29 CH. 29: The Vacation Villa

"Why was she sick?"

"Calm down mom, she is fine. I had already placed her on an IV drip."

"Still how can she fall sick?"

"Dad, I think the one who can answer that is her."

"Then you shouldn't have come today and let her rest instead."

"It was her who didn't tell us, it was obvious she was stubborn of her decision to come and surprise you both."

"Well, this is indeed a surprise. But a worrying one at that."

"Mommy!!! Daddy!!!"

When Heather opened her eyes after hearing whispers around her, a bright smile instantly appeared in her beautiful face.

She called out as if she wasn't feeling lethargic at the moment, she was suddenly filled with energy.

Those who were whispering amongst themselves were completely stunned by her call.

Heather extended her hand towards Alexander with a bright smile.

"Faster remove it now!!!" she rushed him regarding her drip.

He chuckled before he took out a cotton and removed her drip.

She excitedly got up and jumped to embrace her mother and father.

Michelle Relish, a lady in her late forties.

With dark brown wavy hair and dark brown eyes.

She was a daughter of a politician but due to how she had lived her life not stepping out of the lime light, her life was peaceful despite the position of her father.

At the same time, she was already part of the Relish empire that she and her family have decided that they wouldn't be in too much contact, especially during elections.

Though he can use the help of Relish family to increase his popularity, Michelle's father didn't want anyone to think that his daughter married into Relish family for his sake.

Both parents were loving ones that they wanted their children to find happiness on their own and not to be entangled in the fight amongst the ones in the politics.

And because of this, Michelle was grateful that she was born in such a wonderful family.

Even though there was only her and her brother, Clark Ashwood, both were not deprived of anything, whether love or money.

Beside her was a man in his late forties, namely Noah Relish, the successor of the Relish Winery before Aldger Relish.

He was the eldest amongst the three children of Logan Relish, the one who lead the already at the peak Relish Winery to new heights.

Noah has two younger sisters, Evelyn Relish and Avery Relish.

Evelyn was the cofounder of a perfume company, Evhan Parfum.

Evhan being her husband who was her cofounder having the name Hans Gilbert.

She didn't receive the sense of taste that the Relish had but she had heightened sense of smell allowing her to create perfumes that was now being widely known.

Avery Relish found joy in writing stories, becoming an author of different genre, she didn't have the heightened senses but just like her siblings, her imagination was vast.

People say that the Relish family has powers but no, there was none. They were simply gifted with different capabilities that they actually found their passion in different fields without hindering one another.

Just like Michelle's family, the Relish family was also harmonious.

"Slow down child," Noah couldn't help but say when she jumped at them.

Heather giggled and hugged them tighter.

"I miss you so much, mommy, daddy," she said as she robbed her face in their arms, enjoying the warmth she felt from them.

Michelle chuckled, "It has been a while since we last heard one of you call us mommy and daddy. Has your fever affected your mental age?"

The last time they called their parents in such an intimate way was when they were ten. Soon 'mommy' and 'daddy' turned to 'mom' and 'dad'.

Though Michelle had a teasing tone, the tightness of her hug couldn't deny the fact that she really missed her daughter.

There were even tears at the edge of her eyes.

Heather returned to the city from where she went after the disowning event but they didn't get the chance to meet her even until they received the news that she was married.

They were both furious and worried due to the story behind the marriage but Heather didn't appear before them.

They wanted to meet her but she refused.

"I was an embarrassment and a failure as your daughter, I'm sorry."

Remembering everything that she had done in neglecting her family, she couldn't stop her tears from falling as she apologized.

"I wanted you to disown me, left on my own without telling you where I would go and then I returned and without meeting you I got married in such circumstances. Just what kind of daughter was I?" she asked.

Noah gritted his teeth, just how many times did they wish to get her back. To bring her back to their arms and shower her with love?

But every single time, they couldn't. For every single time, they are reminded of her dull eyes.

The time she had lost trust to life and the people around her.

They knew she went to a secluded village but they chose not to follow her, to let her live a different life.

