6 Zach Lu

In the S City Airport, everything seemed normal. People come and go. Some are going to board the plane. Some just arrive. But most were friends and family members sending and fetching their loved ones. However, this particular day there are some people who are neither of those mentioned. They stationed themselves at every corner of the waiting area where they could spot the exit of the arrival area with high end cameras in hand. They're goal is the same, the CEO of the most powerful conglomerate in Z Country the LuMin Conglomerate, Zach Lu.

LuMin Conglomerate started as a car manufacturing company and was a pioneer in the field making their history date back to more than a century. Then after generations of different leaders and growth of technology, the company expanded and branch out to different fields. And also expanded internationally. As of today the conglomerate consists of car manufacturing, electronic appliances and gadgets manufacturing, computer and software industry and even an entertainment company that Zach Lu started. Overall, all long as it dabbles in technology, the LuMin Conglomerate surely had at least dipped their fingers on it.

Although Zach Lu is not the only CEO you could meet in S City, he is a special existence not only because his business empire is the biggest and most successful. The greatest reason is his impeccable looks and overpowering charisma that could put any celebrity in the background. It's like he has every good thing life can offer. He is every women and even some men's dream man. Just a single high definition picture of his face can fetch a photographer enough to feed themselves for a year.

But taking such picture is easier said than done because it is almost impossible to find him in public. And when he is, he is constantly surrounded with bulky bodyguards that obstruct any shots. But it didn't deter the paparazzis and tirelessly followed him around. Who wouldn't? Where can you find someone else whose face alone is enough to bring you sucess and recognition. What more if you get lucky enough to sniff out gossip or even a scandal, you could directly ascend to the peak.

When Zach Lu finally arrived and exited the airport, the bodyguards who travelled with him plus the bodyguards who were already waiting at the exit swiflty moved and form an encirclement. During that short moment the paparazzi lying in wait simultaneously popped out of nowhere and started snapping photos startling the people around them. This also aroused other's curiosity. After seeing the handsome man surrounded by the bodyguards they were enlightened. Some thought he is a celebrity. But those who were in the know felt that they were especially lucky to encounter this big Buddah.

To everyone's pleasant surprise, especially for the paparazzis, beside the man is a beautiful woman in pink dress who walks with elegance and offered everyone with her sweet smile. Her peach blossom eyes that make her look like she is smiling all the time is always on the perfect man beside her. Making all the men in the area to feel unprecedented envy and defeat towards the man. She is Alice Han, a very famous pianist who is able to revitalize classical music. Because of her, the youth of today regain their interest in the classics not only for her talent but also for her fairy-like beauty.

Looking at Zach and Alice together, anyone would agree that they are the embodiment of what a perfect couple should look like. Seeing them, the paparazzi could already formulate ten thousand words of report about a tryst abroad between the two. And with the knowledge that they both came from F Country that is famous for its city of love, they already anticipated a news of an engagement or even marriage in a few days. If that's not a scoop, then they don't know what is.

Not far from the exit, Eugene waved his hand to get the attention of his cousin and friend who just arrived. Earlier he already spotted the paparazzis due to his developed sixth sense from years of being a celebrity. This made him remain on alert in the past hour. But now he realized that his cautiousness is unnecessary. To them he is nothing compared to the golden couple heading towards his direction. This made him question his charm and overall existence.

Earlier Zach's bodyguards also recognized the young master of the Lin family and included him on the encirclement beforehand so he is not obstructed while walking towards Alice and Zach. "You're finally here. Honestly I couldn't feel even more irrelevant right now. I was here for more than an hour all covered up obviously looking like a celebrity in disguise but these paparazzis just ignored me. Not that I want to be mobbed, but still. I guess being the hottest celebrity still couldn't compare to the fame of the golden couple."

Hearing her cousin's teasing Alice admonished Eugene but her tone sounded more like an embarassed little girl. "What are you saying in public cousin? We're not..." She said in an open ending tone while taking a peek at Zach's reaction. She knows that her reaction is quiet ambigous. But she needs to do this to get a firm hold on this perfect man. Only the heavens know that although they spent a week in F Country, they only met each other for less than an hour during her performance. The next time they met was in the airport when they were about to board the plane.

"Yes, yes. You're not whatever. Just think of it as me talking to myself." Eugene sarcastically remarked. Obviously not believing her.

"You're alone? I thought your sister is coming back today?" Zach interjected. It is unclear whether he started the topic to brush off the issue about him and Alice or he is genuinely curious about Eugene's sister. But it is enough to set off alarm bells in Alice's mind.

She couldn't explain it but it could be consider as a woman's instict. It started when she offhandedly mentioned that her relatives will welcome them at the airport since they are coincidentally there to fetch her cousin who just came back from studying abroad. At that time his hand even pause from working on his laptop and said, "Eunice is coming back?" Alice didn't know that Zach knew Eunice's name so it caught her offguard. But she only brush it off as maybe he knows about her because Eugene might have mentioned her before.

But Eugene's reply proved otherwise. "You know Eunice?"

Realizing that he slipped, Zach still remain calm. "Alice said so."

"Oh. They went home first because Eunice is tired and looked sick. Right, you've never met her before. Honestly why is that? Weve been friends for a decade but I have never introduced you to each other."

"Probably because you are a siscon who wants to hide your sister from the male population." Zach replied sarcastically that rendered Eugene speechless. He couldn't refute it at all since his younger self would most likely think of that.

On the side Alice maintain her smile as she listen to the two men conversing while walking towards the parking area. She couldn't help but feel a sense of crisis.
