249 Rosie's Wishful Thinking

Rosie didn't know what to do now. Did she need to walk all the way back to the castle? Or should she summon the guards Howland sent to keep her from escaping?

"Ugh… my stomach hurts."

Rosie rushed to find the medicine she had prepared before going camping this afternoon. She took the picnic basket containing the leftovers from their lunch and pulled out a small folded cloth. Inside it, there were three types of medicines that Rosie must take. 

Were these the medicines that Aslan found? Ah… Rosie didn't want to think about that and drank all three medicines in one gulp. She didn't like pain, so Rosie just drank it without thinking much. After this, she could calm down a bit.

Rosie sat for a while looking at the bonfire in front of her. She was lost in her own thoughts. After hesitating for a while, Rosie decided to camp alone without Aslan. She would return to the castle tomorrow and ask to be taken to meet Howland at Duke Coby's residence.
