Yue Ling felt a throbbing headache when she tried to open her eyes. She had opened them a bit when a few light Ray's escaped into her eyes, she shut her eyelids and gave up. It was time to let go,they all won and she died. It was all for nothing.

She suddenly woke up hearing cries, whimpers, talking sounds and ripples of the wind.

She was quite uncomfortable, it felt like she was lying on the ground.

Upon waking up, she saw many people lying on the ground and blood on the ground.

A few people were moving around the bodies worriedly. They were dressed as flight attendants.

Ma'am, can you speak? a female flight attendant asked. The lady moved closer to touch her neck maybe to feel the pulse.

Yue Ling was lifted onto a stretcher and soon after they started treating her cuts and other injuries.

All this while she didn't know how she was still alive. Dr. Bai had already said she couldn't make it. She had undergone multiple surgeries by that time.

Her life had nothing much to be proud of, karma hit hard. The path she chose led to her being dead.

She was thinking hard and realized something. The flight attendants, dead bodies and blood made her realise this was the time the plane crashed on her way back to TY city.

It took five days for a rescue team to arrive resulting to deaths of injured people. Back then she didn't think much and selfishly survived on her own. Their flight wasn't short of medicine or food but lacked proper medical experience.

They could do first aid but not major treatment.

Yue Ling didn't dare be carefree this time deciding she must help. What if she suddenly dies because she didn't help.

"I must help lots of people to live longer"she thought.

She was thinking about how to help,she was a doctor but what about the equipment." Right,the cargo",she remembered. In there were things used in hospitals.

She got a flight attendant to get them and decided she'd use those,they were the best and that's what their hospital used.

A large white box was brought and soon after she started treating the major injuries, doing checkups and prescribing medicine.

Yue Ling had gone one by one till around twenty people were done.

As she was going on, a man dressed in a black ripped suit and disheveled hair approached her,he looked worried and asked to speak with her.

"Ma'am, can you come with me?",he asked. She was thinking about what to do when he said it was urgent. He looked desperate so she agreed and followed him.

She was led into a tented spot with a man lying inside motionlessly.

His eyes were closed fiercely and his eyebrows were knitted together.

She turned to look at the man who brought her and he gave her a pleading look. "This man looked scary,mafia boss maybe",she thought.

Yue Ling inched closer and felt his pulse, he was hesitant at first but stopped when she mouthed, "Sir,I'm going to do a bit of a checkup on him"

Yue Ling noticed his forehead veins were bulging and he was uncomfortable.

"Turns out it's mania",she thought. She stitched him up and bandaged him. As she was leaving, he opened his eyes before she stood up. His eyes were bloodshot red and pretty scary. She was shocked but he suddenly said"thank you". His voice was deep and pleasant. She said it was ok and left.

Han Li was still flustered hearing his boss say thank you when he glared at him.

"You are letting strangers touch me, treat and even do checkups",he said furiously.

The little assistant didn't know what to say and helplessly thought,"Why didn't you refuse if you didn't want to,you even thanked her."

Another shock arrived when his boss grinned evilly and said,"Check on her when we get back,all details, safety matters."

In the next few days, Yue Ling helped many people and barely slept. Almost everyone called her little doc,in her past life she never bothered about saving lives. It was all about the money and profits. She wondered if this was still her, saving so many people for nothing, expecting nothing in return .

Now felt different and she didn't know why but there was a difference between when she saved lives for money and now for humanity.

The medicines she was bringing from the research institute came in handy too. In her previous life it was just used as a tool by her to take over L.F.

After the rescue team arrived and everything was cleared. Yue Ling left immediately and she was glad many people survived.

TY city was one of the Eight top cities in Country Y,it was business based but two great hospitals thrived in the economic city. Yue Ling grew up in this city and had died here in her previous life.

She reached home and a wave of nostalgia hit her at the entrance. It was a two storey building her mother purchased when they started living alone and also their start after they left the Lin Manor.

She knocked the doorbell and Aunt Xu opened for her, she hadn't aged much from what she remembered. Everything was also the same in the house. She'd taken such minor things for granted in the past.

Ling'er ,her mom called,it seems she was scared because of the plane crash.

"Mom",was all she could say. She let her mother down in the past. Despite all that , when she needed someone to go to,her mother always welcomed her.

Yue Ling didn't know how and why she was reborn but she was sure not to repeat her mistakes, everything will change this time and I will be sure to protect my loved ones,she thought.
