Beginning

Alexio Solomon, a 40-year-old single history professor. He entered the military when he was 18 and was able to join the marines. He was a First Sergeant and served for 20 years.

Those next two years he did what any normal person would do, he applied for a job, got a house, and dated a few people. He got his master's degree when he was serving.

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

"Remember kids I need a page worth of explanation with comparisons and differences of Rick Riordan and actual recorded Greek Mythology."

"Yes, Professor Solomon," said 30 voices at different times.

After all the students left you could see a 5'10" semi-buff man. This man looked like he had European and Asian descent. His hair was a deep charcoal color which contrasted his light tan completion. His hair was a short fade with a taper and his eyes were almond-shaped. However, his most striking feature was his heterochromia eyes, one blue, and the other green.

"Finally, lunch. Now let's see which book I left off on. Was it the new Apollo book or The Magnus Chase?"

While Alexio was wondering in another part of campus there was a handsome middle-aged man talking to a student in dark clothing.

???: "Michael, you need to be cautious with what you do, just because some jock said some mean stuff does not justify the right for you to beat him unconscious." said sternly

Michael: "Yes Mr. Reid. *He's lucky he is not my target today or he would have been dead*"

30 minutes later

"Finally finished that book after a week. But still, I am excited about the new Chase book."

*KNOCK* KNOCK*

"Come in"

Michael: "Hello Mr. Solomon"

"Hi Michael, how may I help you"

Michael: "Sir I was wondering why I got a C on my History Essay last week"

"You got to see on your history essay because I asked for the reason why it looks as to why Sparta was better than Athens and you explained it was because they had a stronger army."

Michael: "Was I wrong?"

"Not entirely, Sparta was also better than Athens because everyone got educated a little bit which includes women which then was a humongous controversy."

Michael: *What I got a C because I missed a few minor details. Happy I brought my dad's pistol today* Ok, then Mr. Solomon goodbye"

Michael then takes a Glock 19 out of his backpack and shot it toward Alexio, but he missed because Alexio dropped toward the floor when his instinct for danger flared,

Alexio runs toward his desk and grabs his firearm he has hidden underneath the desk. He got up and shot Michael in the leg.

Michael: "AAAHHHH"

"I need security down in classroom 369 and there is a student with a *BANG* gu-"

Alexio looks down and sees a hole through his chest.

Alexio POV

This is it. This is the end, isn't it? Blood keeps dripping to the floor beneath me, hundreds of drops like a crimson rain of death. Yes, this is it, this is the end.

My legs gave in, they became weak and dropped to the cold wood floor below.

I guess this is the end. The end of my life. Karma really is a b*t*h. This is what I deserve after all the blood I shed during my tours.

The irony. I die by the person I killed to protect.

Michael POV

I accomplished my goal but why do I feel so empty?

???: "Security, put the gun on the ground and get on the floor"

I do it unconsciously.

1 month later

Judge: "Michael Smith, for the murder of Alexio Solomon, retired marine veteran and history professor, I sentence you to prison for life with no parole."

"Yes, Judge Saldo"

Alexio POV

???: "Welcome to Limbo"

Alexio: "Huh?"
