283 Destruction of the Olympians Part 4: The Arch-Daemon Attacks

(Zeus POV)

Location the God of War World-The Boarders of Macedonia and Thessaly, Greece/Base of Mount Olympus

I groaned in pain as I cracked my aching bones, and I saw Hades surface from the water around...looking around I realized that, that bastard has managed to not only knock me but my brothers from the battlefield, to the base of Mount Olympus.

I heard Hades groaned and shake his helmed head, then Poseidon emerged in his water giant form, messaging the core that he uses to control that form, clearly in pain which should be impossible in this form there are few that can harm Poisedon, meaning that maroon colored chain that the Arch-Daemon used against them, should be at the same power of the Blade of Olympus, if could not only harm us, as such, but also be able to send me flying along with Poisedon and Hades.

I growled as walked into the Sea, smacking Hades on the back asking him, "Are you well, Hades." Hades groaned a bit more before answering me, "Yes. That soo called "Arch-Daemon", will pay for this humiliation!" I saw as Hades, Helm of Darkness burst with flames to show his anger.

Good I have no need for weaklings, I need Hades and Poisedon to not only kill that Laharl Valboga, but claim that chain as a replacement for my sword, that was stolen from me!!!

Surging with my lightning, I was about to order my brothers to immediately return to the battle when, I and my brothers sensed that our enemy was coming to us instead.

Storms formed above me, and thunder crashed around me, symbolizing my anger, as Hades' chain rattled and Poisedon's steed neighed, this time I'll kill this invader, and all his filth cleansing my realm from their abominable taint!!!

(General POV)

Location Macedonia-Corrupted Plains Battlefield, Chaos vs Olympians

As Olympians lost Hephaestus, and was being restrained and captured by the daemons under the Dark One's command, the beaten, scarred, and badly burned by his thrashing against the Dark Harbinger.

An Abyssal Defiler warrior, along with several knightmares and slaughter calvary were guarding and taking the Smith God away, ad the battle raged on all around the area.

Amongst those fighting most fiercely were the War Gods of both Pantheons.

Bellona swung her sword at Valkia only to be blocked by the Gorequeen's daemonshield, Athena tried to use that opportunity to strike at Valkia, while she was busy fighting against her younger sister, Athena struck with her power coating her golden great spear, increasing it's power and she began attacking with a barrage of fast thrusts at Valkia, careful in not hitting her sister.

Valkia saw the Goddess of Wisdom incoming barrage so she blocked Bellona's latest sword-swing and as they were face to face, Valkia spat out a fireball at Bellona's face by luck she was only zinged by the fire, making the War Goddess back away and pat her face in case of any fire.

The Gorequeen kicked Bellona in the back knocking her away, and allowing the Chaos Goddess to focus on Athena's oncoming assault, with spear and shield ready.

As Athena unleashed her flurry of magical spear thrusts at the Gorequeen, Valkia, she willstood Athena's assault blocking all the thrusts with her daemonshield, while being pushed back bit by bit.

Athena was amazed with the Gorequeen's strength and resilience, against her attacks, as she channeled more of her Godly power through her spear to deliver a powerful final thrust against Valkia, she was punched in the face which caused her to stop channeling magic and back away.

To the favorite Daughter of Zeus, she saw as Bellona angrily look at her with her right fist stretched out...Bellona just punched her!!!

Before Athena could demand an explanation from her sister, Bellona stood in her face and said, "DON'T GET IN MY WAY, ATHENA!!!! THIS IS MY FIGHT, A FIGHT BETWEEN WARRIORS!!!!! Not that you'd ever understood that." Bellona turned to Valkia who was ready to proceed fighting, Bellona summoned her shield and charged at the Gorequeen, with a truly happy expression...Athena, has never seen Bellona act like this or be soo bold to strike at one of her sisters, Athena messaged the punched area of her face, as she too returned to the battle.

At the sametime, Khorne and Ares were exchanging powerful, heavy sword slashes against the other.

When one would slash their sword, the other would block, or push back but regardless it was clear that the Blood God had the unquestioned advantage in this battle.

For Khorne barely looked winded, while Ares was slightly injured and tiring...which he couldn't understand, normally at the midst of battle and war, his divinities would allow him to not only make him stronger but nearly invincible as battle carried on.

But here he was facing another...War God...that when he realized all the power and energy that he should be gaining from this fight, was being intercepted by Khorne, meaning that he was fighting, basically a stronger version of himself!!!

Khorne sensed the growing anger and frustration of his opponent, as he spoke, "Is that all a lesser God can muster against me!!?" Khorne swung his Unmaker, blazing in intense hellfire in a straight, downward slash that Ares barely blocked, as the Blood God put a lot more force into his swing and push of his attack.

