Chapter 9

Hiruzen POV

It was late at night. After the two genius has graduate from the academy at the age 5 year old. I looking through all the possible Jounin to nuture the new flame. To be honest, even I was surprised by their intelligent.

Hatake Kakashi. As expected from Sakumo's son. The Hatake clan is know for their lightning release but I heard from the youth ninjutsu competition that he is able to used high level jutsu. But after Sakumo death, Kakashi hearts has shallow in darkness.

As for Kazama Ryou. I know his is an orphan but to be able rival against Kakashi intelligent in terms of ninjutsu, taijutsu and shurikenjutsu is something that I didn't expect it. Danzo also has an eyes for the kid but I managed to make him back down.

Jiraiya: "Look like you having a little bit of trouble there old man"

I heard the voice and look up to see Jiraiya standing at the door.

Hiruzen: "Jiraiya, welcome back. Do you have anything to report."

He throws me the scroll of his report, I read it. Jiraiya make his way and noticed the Genin book.

Jiraiya: "So, have you figured out where to put these two genius huh"

I shook my head indicated is a no. Jiraiya stare at Kazama Ryou picture with a deep thought

Jiraiya: "Hey old man, let my disciple handle that brat."

Hiruzen: "It seems that you are interested in Kazama Ryou. Can you please tell me why?"

Jiraiya explained that he saw Ryou genius first hand. I was shocked to learn that a 5 year old boy who is still in the academy can complete Minato's jutsu that he been creating for two whole years.

With a new information about Kazama Ryou, I thought for a moment. At first, I was going to give it to Tsunade to help her overcome the death of Dan and her trauma for blood but Shizune has been helping her. Orochimaru is out of the question and Jiraiya maybe a good candidate but since Minato is the one teaching him, it only natural that he will be Minato disciple.

Hiruzen: "All right, Jiraiya. I'll go with your suggestion but since those two are like fire and water. I'll put both of them under Minato."

Jiraiya: "Sure, old man"

Jiraiya then left from the office.

I look back at the profile and it reminded me of how Jiraiya and Orochimaru. Ryou's will shine brighter than anyone. I know for sure he will be the one who brought Kakashi back into the light.

My POV

Minato and Kushina: "Congratulations on becoming a Genin!"

Currently, we are celebrating a congratulations party. Then, Minato and Kushina brought out a present for me.

I opened Kushina present first. My eyes shine when I saw it.

Ryou: "Nee-san, you brought me a tanto!"

Kushina: "It not just an ordinary tanto"

When I touched it. I can feel the chakra flow through the tanto. I was surprised.

Kushina: "This is a custom made tanto to let you mix with your nature chakra. Since you train hard with Sakumo, I figured it will be the best gift ever. Sakumo would be so proud of you."

Ryou: "Thank you nee-san"

Then I opened Minato gift. It's a scroll and a million of kunai that similar to Minato except that there is no formula seals on it.

Minato: "This is a space-time jutsu that I recreate from Nidaime Hokage."

Ryou: "Awesome, Thanks nii-san!"

I hugged them both. Then, I heard knocking on the door.

Jiraiya: "Yo, I hope I'm not too late"

Ryou: "Jiraiya-sama"

When the party all over, I head to my desk and began learning the flying raijin.

The next day, at the dango restaurant, I invited Shizune to eat. Since it will be the last we see each other. But I didn't expect the whole class to hangout here.

Ryou: "Sorry Shizune, I didn't expect everyone would be here."

Shizune: "Don't worry, I still have a lot of fun"

Then she suddenly remembered something.

Shizune: "I almost forgot to give you a gift. Here you go"

The gift she gave is a scroll contain of poison.

Ryou: "Thank you Shizune"

I looked at Shizune. She has become wonderful girl. I think she will grow up to be beautiful compare to the anime.

We talked about everything that has happened. I know that Kato Dan has died and I want to support her. To be honest, I think I'm falling for her and I want to be there for her like Jiraiya is there for Tsunade. As the time passed by, I said goodbye to everyone and go to the Hokage office.

Upon arriving at Hokage office, I saw Minato and Kakashi is inside the Hokage office.

Kakashi: "You are late"

I sweatdrop at this.

Ryou: "Don't be stingy Kakashi. Our classmates just wanted to have another renioun before becoming a Genin"

Then, Hiruzen cough to get our attention.

