6 Ch.3

"If you want to learn, stop by sometime."

Kisuke offered before waving and walking back into his shop.

"I've learned a lot."

Toshiro thought to himself as he held the necklace.

"Ready?"

Ichigo asked as his hand rested on the doorknob of their house

"Let's get this over with."

Toshiro nodded with an amused expression.

Swinging the door open, Ichigo and Toshiro dodged a kick meant for their faces. Ichigo dodged to the left as Toshiro went right. Grabbing his father's head in a falling headlock, Toshiro gave Ichigo the signal to finish it.

"Elbow drop."

Ichigo called out the move excitedly as his elbow buried into their dad's stomach.

As he lay on the ground, Twitching, and groaning, a young girl decided to pour some salt in his wound.

"You'd think someone would stop surprise attacking if they ended up on the floor every time."

The girl said without any sympathy

The girl has straight and cropped hair that hangs around her face, just above her shoulders. Her eyes are large and dark grey. She's wearing sportswear consisting of knee-length leggings with a white tee and an open jacket.

Isshin let out another groan of pain at the words from Karin.

'Toshiro, Ichigo, and Karin, why do my kids like to bully their old man? At least I have Misaki and Yuzu.'

Isshin thought to himself as he noticed Yuzu coming his way with worry evident on her face.

"You two didn't need to be so rough with him."

Yuzu scolded lightly as she tended to Isshin. In contrast to Karin, Yuzu has short light brown hair, with bangs hanging over the right side of her forehead. She wears a red hair clip, and her soft eyes are dark brown. She's dressed in a green sweatshirt and jeans.

"We wouldn't have to if he didn't attack us at every turn."

Ichigo defended.

Weakly raising his head, Isshin smirks.

"You two have improved, especially you, Ichigo."

Choosing to ignore his dad, Ichigo follows his nose to the kitchen where his mom is placing some food on plates.

Greeting his mom with a hug, Ichigo told her about his day and walked upstairs with Toshiro not far behind.

-Sometime later-

Laying in bed, Toshiro gazed at the ceiling while scanning the surroundings.

"She's here."

He said with a smirk tugging his lips before stepping outside his room and leaning outside of Ichigo's door.

The conversation played out normally.

"You can see me?"

"Uh, hello, you're standing in the middle of my room, of course, I can see you"

yada yada yada

After laughing a bit at Ichigo face planting, Toshiro used shunpo to get on the roof.

'Two hollows? Has his name all over It.'

He thought before wincing at his brother was narrowly rescued from the jaws of a hollow.

"You are a fool, a normal human can't match a hollow."

She said while looking over her injuries.

"I can't fight with these injuries. Do you want to save your family?"

"Just tell me how."

"Ichigo replied with determination

'I won't freeze up like 'that' time ever again.'

He clenched his fists as their eyes locked

"You must become a soul reaper."

She said before weakly lifting her sword

"You must take my zanpakuto and run it through the center of your chest, I'll do the rest from there."

"Then give me that blade, soul reaper."

He replied without hesitation as the hollow charged

"My name is Rukia, Rukia Kuchiki."

"Ichigo Kurosaki."

Nodding, Rukia shoved the blade through his chest as a bright light enveloped him. In the blinding light stood Ichigo in the black clothes of a soul reaper with a large blade slung over his shoulder that had just cleaved one of the hollows arms off.

Not giving it any time to recover, Ichigo charged and sliced it down the middle.

Turning to the second hollow, Ichigo readies himself.

*Bang

As the shot rang out, It traveled faster than the two could perceive and pierced the hollows forehead.

Hoping down to the shocked duo, Toshiro snatched them up with shunpo and disappeared.
