A Mad Breakfast

"I heard you met Prince Nicholas, huh?" he asked in a teasing tone. That was true. It seemed Howland hadn't told their father what had happened.

"Father, I want to say something about Prince Nicholas," Howland said.

"How's your opinion? He's a good boy, right? What do you think of Prince Nicholas, my rose?"

Howland and Rosie stared at each other. The man held his sister's hand to strengthen Rosie. He didn't want his sister to remember what had happened back then. If it was possible, he wanted to erase the rest of his sister's trauma completely. He nodded, saying that everything would be fine. 

Rosie was truly grateful to be reborn with an older brother who cared so much about her. Before… she was completely alone. She experienced all the misery in life by herself, and now she could lean her back on Howland a little because she knew Howland would protect her.