Pushing Ares down on his knees, as he was forced to dual handedly wield his sword to resist against Khorne's strength, as the Blood God spoke again, "Pathetic..." and struck Ares with a Spartan Kick to the chest knocking him away.

Without an ounce of mercy, Khorne channel his daemonic power to form, as a large hellish fireball on his right hand.

Looking at the down Ares, Khorne shot the fireball at Ares who couldn't dodge or block in time, as the fireball hit him in the face and exploded!!!!

As the battle between War Gods was just intensifying the Dark One was about to begin his battle against the Three Brother Kings of Olympus...

Location the Base of Mount Olympus

The Dark One has arrived at Mount Olympus, with Zeus, Hades, and Poisedon standing below waiting for him.

Zeus was covered in lightning and clearly angry, Hades helmed covered head was blazing in flame, as he tightened the grip on his famed weapons the "Claws of Hades", and lastly connected to his Ocean kingdom and his crab-like steed the Hippocampi, the multiple water horses neighing in the "lower" part of Poisedon's projection.

As the God of the Seas, didn't wait for Zeus's command as Poisedon commanded the clawed tentacles of his Hippocampi to attack, Laharl Valboga.

The Dark Harbinger saw as four water tentacles came at him, only for Laharl to rise his right claw making the ring of the Chain of Gleipnir causing it to shine for a brief second before, the astral maroon colored chain to manifest and wrap around the Arch-Daemon's right wrist.

As the Hippocampi came closer Laharl used his dark divine power through the Gleipnir turning from maroon to blackish purple, and releasing black mist from it links.

With lash and letting loose the chain, it extended to impossible lengths as a Hippocampi tentacle, dodged the extending chain feeling its wicket power and unknowingly did, as the Dark One desired the beast to do.

Extending and stretching passed Poisedon who began mocking the Dark One's aim and skill, no knowing that Gleipnir and in turn Laharl's true target was the massive shadow cast by Poisedon's water projection.

Diving in the shadow the chain continued to extend and flowing through the shadows, and then, as a couple of the Hippocampi tentacles came close to Laharl with their crustacean claws to pierce and shred the Dark God, when a familiar chain bursted fort startling the Hippocampi.

This happened several times from different locations of the area, confusing Poisedon when he heard his brother, Hades, yell to him, "POISEDON, DON'T MOVE!!!" that's when the Sea God, realized he was trapped within a web of chains...no of the same chain, coming from black void like rift all around the area.

Immobilized Poisedon was forced still, seeing this Hades roared, as his hook-chains pulsate with violet power!!!

He lightly spun his "Claws" before launching them at the Arch-Daemon's chain hoping to break it using, his strength and Godly power when the Claws of Hades made it to the Gleipnir they phased through the chain, unable to grip/hook them, Hades retrieve his weapon not understanding why he couldn't grapple the invader's chain.

Zeus growled as he shot a barrage of lightningbolts at Laharl, only for each of those magical/electrical projectiles to be destroyed by the Gleipnir enraging Zeus, and pleasing Laharl, as the main ability of his chain was more than sastifactory to him.

A weapon to counter magic...and much more, as the Gleipnir appeared around Hades as the zombie-like Titan tried to again to attack, the Dark One's God Weapon, but Zeus sensing the danger evaded the Gleipnir.

Having two of the big three trapped was enough for Laharl, as he commanded his chain to wrap and bind both Hades and Poisedon, and immediately the Godly artifact did as the Dark One commanded of it.

Tightly wrapping around the two Gods, completely restraining them, as Poisedon and Hades tried to break the astral chain bounding them but it was futile.

Zeus seeing his brothers restrained and captured made him both angry and amused, thinking his enemy was counting of incapacitating them all cause he didn't possess a true way of defeating all three of them, he laughed out loud as he thought of this, looking at the Typhon-like monster God that is Laharl Valboga, Zeus began to mock him, "This was your great plan, monster? Trying to capture me and my brothers, so you and your filthy kin, can steal my throne? Hahahahahaaha!!! Fool, you can't defeat Olympus!!!" that's when the King of Olympus, heard the creepy dark, daemonic laughter coming from Laharl.

As his enemy's laughter became louder and more hysterical which annoyed Zeus more than confused him, as he demanded, "What's soo funny, you bastard!?" Laharl calming down as all his eyes were now focused on Zeus, as he answered, "You. Truly think that I'd waste my time, capturing you'll? No. This is soo you can't evade what's next." hearing this alarmed all three Olympians.

