There were only 10% of trees left in the Rain-forest compared to 2020. The previous 20 years had been very tough on it. A DUMB president of the World's Top Superpower 'withdrew' from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change in the year 2017, one year after winning the Rigged Elections in 2016. He told "Climate Change was a hoax invented by the Chinese to make the US manufacturing less competitive", completely disregarding the research and analytics of most of the scientists all around the world. He also ignored that even China was taking Climate Change seriously.

He got elected again in 2020 after rigging the election, once again. In the minuscule chance of him reading this novel, I won't mention the method he used.

But he decided that Non-Renewable Energy resources were also very important and part of our heritage. He reopened various coal-related activities, petroleum refining and distribution was at an all time-high, and there were multiple nuclear plants in every state.

The Country gained enormous wealth, though it would have no value if the natural resources would deplete. Scientists realized this and tried to express themselves in various ways but they were shut down by the Government and Business Behemoths. Even Media was on the wrong side, albeit unfortunately.

This was because the Article about the Freedom of Media from the Bill of Rights was taken down. Rich Businessmen and Government Officials basically had the control over the flow of information to the public and indirectly had control over the public.

Some Scientists who went overboard and tried to express themselves in social media had their accounts removed. Some were even threatened by the Mob, who were now working together with the Government. Some vanished. With no trace to be found.

The main problem was that other countries were following their suit. By 2025, all countries did.

In the year 2030, earthquakes were happening every place on Earth. Houses made of Concrete, Stones, Bricks and such were no more a viable option due to the enormous casualties they were causing.

They needed a new material. A material that was light, sturdy, easily available and cheap. Wood.

People started building wooden houses. A Large-Scale Deforestation started to take place. Forests from all over the world started to get invaded. All laws based on were taken down due to the unanimous decision by all the world leaders.

Earth was nearing it's doom very quickly.

Currently, it was 2040. The nature was punishing people very often. People in power were started to get anxious. They started to gain some mental diseases due to the stress of the overall situation. Especially, the local bosses. They were getting paranoid. Due to this, a path opened by which the world could be saved,

In the center of the Amazon Rain-forest, there was a huge tree which seemed to exist and not exist at the same time. You could not see it. You could not touch it. You could hear it's leaves whistling, you could smell it's flowers giving out a wonderful fragrance and if you stood near it, it would calm your soul.

Yggdrasil, The World Tree. The tree that ruled over the laws of the world. The tree which is the source of Vitality: The Source of Life.

Many have wondered how was life possible? How could you create life? Was it possible to arrange some molecules in a specific order and places and create life? Then, why couldn't people create life? The answer was: Yggdrasil. Not that people are aware of it.

Vitality is the life source of every living thing. Once you run out of it, you die.

On one of the leaves of Yggdrasil, a beautiful butterfly could be seen. It was green in color and its pattern was mesmerizing. It could very well blend into any leaf, unless you observed it properly.

Latvian. Goddess of Fate. Fate Butterfly. It had many names. It governed over Space-Time and flow of Reality.

It noticed a change in fate somewhere in the US. This was absolutely shocking since it was one of the phenomenon that happens only once in a millennium.

But the shocking thing was that three of these phenomena happened simultaneously.

Three People had bent Reality.

These Three people were given a second chance to escape fate.

This story is about one of the three people.
