7 Urok's Training

Since urok is now bound to me I need to see how useful he could become.

He now possesses a fragment of my ability to devour and get stronger so i'll have to make the most of it.

I searched the forest with urok by my side to find a suitable target to see if urok if worth the effort.

And I found a pack of direwolfs about 3 of them maybe a hunting party as usually an average pack contains about 5 or more.

There is no point in ambushing them they have already picked our scent and seem to be heading our way.

I immediately plunged my claw one of them who was the nearest to me and ripped its heart out and devouring it.

Its companion pounced at urok completely ignoring me as it sensed its no match for me and decided to go foe the easier prey.

I thought urok was a goner because I didn't helped him as I wanted to see if he can even defend himself or is he just good for buttering.

He proved me wrong by immediately raising his spear directly impaling the wolf off-guard mid air.

"Good job urok now go finish the last one and don't fail me" I was encouraging and threatening him at the same time but I only intended to encourage him the last few world's came out of my mouth on their own, I'm changing not only in body but mind and spirit as well and there is no going back.

"I won't fail master "

Urok yelled while charging at the last wolf with his spear raised.

Instead of charging him head on the wold side stepped urok and slashed at his back leaving a nasty wound. Urok screamed but still hung on to his spear and admirably regained his composer relatively quick and thrusted the spear at the wolfs front left leg creating a gruesome wound with flesh sticking out making that leg useless.

I wolf now enraged by the pain charged urok butting him on the shoulder and ripping a chunk out. This time Urok didn't screamed, he just clenched his jaw tightly and the moment the wolf let go of his shoulder urok without wasting a second thrusted his spear into the wolf's right eye impaling its head and ending its life.

From what I observed was that urok's eyes where glowing like a rabid beast ready to pounce on its victim.

And after the last wolf fell he ravenously began to eat the corpse. System what happened to urok?

[Urok gained the host's pain lessening trait and frenzy ability which is activated upon reaching a critical state buffing all stats]

When did I obtained a pain lessening skill?

[Host already possesses skills and traits that the system can't reveal until evolution]

Darn system

Instead of eating the remaining wolfs corpses I decided to leave them for urok as I wanted to test out how long I can survive without meat, my starvation endurance skill should also help me out.

After urok devoured all the corpses his wound was completely healed and his akin was slightly darker and he looked more toned as well.

We then kept heading north and along the trip the terrain changed the trees where now much bigger and temperature dropped slightly but me a urok weren't affected. I don't know if I have some cold resistance but I think should be fine and urok wasn't bothered at all because we were getting near his original home in the north which was actually much cooler then the part of forest we're currently in.

That's when we spotted more orks about two of when wearing large loincloth and primitive clubs in their hands.

I ordered urok to get one's attention

Urok approached them from the bushes under a tree with me waiting above on a branch.   

The orks noticed urok

"Halt right there pesky goblin" it spoke in the same languages as goblins do maybe both specie share a common tongue.

"Who you calling pesky you fat pig"

Urok growled back. The orks nostrils flared up "you dare talk back you insect i'll crush you and- before he could speak any further I had already leapt his companion who was busy laughing at his companion being mocked by a lowly goblin. I am instant his head was in my hand I raised it to my mouth to drink the blood as it turns out that ork blood tastes delicious a little dull compared to human blood but still a delicacy for me as my taste receptors have completely adapted to my new lifestyle.

The headless body fell backwards and the ork who was mocking urok got petrified in fear exactly like the first ork I butchered.

" pig defeat that goblin and i'll let you live fail and be devoured " I spoke menacingly as I sat down with my legs crossed and hands joined in a praying position.

"Y..ye.....yes mighty one" the ork managed to stutter and tried to regain his composure and grinned at the urok thinking that he'll squash him. He approached urok in a casual pace. But urok wasn't going down without a fight but he also knew the size and strength difference between him and the ork.   

Sure I granted him greater strength through the pact but its wasn't enough, he needed to use his brian to win because his spear wouldn't be able to peirce the ork's thick hide.

From what played out before me was disturbing and really if I say disturbing then its truly something one should not witness.

I saw urok sprint towards the ork amd the ork raised its club ready to smash urok to paste. Urok dodged amd the last moment and slid between the orks legs and thrusted his spear using all his might right into the ork's butt.      >:()

Then only a agonizing pig cries could be hurt and the ork went limp and dropped dead. My eyes were wide open but they were so sunken that they appeared the same. Urok wasn't meant to survive this but he somehow did, maybe he's worth the effort.

"Master I slayed the filthy ork" he cheerfully said. I got up clapping for him

"You passed my test but it was one of many pass them all and you'll attain a greater strength fail and you'll perish"

He took those words to the heart and said. " I'll never fail master please allow urok to grow stronger and server master better that before." Hmm his language improved and it seems he's getting intelligent as well.

Now what comes after goblin , a hobgoblin. They're as big as a normal human and maybe even larger with packed muscles and intelligence rivalling and average citizen of the human kingdoms.

So its decided i'll try to evolve him before reaching his village and if he dies then....

I hope he doesn't die

It seems i'm growing attached to him like a pet owner cares for his pet i'll have to do the same but at the same point I shouldn't get too attached as my main goal is evolution and this is just a secondary objective.