Because they knew no matter what, she will always be their daughter and they will always be family.

Yet the next news they heard was of her being married to the son of Porter Family.

Without them being there because of the promise she asked them to make.

The promise of not letting anyone know that she was never disowned until she herself comes out.

They were hurt and angry at the time of her marriage, her grandparents even planned in disowning her for real.

But her brothers stopped them, saying that surely there is a deeper reason behind it.

So they waited for her to appear before them and explain herself, yet a year passed and there was no news.

When the van arrived at the villa, they were shock because they didn't know that their children will visit, knowing how busy they were at this moment.

But of course, they were also happy about it.

Yet when their sons told them to get in to see their surprise, they were welcomed by the view of their thin daughter in an IV drip.

They almost had a heart attack, thinking she was gravely ill until Alexander told them to calm down as Heather was simply having a fever.

They didn't know what else to think other than to wonder why they still pushed through in coming when Heather was sick.

And as they worry, Heather opened her eyes, the once dull gray orbs are now filled with life, with light.

That alone made them heave a sigh of relief because at the very least, all life returned to her.

When she called them in such an intimate way, their anger melted away.

And now that she is crying in apology, the pain they felt slowly healed.

"I'm sorry mommy, daddy, for being such a selfish daughter. Doing things that kept hurting you over and over again. I'm so sorry."

"Calm down, Heather. You are still having a fever, if you cry too much, your fever will just worsen," Michelle let her go and wiped her tears away.

Heather shook her head, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry... Please forgive me... I love you... I love you so much..."

Michelle was unable to stop her tears when she heard her apology and her heartfelt 'I love you's'.

Noah was also teary eyed before he pulled Heather in another tight hug.

"It's fine now. You are back, you came back to us. We love you too, sweetheart. We love you so much."

As he spoke he was also patting her hair and he planted a kiss on her temple.

Michelle hugged Aldger who was closest to her.

Alexander walked over and hugged the two pairs, followed by Hunter and Dexter.

"I'm home. I really am home," Heather spoke making the rest even more emotional.

Soon, they had to rush Heather in a room because she had fainted.

Her fever had indeed risen, Alexander had no other choice but to inject her with medicine.

Having no servants, since Michelle and Noah wants to have simplicity in their lives, Michelle was the one who went and cooked some porridge for her.

They simply call for a cleaner once a week to help clean the big villa.

It was a three story villa with a cellar in the basement, where all prized wines are stored.

In the first floor was the kitchen, living and dining room. One bedroom with its own restroom and three other comfort rooms for guests.

The bedroom being for the elder couple.

The second floor has six bed rooms with their own comfort rooms and small terraces.

While the third floor has six bedrooms with their own comfort rooms. These ones have no small terraces, since there is a lounge area that leads to a bigger terrace that overlooks the plantation.

And then there was the attic which has the only study room in the villa, could also be known as a mini library, and a movie theater room. These two are placed here because the view from this height was the best.

There is an installed elevator to reach each floors.

The villa was actually 40,000 square meter in size and was among the biggest villa in the country.

Since this is the vacation villa for the whole Relish family.

Though as of this moment, there was only Noah's family with five children. And Evelyn's family with two children.

Avery was still unmarried while being in her late thirties. She was simply enjoying her time writing stories.

Despite that, Logan chose to lessen the land for the plantation just so he could build this villa for his whole family.

Logan was an only child and so is his wife making it a bit lonely for them during childhood.

They wanted more children but they were only gifted with three.

Nevertheless they dreamt of a bigger family, the reason this whole Villa was build.

Now their land for their grape plantation has the size of 8,129.6 acres.

Their land was actually in comparison to Porter's herb plantation with the size of 9,201.8 acres

If one were to compare, their difference was the number of businesses built. Since Relish was focused on their winery while Porter has hospitals, pharmacies and the likes.

After cooking and the rest coming down for some refreshments, they all seated around the dining table.

It was already night but they were wide awake.

Currently they are the only ones here, the elderly couple were off to a vacation and will be back by tomorrow.