Focusing and channeling his magical power of the Lore of Metal, through the Gleipnir caused it to change from blackish purple, to glowing, ethereal silver with white spikes sprouting from each chain-link, and the chain started retract from the lack of Dark energy, but Laharl aid his chain by pulling back the chain with great force!!

This caused the Gleipnir to retract in three times the speed, and shred both Hades body causing blood and scream to burst out the Death God, as he was brought to his knees and forced him to focus on healing and retrieving the most intact parts of his body that were torn off of him, while Poisedon's projection and Hippocampi was torn apart, causing both God and steed great pain, as the chain was returning Laharl quickly lashed Poisedon across the chest and shelter that the real Poseidon was hiding in, the metal magic empowered Gleipnir easily cut through the Sea God's water projection and tore out Poisedon from the Sea.

The water projection started to immediately crumble after being cut off from Poisedon's control, falling apart and dying...

Whilst Poisedon was still in the air, Laharl ceased to channel Metal Magic onto his chain, reverting it to its base form and swinging his right arm and in turn his Gleipnir to wrap around the wounded Sea God, binding Poisedon, as the Dark One pulled his catch toward him.

With Poisedon unable to resist, Laharl reverted his Gleipnir into his ring and as the Sea God was soaring straight at Laharl, the Dark One stretched out his razor-sharp claws of his "Claw of Hades" and swiped at the mid-air Poisedon.

Delivering four deep slashes across Poisedon's chest with blood gushing out the wound sending the badly wounded Sea God crashing onto a small island in the middle of the Ocean around Olympus, still alive but badly wounded.

Zeus never expected Poseidon nor Hades to be brought down soo quickly, as Laharl stretched out his right arm and a humongous, single razor-edged, black blade manifested in his claw, with a black chain wrapping around the mentioned arm, as he heard Laharl speak again, "Soo...what was that about me, not being able to harm Olympians? Zeus?" no waiting for a response, Laharl roared and his serpents all hissed aggressively soaring straight at Zeus, who tighten his fist and coated them in magical lightning...

Location Macedonia-Corrupted Plains Battlefield, Chaos vs Olympians

The battle continued as stormclouds started to covered the battleground a clear sign that Zeus was engaged in battle and quite angry.

The War Gods were still fighting with Ares badly burned and more of his armor destroyed by the last attack of the Blood God, enraged Ares tried to bind Khorne in chains to have a chance to kill the Blood God, only for his plan to utterly fail, as Khorne grabbed said chain.

With a twist of his wrist the Lord of Skulls, wrapped the black around his gauntlet and Ares' neck, with a strong pull he started choking the War God of Greece, Khorne chuckled as he used his great strength to spin around Ares in the air, as Ares struggled to free himself, Khorne was far from being done while his opponent was in his grasp the Blood God channeled his daemonic power to ignite the chain and in turn also Ares, as he scream/choked out in pain.

Coated in hellish fire Khorne spun Ares more before he stopped looking at the opposite direction and with his arm outstretched, and wrapped in black and crimson chain swung down with all force throwing Ares overhead, and snapping the chain from around the Olympian's neck, sending him flying like a great fireball soaring throughout the sky.

Khorne "hmmphed" before looking at the chain that now has his essence flowing through it, seeing as a prize he wrapped around his arm as it began to surge with hellish fire and crimson heat illuminating his entire arm, but Khorne felt no pain or discomfort...instead it felt exhilarating to the Blood God, and the moment he place his clawed armored hand on the handle of Unmaker the blade bursted in so much hellfire as the chain started to extend and link itself onto Unmaker.

Seems that unedvertedly the Blood God has empowered not only himself but his weapon by claiming one of Ares chains, laughing with a pleased tone, Khorne turned to his beloved wife fighting the two War Goddesses and he started making his way to them with the ignited Unmaker resting on his shoulder pauldron...

Location Athens/Greece, the Capital City of the Realm

The people of Athens were relative fine, as Khorne's original attack wasn't "as" severe in the capital than the rest of Greece.

As the soldiers and followers of the Goddess Athena were inspecting the streets for ant signs of the corrupted or the creatures of the invader God, when the sky started to turn black and crimson.

Soaring across the sky was a humongous fireball, people panic and screamed at the sight, scrambling around as the fireball started to fall and eventually crashing against the giant statue of Athena causing a great explosion that shuke the city along with setting the area on fire.

Then two more giant figures started as the people started to recognize one of the two figures and gasped at what they saw...their Lady Goddess, Athena impelled on the shoulder by a spear wielded by horned, fire haired, red armored clad Goddess (Valkia), who held Athena by the throat, as she pulled out her spear, Slaupnir, from the Olympian's shoulder and tossed her into the city below.

Later Khorne and Bellona also emerged engaged in combat as they crashed in Athens as well...
