2 Chapter Two: Back To Four Years Ago

Fang Xinyi sat up and looked at herself and saw that she is looking fine not like someone that's sick

"Was I revived?" She mused

"Didn't I just die, how come I am alive. Could I be dreaming???." She thought aloud and scratched her hair. And looked around.

"Ding, Ding…." Her phone pinged beside her.

"This phone looks old. This was the phone before I got married to Long Chen." She thought and checked the message.

"Happy married life." She read out and checked the date.

"What!!!." She screams, it's the 3rd of March 2019. A day after marriage.

Long Chen entered upon hearing her screams.

"What happened?" Long Chen asked confusedly.

She stared at Long Chen in shock.

"Aren't you dead." She asked quizzically

Long Chen stared at her as if she had gone nuts.

"If I'm back in 2019. That means I'm reincarnated. But how come that Chen is unable to remember? Isn't he dead." She thought, still staring at him.

"Since life has given me a second chance. I have to make sure that I make better use of it. I won't let you go in this life, Long Chen. I'll hold you tightly." She was determined.

Long Chen stood beside the bed amusingly staring at her facial expressions which kept changing.

"Hubby, good morning." She greeted Long Chen cheerfully and stood up from the bed to peck his cheek.

"Hubby??. Could this be one of her new acting skills." Long Chen thought as he stared at her with his eyes almost bulging out of its sockets.

He quickly regained his composure and moved away from her.

Xinyi snorted and moved closer to him.

"What's wrong?" She couldn't help but to ask even though she knew that he's surprised but if she can guess correctly.

She fought with him last night refusing to sleep in the same room with him, she almost made the wedding a mess.

If not for her parents' interventions, he is pretty sure that the wedding wouldn't have happened. So how is it possible for her to change her mindset about him overnight?

"Hubby." She whines, hugging him.

Long Chen hugged her very tightly, feeling happy.

"How was your night's rest?" He asked.

"It's splendid." She answered and immediately her phone rang again.

She broke the hug and took her phone on the bed.

She rolled her eyes upon Shi Weiwei's name flashed on her phone screen.

Long Chen moved away from her and sat on the sofa.

"Bitch." She mutters under her breath, her gaze turning fierce.

She picks the call putting on speaker mode

"Hello."

" How are you doing? I hope he didn't hurt you."

The man turned gloomy and his face darkened upon hearing that.

"How can my husband possibly hurt me? He loves me right??." She said, looking at Long Chen questioningly.

"He doesn't love you. Why will he force you into marriage with me if he truly loves you."

"Why are you trying to sow discord between me and my husband? And that, on the second of marriage."

"No, don't think that well. I only want the best for you."

"Ok."

"Can I come to visit you today?"

"No, I'm going to accompany my husband today."

Shi Weiwei is speechless, not knowing what to say.

"Are we fighting?"

"What makes us think like that? How can we be fighting."

"You're acting strange."

"I have to go now. My darling husband is already missing me."

Shi Weiwei was lost in words.

"What's wrong with her? Why is she acting strange? I have to make sure that she doesn't reciprocate his love." She thought.

Long Chen sat on the sofa cross legged staring at Xinyi. He pressed the intercom next to the sofa.

"Get me two cups of coffee." He said into the intercom.

"Yes young master." A lady replied.

Xinyi hanged the call and switched it off then went to sit down on Chen's laps hugging his neck.

Long Chen was given another shock again in the day. His body reacted to her touch. He grunted uncomfortably.

"What are you doing." He asked hoarsely.

"Nothing. I'm only sitting on my Hubby's laps." She said.

"Knock, knock.." Someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." Long Chen says.

The door opens and a lady in a maid attire comes in.

Fang Xinyi snuggled into Long Chen's embrace upon seeing the lady.

She smirked when she saw the lady jealous face.

"I won't let you succeed in this life." She mutters.

"Drop it on the table and get out." Long Chen said coldly thinking Xinyi is embarrassed because she hugged his neck tightly.

The lady quickly obliged and walked out sadly.

She is the head maid of the Jiang mansion. She has been with Long Chen since he was little and have some feelings for him.

Fang Xinyi unhooks her arms from Chen's neck when she felt something pricking her underneath which keeps growing minute by minute. She blushes furiously and excited that she was able to have such effects on him.

She stood up from his leg trying to avert her gaze.

Long Chen smirked seeing her reaction.

"What's wrong. Ain't you my wife. Why act that way. You should come and take care of it" He said nonchalantly as if it's nothing.

Fang Xinyi blushes and ran off to the bathroom.

"Chen, you are an hooligan." She cussed.

"Don't stay there all day. You promised to accompany me today." He said after her.

"When did i promise him that. He must have heard that when I was talking to that white lotus." Thinking of which made her furious and angry.

Kang Li has been trying to contact Fang Xinyi but it's to no avail.

"Why am I unable to contact her. Could it be that she has changed her mind after getting married. I have to make her be mine. She is my climbing ladder to success. I can't afford to lose her right now." He thought.

Kang Li comes from a middle class background just like Fang Weiwei. They hung to her for fame and popularity. After all, who wouldn't want to be rich and wealthy.
