Figuring out Mu Fang's Thought Process

The continuous shocks she's been put through had left her fear in the wind. She had once again been overheard by that demon. Through this, she realized his strength was actually more than she first thought. When he reacted to Chen Lijun's appearance it was clear he could see that video. That meant he had a way to pass through the black screen filter. She didn't even know it was possible to do such a thing. But it would cause chaos if the ordinary people knew. Just what kind of person had her fiance fallen for? No wonder Chen Lijun didn't object to the Su family's offer of engagement. How could his little Chen family protect him in such a big world?

Su Ting knew she was screwed when Mu Fang took the time to threaten her--and even had the peace of mind to laugh when his lover was in bed with someone else. It meant he probably already had eyes on the room. He knew the drug hadn't taken effect yet. He probably estimated that Su Ting would still make it in time, even if his men couldn't. It meant Mu Fang had the confidence that his 'possession' wouldn't be 'tainted'.

When they spoke on the phone Mu Fang knew she was a relative of Su Huijing. That meant he knew exactly who she was when she called. A man who knew the name of his secret lover's fiance's sister, and had the fiance's number, would have to be called obsessive. A man like that would never allow the target of his affections to be 'tainted' by some woman.

Not to mention the fact that the authorities didn't even show up. Su Ting thought about the emergency permissions she had sent out earlier. If he could unblock the filter, could he block permissions from getting to the authorities? He Ku read this thought in her mind and didn't mention that he'd set them as 'Domestic Dispute: fiance cheating with sister'.

Su Ting figured Mu Fang had used some underhanded means to keep it quiet. Which meant he may not want his method of 'cleaning up' to be 'clean'.

Had she gotten herself mixed up with someone so frightening and powerful? She wondered if she shouldn't have saved Chen Lijun in the forest that day. The thought was quickly banished. If those two were already together at that point she may have gone to sleep and never wake up in return for Chen Lijun's life. She also took back the regret about calling that demon today. Had she not called him and something happened. Or if Su Huijing had managed to pin it on her? Su Jing trembled. She covered her face with her hands.

The man in a suit and one of the guards that came with Mu Fang glanced at each other. Not only had this miss' sister schemed to steal away her fiance with drugs, but she'd also been tossed about by both of them until she became a messy wreck. To top it off, her fiance had been carried off by a gangster while he was crazed with a drug. What happened next need not be said. The girl's slender figure cut a pitiful outline on the carpet, but neither man knew whether to go forward to comfort the crying woman or silently leave and give her time to recollect herself.

She wondered how Su Huijing knew about Mu Fang. How she knew about the hotel being out of his reach, or when he would be out of the country? Although it was hard to believe that the wedding went through in her past life. Su Ting paused as a thought came to her.

It was possible the wedding didn't happen after all. She had received a message from Su Huijing while connecting to receive her allowance. It said the two of them were planning to get married and 'kindly invited' her to show. Su Ting never turned it back on after that. That meant she got no messages or news after that. The message also told Su Ting everything that had happened. It was sent the day after Su Huijing had fed Chen Lijun the drug. It was possible with the right information to know whether a child could be born at a certain time with certain people. Su Ting thought she'd already calculated everything out before she put her plan in motion. But what if she jumped the gun and there was no child? Or what if she was used as a surrogate? Or what if it never even had the time to 'fertilize' because she was 'taken care of' before that?

Su Ting shivered again and slowly lifted her head. She was afraid Mu Fang had left someone to 'deal' with her as well.

The guard and Su Huijing had disappeared. There was only the man in a suit waiting quietly at the door. She saw him and knew it was over. She would apologize to her grandmother face-to-face for wasting her second chance. Or would it be spirit-to-spirit? Her dark misty eyes looked up at the tall man through damp lashes. A string of soft hair hung down over her pale face creating an exaggerated contrast of black and white. Her sakura petal-like lips were bitten by her straight white teeth. Her long straight legs were folded beneath her exposed by her shorts. Her slender fingers gripped her oversized jacket like a lifeline. Her looks could awaken any man's protective instinct.

When the man in the suit saw her looking at him he politely bowed, "I have been ordered to escort Eldest Miss Su to a doctor. Please inform me when you are ready." Despite having shown hesitancy and worry to his peer earlier his face was now expressionless. It did not change when he saw a beauty looking at him pitifully. Once he conveyed his purpose for his presence he turned back and stared straight forward again.

Su Ting held her breath. It took her a moment to understand what was happening. It took her a few more seconds to connect the dots. Every time she'd heard that man laugh was when she showed knowledge of or acceptance of Chen Lijun and Mu Fang's relationship. Calling him a pervert for his obsession and allowing him to indulge in it anyway, or casually tossing aside her fiance to the arms of another man. Since she had already shown her stance Mu Fang no longer considered her a rival. Instead, she had helped Chen Lijun and even got herself bruised and broken for him in his stead. She was an ally.

Did this mean she didn't have to worry about him getting back at her for cursing him out? He even laughed every time instead of getting upset. It wasn't because he was laughing at her, but that he was pleased with her reactions. Wait, didn't that just make him an even bigger pervert? He didn't even care that he was cursed out.

But why did his underling say 'doctor' instead of 'hospital'?