Hiruzen: "Now, let's me introduce you to your Jounin leader, Namizake Minato. You two will be team up together but only temporary until we can find you a suitable team."

We both nod and follow Minato too training ground 3. This is going to be awesome.

The sound of kunai clashing can be hear in the training ground 3.

Me and Kakashi are currently doing the bell test. In the woods, our shadow clone are currently discussing the plan. When they are done, they revert back to us. When the memories hit us. We start our plan.

Ryou: "Kakashi, let's go!"

Kakashi nod and used shadow clone to engage in taijutsu battle with Minato. As Minato about to win, the shadow clone poof out of existence. The smoke from the clone blind.

Then, I came in with a rasengan in my hand and attack Minato. Suddenly, Minato disappear and now behind Kakashi. Kakashi tries to attack but Minato quickly tied him up.

I quickly use shadow clone and turn in to a giant shuriken.

Minato jump out of the way. I quickly dispelled my transformation and ready to attack Minato with my with two rasengan in my hand.

But Minato manage to teleport away from me. Minato look at me it turns out both me that try to attack Minato was a shadow clone.

Suddenly, A hand appear on the ground and grab Minato's leg.. That the real me.

Ryou: "[Doton: Suicidal Beheading]"

I came out of the ground and only can see Minato's head above the ground.

I quickly rushed to Kakashi. Knowing Minato that not going to hold him. I summon my tanto and did the breathing technique.

Ryou: "[Ichi no kata: Hekireki Issen]"

With great speed I cut Kakashi's rope. Kakashi look at me. It feels like he blinked but his didn't.

Then, Minato got out from the ground.

Ryou: "Kakashi, plan B."

I did a shadow clone and we both perform the same jutsu. Then I can feel the wind were on my palm.

Kakashi jump and I slingshot him to Minato.

Minato managed to dodge it but Kakashi got the first bell. Then without given time Minato to recover.

Ryou: "[Ichi no kata: Hekireki Issen]"

I dash towards Minato and almost grabbed the bell but it turn out to be a shadow clone. Then it hit me.

Ryou: "Kakashi, is a trap!"

Kakashi lot a his bell again and it turns out to be a leaf.

Kakashi: "Ryou! He swapped the the bell!"

Minato: "Good effort guys but I won"

Suddenly Minato was right behind me and Kakashi. No wonder he is called the Yellow Flash

After that, we settle down and rested before Minato started to teach us.

After our training with Minato, Kakashi invite to the Hatake's compound.

Kakashi then hand a book of Hatake kenjutsu. I was in cloud nine when he offered to me.

Ryou: "Are you sure, Kakashi?"

Kakashi: "Yeah, take it. It my graduation gift for you and besides my father would want you to have it."

I was so happy. Now, I can be the fastest shinobi that can surpass the Raikage and The Yellow Flash.

Ryou: "Then, Kakashi I also have a give for you. Follow me"

I took Kakashi to the wood to teach him Chidori.

Ryou: "Here, Kakashi my gifts to you. My own developed A-grade ninjutsu, Chidori."

Kakashi: "You, developed yourself, an A-grade Jutsu!?"

Kakashi's dead fish eyes got wide open. You know for a genius, even he is suprise of my genius. I bet he see me as a monster rather a genius.

Ryou: "In the wrong hand this jutsu can be dangerous. So, Kakashi I'm trusting this to you."

Kakashi nod his head. The reason why I give him my chidori even though I can prevent it from him killing Rin is because without chidori he would be kill somewhere in the anime if he lucky.

Kakashi's talent in with thunder was far superior to that of me, he learned Chidori in just few days.

In the manga, Kakashi developed the Chidori after graduating. Now he has it as a 5 year old. When he graduates, he should be able to make great things with this technique.

Later on, we went on to discuss the many possible variants of this technique, and Kakashi became more and more impressed with me.

I also show all the jutsu I created to Minato and Kushina. Which they have not words for it.

Speaking of jutsu, I contribute my breathing technique and destructo disk which is actually a A-rank and mirage clones to Sandaime Hokage in exchange for Tobirama water style jutsu while Minato contribute the rasengan in exchange for space-time ninjutsu. And I also asked if I can sell a healing tags which I make it during my year of researching but Sandaime Hokage says that he will give me a mission reward depending on what rank mission the tag will be use. I agree to it because I can understand that he want to keep the budget minimum to rebuild back Konohagakure from the aftermath of Second Shinobi War.
