CHAPTER START---

Sitting in his seat Jin watches his classmates perform the academy jutsu one by one. All except Naruto who still fails spectacularly,

'All that talk about being the Hokage without me and you still drop out, good. Fetch me my S rank jutsu.'

As Naruto fails Jin immediately starts planning for later that night.

"Alright everyone, tomorrow your Jounin sensei will be here to get you into teams so be here for the regular time, I know you will all be fine shinobi and bring honor to the leaf!" Iruka says with much passion from his heart.

"Hey Naruto, ramen on me tonight all you can eat ok so come find me when you're ready, I'm gonna go train." Jin lied as he walked out of the room, leaving Iruka to break the bad news to naruto.

As he left the room he only went to the roof and waited for Naruto to leave the building. Before long he felt naruto's chakra move toward the Hokage building and followed at just the edge of his range.

"Damn I wish the manga told me he would take this fucking long, it's been hours" Jin mutters to himself as he waits for Naruto to make his move. Before much longer he feels Naruto quickly moving away from the building. "Finally," he says while quickly making to follow Naruto.

As he makes it to the forest he finds a hiding spot and waits for the coming fight. After a few more minutes of waiting he suddenly feels a large wave of chakra from the direction of the fight and leaves his hiding spot to approach.

From almost a hundred feet out he can see the mass of orange through the leaves and slows his pace down a bit. As more and more clones disappear he continues to approach the fight.

Arriving just as Iruka is leaving, he sees an upset naruto standing in the clearing and approaches him.

"Hey, Naruto, why didn't you come to find me. It's ramen time," Jin says, doing his best to act as if he doesn't know what's going on.

"I-I, uh." Naruto can't even respond to the boy.

'I guess I should just jump ahead in my plan and get it over with' Jin thinks as he moves to envelop Naruto in a tight hug.

"I heard everything Naruto."

As he says this Naruto stiffens up, tears begin forming in his eyes.

"The demon killed my parent, lots of kids in the orphanage lost their parents that night, but you're my brother, not some demon fox. You were just a baby like me. It's not your fault." He says as he pats Naruto's back.

Receiving his reassuring words Naruto finally raises his arms and returns his hug, finally letting the tears flow as he cries in Jin's arms.

After almost 10 minutes of consoling Naruto, Jin finally decides to get the night moving.

"How about I treat you that all you can eat ramen now and you can teach me that awesome new jutsu?"

"YEAH, LET'S GO!" Naruto cheers, finally starting to return to his old self. This causes a genuine smile to form on Jin's face.

---Later That Night at Ichiraku Ramen...

As Naruto moves onto his 12th bowl of ramen, Jin has long since been done with 3, the 2 boys enjoy their last meal together before becoming genin.

"Hahaha ah man you were so bad back then, I still can't believe you thought that would work!" Jin jokes with his friend.

"Hey most people don't have chakra control like you ok! Besides now I can make soo many of them at once. Even Sasuke can't do that." Naruto responds with vigor.

"Hey, Naruto," Jin says in a lower voice. "Remember when we had our first meal together here 8 years ago?"

Suddenly feeling his excess excitement leave him Naruto replies softly, "Yeah, I can't forget that."

"Well, I've had your back since that day, we grew up together. I meant it when I said we're brothers ok. So, if I don't get put on a team with you. Just promise me you'll be careful out there ok. I don't wanna lose my brother." Jin says in a solemn voice.

Hearing him say this, the ramen man and his daughter can't help but smile at the 2 boys. Once alone but now they have each other.

"Don't worry, how else am I gonna be Hokage right, just worry about yourself" Naruto responds in kind.

"Good, now I need to get going to try out that new jutsu, then I'm gonna get some rest. Good luck tomorrow naruto."

As Jin raced back to the orphanage at the edge of Konoha he quickly ran to the clearing behind the building and into the forest from there. After being sufficiently far enough, he prepared himself to use his most essential Jutsu.

'As long as I have this, 8 years of focusing on chakra natures and chakra control will come in handy. I'll be able to master any jutsu in a few days easily. Ok, here we go.'

"Tiger seal, Horse Seal, Clone Seal. Multi shadow clone jutsu." Jin says as he summons the shadow clones.

With his Rinnegan amplifying his chakra as it did for Nagato and his enormous Uzumaki chakra reserves he summons the maximum of the jutsu. 2000 Jins are now standing in the forest.

At least for a moment before they all pop, "AHHHHH!" he yells out and drops to the ground. Clutching his head from the immense pain of what he just dealt with.

After a few minutes, he finally rose to his feet, wiping the blood dripping out of his nose from the mental overload he just experienced he begins to assess his situation.

'Ok, no fucking wonder Nagato never used clones. The Rinnegan linking us all without the receivers filtering out all the connections can make my fucking brain explode. 2000 Different sets of senses connecting at once is way too much. Something smaller'

"Multi shadow clone jutsu"

*POOF*

Suddenly 20 Jins appear in the clearing around him.

"Ok, this, is manageable. Maybe if... Deactivate your eyes."

As the clones deactivate their eyes the extra senses still remain.

"Fuck, then it's not just because of that. It's because they have my chakra just like my summons and puppet bodies would. I guess I can't cheat with clones like naruto did to train faster."

Deactivating his clones he ran back to the orphanage and went to bed, excited at the prospect of finally being able to take missions and move out of the damn orphanage.
