Zeus' body forcing him down to the ground.

Laharl, Khorne, and Nurgle have driven their hands/claws into Zeus as lightning and thunder burst out the last Olympian's body, Zeus tried to push back the three Chaos Gods that were trying to drain and kill him...Him!!!

The King of this World, but despite all the power that Zeus was generating and trying to use against the Chaos Gods...he was still a badly beaten, and currently being impaled Old Lesser God.

In one last ditch attempt to save himself and his power, he charged as much as his power he could muster given his current situation, and once his whole body was surging with much, more power and electricity, he blasted all that magical electricity at the Arch-Daemon, Blood God, and Rot Lord point blank range.

Zeus' attack was powerful and quite painful for the three brothers, but of course they tanked through the pain and in the end they pierced deeply enough to reach Zeus actual flesh, causing him to scream in agony, that said pain he was experiencing forced Zeus to stop his attack.

The trio finally have what they wanted, a direct line to Zeus' core/soul, Zeus tried again to struggle and fight against the trio but it was too late, the three brothers have grasp onto Zeus' soul and they not letting it go.

The trio and Zeus were literally tearing parts of Zeus.

Zeus was having his power and very essence being torn out from him, just like they've all have done to previous Olympians, screams of pain and agony were coming out Zeus projection as it was reverting back into actual flesh.

The Chaos Gods' claws were piercing in deeper causing now blood to gush out, now their bodies started to glow in white, draining parts of Zeus' essence, it was unlike the other before for the three Chaos Gods.

They drained everything away from Zeus, all taking 33% of his divine power quickly turning Zeus ghostly pale and leaving him, as a barely was alive or sentient at the end they have taken everything that they wanted from one of their main targets...

They pulled out their claws from Zeus' body, soaking said claws in Godblood, they've won at last and Khorne said, "Now shall we get rid of this worthless husk?" Laharl and Nurgle chuckle and agreed with Khorne's suggestion.

The Dark One, conjured his giant daemonic sword into his right claw, and the trio rised high their respected weapons, Ragnarok, Worldblighter, and Unmaker, at the end the all swung down their respected blade cleaving Zeus into three vertical parts and thus killing the husk that was Zeus, but since they drained him of his divine power his death didn't cause great destruction like it did in GOW-III, one of the reasons that the Dark One made sure to point out to all his brothers, wives, and sisters-in-law before they invaded.

All because regardless of the destruction caused by their war against the Olympians, Laharl wanted to assimilate and turn this World apart of their homeworld, and daemonic domains.

Now it was time for Khorne and Nurgle to drain Poisedon, down below and they started descending through the holes they made during their battle against the late Zeus.

Location the Boarders of Macedonia and Thessaly, Greece/Base of Mount Olympus

After a while they reached the base of Mount Olympus, immediately Laharl killed the useless Hades stabbing his Ragnarok through the skull of the former King of the Underworld, another of the Greece Big Three has died.

Khorne and Nurgle walked passed Laharl straight onto the still unconscious Poisedon, Khorne rised his Unmaker ready to stab the King of the Seas, while Nurgle ready his claw...and just like before they drained Poseidon of his power, and Nurgle even took Poisedon's [Earth] divinity for his own.

Khorne and Nurgle turned toward their brother and asked him if he wanted the kill, Laharl laughed as he shuked his head.

Telling them he has already killed Hades, they can decided which among them can kill the husk of Poisedon, he flew away telling them that he'll wait for them in Macedonia, leaving the two younger Chaos Gods with their barely responsive victim.

Khorne saw no honor or worth in killing Poisedon, so he left as well leaving his fate to Nurgle...which frankly be the worst outcome of all the Chaos Gods for the former God of the Ocean.
