Yan Chen 3

After many days passed.

Yan Cheung has to go visit Feng Wu but can't hide from his older brother so he has to bring his older brother along.

When they reach the entrance fence gate, Yan Cheung saw Feng Mu who crunch down teasing AnAn near the peach blossom trees.

" Feng Feng!" Yan Cheung ran up to Feng Wu.

Yan Chen also saw Feng Wu and a white wolf under the trees. He thought that his younger brother's friend is a man but never thought it was a girl. When he walked closer, he froze as he saw Feng Wu stand up and turn to face them. Yan Chen feels like he saw his mother. Her face is similar to his mother's and the white dress robe she wore is like an angel and her face is clean, white, and flawless. He almost calls out for his mother but remembers that the young girl is too young to be his mother.

Feng Wu stand up turn to face Yan Cheung and Yan Chen. She looks at the man behind Yan Cheung deeply. He wears a gray-white dress robe with all his hair tied up into a bun neatly and it has a blue-white jade coronet crown and the same color of hairpin go into the coronet crown. His face is similar to Yan Chen so she knows that they are relative but his aura is more nobility and dangerous than Yan Cheung.

" What are you doing here?" Feng Wu went to the table near her and pour some tea.

" Hehe... I want to come to visit you. I was only gone for a couple of days and now you are not welcome me? How sad!" Yan Cheung drinks a cup of tea.

AnAn who sat at the ground stand up and be on guard as Yan Chen approached close. He ran to stand near Feng Wu, looking fierce and growling at Yan Chen.

Yan Chen saw as he scare the wolf might attack his older brother so he quickly introduce Yan Chen.

" This is my older brother, Yan Chen."

" Cheung, you know I don't like strangers and you still bring him over?" Feng Wu narrows her eyes as she glances at Yan Chen.

Yan Chen who is in a daze snap out of his mind and stare at Feng Wu in deep gaze.

" Sorry, Miss Feng if I came uninvited. I just want to meet the friend who makes my younger brother linger in the village for so long. I hope Miss Feng who is nice won't mind."

" Young Master Yan praise me too much. I don't have enough food to feed people for free. You can visit as you want." Feng Wu doesn't know what to say since Yan Chen put the word nice for her so she can't just shoot him away. Then she patted on AnAn to calm him down as he doesn't like strangers. That makes AnAn stop and crunch down near her feet, sleepy.

Xiao Li came out with some dessert and drinks. She was shocked at how handsome Yan Chen is. Her mouth can fit in an egg already.

"..." Feng Wu was speechless at Xiao Li's expression.

" Xiao Li, you can close your mouth already or your saliva will leak out."

Xiao Li hurry wipes her mouth but there is no saliva, she is blushing at how her young miss teases her. She went to put the dessert and drinks on the table and ran away.

"..." Yan Cheung was speechless at Xiao Li's action and how fast she ran away.

"..." Feng Wu doesn't know how Xiao Li would act if she saw other handsome men again.

Yan Chen did not feel bothered or different since he had already gotten used to it. So he drinks and eats without care of Xiao Li's action.

After spring passed, summer begins.

Today is hot, Feng Wu went to pick some herbs and flowers from the forest near the stream. She could feel that her heart is hurting on and off so she want to get some relives medicine for her before it is worse. Yan Chen came to the stream and saw Feng Wu is panting as her face is pale with pale lips.

" Are you okay?" Yan Chen was worried although he doesn't talk a lot he would try to make a conversation with Feng Wu.

Feng Wu inhales softly and shakes her head but she vomited some blood out as her heart gets hurt intensely. She use her hand to press her chest but it still hurt. Yan Chen intend to go helped her but saw someone in black clothes and shot an arrow straight at Feng Wu's back. He was shocked as he did not think about anything and went to hug Feng Wu and block the arrow but the arrow miss it and hit the trees.

Yan Chen looks down at Feng Wu's face and he knows that Feng Wu is in pain now so he needs to get her out of this place.

" Hang on, I will get you out of this place. Len!"

Len who is the shadow guard came out to deal with the assassin. Yan Chen took Feng Wu back to the house. Yan Chen was at the table outside and saw how bloody Feng Wu is.

" Big brother, what happened? How did Feng Feng is covered in blood?!"

" Go get a doctor right now! She is in pain!"

" Young Miss?! What happened to her!?" Xiao Li was so worried and start to cry.

Yan Cheung has already gone to get a doctor. Yan Chen lay Feng Wu down on the bed and his heart feel distressed.

" Go get some water and heat some hot water."

"Mm!" Xiao Li ran to get stuff ready.

Yan Chen's dress rope is covered in Feng Wu's blood. After he saw her, he decide to stay and investigate to see if Feng Wu relate to his mother but he did not find enough information about her, only knowing that she is Feng Wu from the Feng clan. But he is still puzzled as to why did the Feng clan send her who is only six years old to come to live in the countryside by herself. He had heard that her mother had died after she give birth to Feng Wu and her father doesn't care about her. He feels pity and sympathy for Feng Wu so he decided to stay and watch over her.

Feng Wu feel pain as she could not breathe and turned sideways as she vomited some dark blood.

The doctor and Yan Cheung walk in and saw this scene.

" Doctor, please check my friend. She kept vomiting blood." Yan Cheung has stayed with Feng Wu for so many months now but he never asks why Feng Wu would vomit blood since is a personal question but now he regret not asking.

" Okay. I will check. Please move to the side." The doctor went up to check Feng Wu's pulse.

Yan Cheung and Yan Chen move to the side and wait for the doctor. Xiao Li came inside with some hot water and a towel, she put the stuff on the side table as she waited anxiously.

The doctor put Feng Wu's hand down and cover her with a warm blanket.

" What did this young miss have eaten before? It seems like she got the poison. It is not serious but it will cause an effect on her. You guy should find what kind of poison and antidote before too late."
