14 The Man who was in a Bad Mood

Wen Huiyi was Jiang Yanxu's younger brother, who was four years younger than him. Wen Huiyi's mother was Jiang Yanxu's father's younger sister, so that was why Wen Huiyi always spoke very friendly to him.

Unfortunately, Jiang Yanxu was an autonomous person, so it was difficult for everyone in the Jiang Family to have a conversation with the man. Moreover, if it was just small talk, Jiang Yanxu would either ignore them or wouldn't hesitate to chase them away.

Having a firm and strict principles, Jiang Yanxu was known as a fierce wolf who guarded his territory with a strict ideology. It wouldn't be surprising anymore as the attitude was directly passed down by his father. The strict upbringing of his father certainly became the basic thing that formed Jiang Yanxu's personality to become an independent, hard, firm, and apathetic person.

During his life, Jiang Hanxu always said firmly to Jiang Yanxu: "Don't go down if you don't want to be stepped on and don't go up if you're afraid of heights. Life is easy. If the world resorts to violence, then you have the choice to either stand the same way or allow yourself to die in the most grievous way," the words that made Jiang Yanxu have a strong defensive wall to this day.

His authoritarian leadership made people forced to bow as if they were dogs who were educated to act like wolves. People wanted to run away, but they couldn't because once they stepped out of the Jiang Family's authority, they were just weak prey that would be crushed to death by other wolves.

Hence, people who had established business relations with that family would only always depend on the leader in the Jiang Family as if their fate was in the man's hands.

Everyone had learned Jiang Yanxu's attitude carefully and would only talk to the man if it was something important and urgent.

Wen Huiyi was also such a person. However, Wen Huiyi had a better temper compared to Jiang Yanxu. Wen Huiyi would be friendly to his family and would just ignore others, and if it was about a business matter, Wen Huiyi could be more serious.

Nonetheless, despite being known as a dictator, Jiang Yanxu was very gentle when it came to his love affairs. People found out that his relationship with Ye Xinxin was insane and they knew that the only one who could tame a wolf-like Jiang Yanxu was Ye Xinxin; a weak, fragile, and spoiled young man. The worst thing was Ye Xinxin's father was a hereditary enemy of the Jiang Family!

People initially wouldn't think that a ferocious wolf would be docile to a little cat, but reality seemed to slam their belief in the world and had the view that Jiang Yanxu had a weird attraction to something he found 'cute'. It was too hard to imagine, also too ridiculous to think about.

Many people were worried about Jiang Yanxu's attitude of always pampering and obeying the young man's wishes, wherein they believed that Jiang Yanxu's weakness regarding his romance would lead him to the worst things. But, none of them dared to say their thoughts directly, not even Wen Huiyi.

They all knew that Jiang Yanxu wouldn't listen to anyone. The worst-case else, Jiang Yanxu could take it as a 'disobedience' manner, then cut off their business cooperation.

Wen Huiyi also thought the same. He had been watching Ye Xinxin's gestures lately and concluded that the young man had started acting arbitrarily since they hadn't yet gotten married.

Wen Huiyi thought that if there was a choice between Ye Xinxin and Yan An, then Wen Huiyi wouldn't hesitate to say that Yan An was much better than Ye Xinxin. Apart from Yan An having good manners, Yan An also looked more classy compared to Ye Xinxin who looked like a prostitute.

Until now, Wen Huiyi still couldn't figure out why his eldest brother would prefer that the prostitute over his own wife.

In the long silence, Wen Huiyi could be heard sighing languidly. Being constantly ignored, Wen Huiyi started to seem awkward with his eldest brother, so he was reluctant to say many words and chose to remain silent by the man's side.

After celebrating the feast, Wen Huiyi drank heavily all night after he was forced to finish a bottle of wine. His head was still aching but he'd gotten a little better.

When he was about to get some fresh air outside, he accidentally saw that his eldest brother was alone, so he approached the lonely man to accompany him to talk.

However, as soon as Wen Huiyi saw Jiang Yanxu's stiff expression, Wen Huiyi could tell that Jiang Yanxu was in a bad mood.

Even though Wen Huiyi asked the man, he didn't really expect any answers. Wen Huiyi understood Jiang Yanxu's characteristics so well that Jiang Yanxu was very difficult to speak when his mood was at its worst. So, after Wen Huiyi waited a long time and got no response, he fell silent, reluctant to find out what was really going on. It would only worsen Jiang Yanxu's current feelings. If Wen Huiyi wasn't kicked away from him, the worst thing would be that he could be thrown into the sea.

Wen Huiyi took out a pack of cigarettes even though he didn't really want to smoke, then offered them to Jiang Yanxu. Still not getting any response, Wen Huiyi took that as a serious rejection.

The man's silence was truly terrifying. Wen Huiyi felt so sorry for approaching the man at the wrong time.

However, since Wen Huiyi was already here, he was trying to find interesting topics to talk about, so he thought hard about it until he found something. As soon as Wen Huiyi opened his mouth to speak, Jiang Yanxu's deep and deep voice seemed to cut off his breath all of a sudden.

"I feel uneasy in this place ..."

Wen Huiyi narrowed his eyes, he asked carefully, "What's going on?"

Jiang Yanxu heard the question, but he deliberately didn't answer it.

"I have to return as soon as this ship arrives in Italy," Jiang Yanxu muttered.

Hearing the name of the country, Wen Huiyi suddenly remembered something, so he interrupted instinctively, "I heard, after your divorce, Yan An was there to continue his art study."

Jiang Yanxu was dumbfounded as soon as he heard Wen Huiyi's words. He turned towards Wen Huiyi, looking at the young man with disbelief in his eyes.

His mouth opened slightly as if he was about to say something, but his tongue seemed to be entangled in his own words, making it difficult for him to string words together.
